The one offensive STMR to have that everyone forgets... Summer whip. It's amazing for sealing elements in trials, inflicting them for story missions and status ailments for arena. Saves so much time in set up.
Certainly not a 100% but if you're only 50% away it's worth considering depending on where you are in the game. I've been using mine for most team comps since I acquired it a long while back. Major time saver.
You do great work Claic my brother. Relieve yourself of that pressure because you and all the other content creators do such amazing vids for this game. If people can't make their own decisions on what they want to moogle and instead choose to rely on you or Howl or G4G for that information they can't and shouldn't be mad/upset at you guys. You're steering them in the right direction but ultimately the decison is that person's to make. Period. Keep up the great work!

Elemental/status resist for the win. Marie, Zarg, and Rinoa have never left my party since I got them, and Ramza‘ is firmly chillin with Charlotte. I love the way you went with this video and there is no way someone could be misled with this list. SeemsGoodMan.
What about Nyx's Dagger? 20% resistance across the board, 20% HP, 50 defense and can get high tide. Also has fire element and 158 attack as an extra bonus. Great video! So hard to choose when you only get one, but there are so many good ones :)

One thing for sure : I will use it on limited time unit. Sometimes RNG just give you off banner rainbow, and that unit could be your 5th one. Not to mention the existence of UoC ticket. You could farm any STMR, as long as the units aren't limited. It just take quite a long time.
I've had Marie's STMR for a while and it is suuuper helpful. But honestly when it comes to STMR Moogles, I'd say use them on limited time units. Since with those theres no chance of randomly pulling them more down the line later.
Cool list. If any of you guys wanna go offensive with the usage of the moogles there's only 2 items I'd recommend because of their overall futureproofness. Ravenheart and Warrior of the Crystal.
I have a 7* Rinoa and I am super tempted to use the STMR moogle on her. I agree that defensive STMRs are the way to go here, as you get more longevity out of them. Most people recommend using the moogles on limited units, though, and we know that there are some awesome ones that come in the future. So it's a hard decision.

Agree with all of your recommendations. I will also probably be saving mine for Locke STMR in the future, as Locke is one of my fave FF characters and his STMR opens up some awesome builds for evasion tanks.
Claic, Imperial Armor from Willhelm is a good one because it is the top tier armor AND it free's up Willhelm's shield slot for something with better defenses and elemental resists. Currently his TMR shield has 64 def and spr, which is good, BUT it has no elemental coverage. Equipping his STMR would give him his TMP and still let you equip a shield. Also his armor is probably BiS for Charlotte if you don't need an elemental resist body.
Glad I'm not the only one thrilled they aren't 100% moogles. Sitting on so many copies of 3 units... rinoa included!! So tempting to get it just for Rinoa and Ramza's stmrs! argghh. Going to wait for that free 5* 10+1 coming up before dropping the cash.
I'm ftp and I'm upwards of 50 or 60 7 stars. The key is to pull on guaranteed 5 star banners 5k lapis. It's bad at first but in the long term it's way better. I only pull on super banners. I have cloud and hyoh stmr.
I think the biggest one you missed that still stick to your motif in this vid is Hexatheon's Revelation from noctis. Its the same as zargs but instead of 30% hp/spr/def it gives 20% to all stats including mp, the same elements and 2 lb crysts. So instead of just gearing up tanks it gears any unit for elements, stats and lb. In my opnion its just a step up from zargs since it has more uses.
What's funny is that most of the stmrs you mentioned i have them zarg, a.rain, marie, summer fitra. My options with stmrs now is sylvie, wilheim and summer fid
Elly's is hard to imagine needing. Elemental resist is best for tanks unless there's a preemptive attack that hurts your mage. Still not bad though. At the very least, give it to your Elly and ditch her weapon for something better.
Just picked up two stmrs today. Pulled on the tank banner and got my 4th mercenary ramza, and I've been sitting on 4 ayaka for awhile. So I just stmr both of them today. I love reverie shield, it's so powerful.
Still really unsure about what STMR I'm going to pick up. The only two I'd add to your list are Noctis' for the wide spread of stats and Ele resist, and Jensen's Coat almost strictly for Regina and because he's limited time.
Already got a couple of those STMR's and they are SWEET! But I think one video that might help would be how to inventory better when we have these summon banners and we keep summoning up a storm, I'm either selling half my stuff or merging it just so I have more room. Starting to really fill up on Pots too. Can't really do the Arena medals cause theres no space 😒
Great list. The only one that I would add to it, off the top of my head, is Viktor Marchenko's STMR. 80% DEF and status ailment resist to sleep, paralyze, confuse, and petrify.
for a future stmrs, i hope they add different immunities. they should make an accessory with all immunities including stop, attract, and death. especially death! they should also make a unit who can cast resistance to ailment debuffs.
i am thinking of using the super tmr moogle on elena since any tdh unit can benefit from it and my esther would love it to also great video you talked about a lot of amazing super tmrs to use the super tmr moogle which can be helpful to people who are undecided
I definitely feel whale-y after watching this video! Perhaps I have been very lucky to get a lot of the more defensive STMRs. Already have Rinoa, Ramza, Marie, Zarg, Cilka, and Awakened Rain. They almost never leave my team for trials. I have been contemplating Shortcake, as I have a 7 star Rena. I love the combo of high spirit and status null, as well as MP refresh and 2LB per turn. Not to mention its limited time so I am not going to use the moogle, then pull one tomorrow.

I agree with everything but i would add 2 things: 180 atk weapons are going to be very important due to the change in the dmg formula. Any dps not wearing one will get its dmg lowered by some amount. The second is: for me the best investment is to use them on limited time units.
Since we are counting limited time, I'd give an honorable mention to Viktor, 80% DEF + Sleep, paralyse, confuse and petrify resistance is all a physical tank could want
Next stmr is going to be Felix, I was only able to get 2 of him during his banner so I guess next 100% STMR moogle is going to make Elena stronger :D, after that I pretty much will have every best in slot for her.
Totally agree with Rinoa's stmr, I put it on Esther so she has good elemental resistance for 5 elements. I'm going to use the stmr moogles on something unconventional, Demon Rain stmr and Dracu Lasswell stmr to make strong evade counter tank. xD
I took Adam Jensen's STMR since it is for Gun Users like Regina, and there's no telling if/when that event will ever return. I only needed 1 of the 2 STMR stars for that, so I spent my other to get Rinoa's STMR even though she's not a limited unit. If this kind of bundle comes up again, my next choice will be Arngrim for his monster lightning sword for Esther.
Couldn't agree more with this list, personally have two Winged Hearts and easily the most used of my STMRs. Supports love it, tanks want it, DPS need it!
If I decide to get this i'm really thinking about Elena's STMR to make her beast mode. I've got at least 1 of quite a few of your suggested STMR's already at least :P.
I'll probably agonize over what to get, then save it for later because I decide there could still be something more amazing, and then I'll likely get desperate at some point and get the STMR I need to clear that one bit of a trial I lack or something... I tend to hoard way too much until I really need it and I can see myself having 10 STMR Moogles at some point without having used even one even when it would have saved me lots of frustration to just use it.

I'd say you should probably concentrate on STMR from units you want a dupe off. Like Monk Sabin's, his STMR is bonkers, but the one thing more bonker than it is a Monk Sabin's dupe. So since the chance of you getting 6 of him is slimer than getting 4 of other units you should consider getting his STMR trough the moogles. Other units that falls under this category: -Lunneth -Awakened Rain -Veritas of the Light -Eshter
unfortunatly the are bosses that cant be one shot. Like there are litteraly bosses who stop taking damage for the rest of the turn when they reach a certain point.
It's because weapons with high attack are more commonly outdated than gear with high stats/elemental resist/status immunity. Survivability and sustainability are worth more in the long run than units/equipment that simply boost attack. And this is intentional. Trial bosses cannot be OTK'd and will punish you if multiple HP thresholds are met.
This was a fun video. You always were a big fan of those elemental resistance gear. I thought about the zarga stmr too. It looks super juicy doesn't it?

the best stmr are the timeless ones. so abilities that give unique or overpowered traits. killers, stat immunities, elemental resistances. weapons arent bad but they arent as valuable to me. my top 5: (my opinion) 1. rinoa - winged heart 2. awakened rain - knight's medal 3. malphasie - ravenheart 4. zargabaath - judge's oath 5. aileen - scanning goggles
Its so strange to me that 10 years ago 50 dollars would buy you an entire game and everything you could unlock in it and now 50 dollars allows you to get a single item for a single unit
I kinda feel like you can skip Ramza's STMR, since there is Hero's Shield and Impervious Shield that in most cases fill the role just as good. They would only be a slight detriment in fights that include non-elemental damage in addition to elemental damage.

Of the units you listed, I only have ONE Ramza. :(. I have STMR FOR Rinoa, Zarg, and. A. Rain, and 7 star Rena. I’m really leaning towards Rena for the 100% moogle, or Chow for that 80% SPR. For 50% I could finish 2B since I fused my 3rd into her when the banner ended. (Stupid move.). Definitely buying that bundle though!
I have 2 contenders for the STMR moogle Malphasie and Elena since I love hybrid units I tend to use them more compared to my other damage dealers so I'm kinda curious on which of these 2 are the best to go for first
Crap i almost bought the bundle thinking its both 100% STMR Moogle. But still damn good. I'm just looking for even more value. I mean, its hard to spend 47.99(2400php here in ph) when life keeps reminding you about life.
I was thinking using it to get esther's, Elaina's or a staff stmr. Or hold it until the unit with bahamut's tear gets his awakening prism to give to Esther. Feel free to tell me if its a bad idea.
Grabbing Secret of Mana... More or less bought Randi to 7*/0% stmr. I want to push his limits and hopefully free up an ability slot for a killer materia or some other useful thing.
The real question is do I fuse my 2 7* Elly together, or do I get 2 of her STMR... I know one thing for sure, I wait until Grim Lord Sakura, and other limited time units get reworked... because Grim Lord Sakura's STMR is pretty defensive Kryla could end up being boosted as well... Christine? Who knows. Let's see what happens.

I think Queens STMR deserves mentioning. Its an 55 ATK accesory paired with a one-time 100% safetynet, if the unit is above 1% HP.

The only one i disagree with is Ramza because we have access to 2 shields in the game that give 20% elements resistant across the board

Your doing great. Having issues with ffbe for awhile but I think they are doing better.

I would add Kryla's STMR personally. High SPR and good ele coverage for a hat. Works well on most/all units

I would say Basch's stmr is one of the best- 50% hp and 30% spirit can benefit healers and magic tanks in a massive way
CHOWS STMR has a large amount of spirit % increase too and randi's secret of mana STMR has really good attack stats on it too

I'd say you should probably concentrate on STMR from units you want a dupe off. Like Monk Sabin's, his STMR is bonkers, but the one thing more bonker than it is a Monk Sabin's dupe. So since the chance of you getting 6 of him is slimer than getting 4 of other units you should consider getting his STMR trough the moogles.

-Awakened Rain
-Veritas of the Light
-Eshter

unfortunatly the are bosses that cant be one shot. Like there are litteraly bosses who stop taking damage for the rest of the turn when they reach a certain point.

It's because weapons with high attack are more commonly outdated than gear with high stats/elemental resist/status immunity.
Survivability and sustainability are worth more in the long run than units/equipment that simply boost attack. And this is intentional. Trial bosses cannot be OTK'd and will punish you if multiple HP thresholds are met.
I’m thinking about going for Hyoh Stmr mainly because most of my 7 stars are at 50% on stmr and Prishe’s stmr isn’t useful to me at the moment

Your guide is great, honestly very helpful. I believe it would be best to use it on limited time STMRs, but that's just personal opinion.
the best stmr are the timeless ones. so abilities that give unique or overpowered traits. killers, stat immunities, elemental resistances. weapons arent bad but they arent as valuable to me.
my top 5: (my opinion)
1. rinoa - winged heart
2. awakened rain - knight's medal
3. malphasie - ravenheart
4. zargabaath - judge's oath
5. aileen - scanning goggles

I'm using mine for Randi. Limited time unit plus hes one if my favorite units. It will help me open up his weapon slot and still get his tmr ability.
Its so strange to me that 10 years ago 50 dollars would buy you an entire game and everything you could unlock in it and now 50 dollars allows you to get a single item for a single unit
I kinda feel like you can skip Ramza's STMR, since there is Hero's Shield and Impervious Shield that in most cases fill the role just as good. They would only be a slight detriment in fights that include non-elemental damage in addition to elemental damage.

@@auroncloud5667 Depends if you spent on the Game, I do from time to time and had no way to get a fourth KH Cloud. Plus I got Lapis, more worth than buying Lapis for 50 Bucks imo.
Really good advice although I think limited time units stmrs have priority. At least if you plan to keep playing this game for a long time.
I wouldn't 't use them on a non limited time unit...I'm gonna save mine for future units for now...nice video tough. don't feel uncomfortable doing this kind of videos since a good opinion always help.
Are you doing the Snake DIet too? I'm down 15 lbs in 3 weeks, so far so good! As for the STMR moogle I am going to wait to see how Christine and Kryla's STMR's get boosted before making any decisions.
Of the units you listed, I only have ONE Ramza. :(. I have STMR FOR Rinoa, Zarg, and. A. Rain, and 7 star Rena. I’m really leaning towards Rena for the 100% moogle, or Chow for that 80% SPR. For 50% I could finish 2B since I fused my 3rd into her when the banner ended. (Stupid move.). Definitely buying that bundle though!
After I stupidly fused my third Freya (VP), I thought I’d have to pull another one for stmr. But this 50% moogle is tempting tbh.

since I love hybrid units I tend to use them more compared to my other damage dealers
so I'm kinda curious on which of these 2 are the best to go for first

Crap i almost bought the bundle thinking its both 100% STMR Moogle. But still damn good. I'm just looking for even more value. I mean, its hard to spend 47.99(2400php here in ph) when life keeps reminding you about life.
I was thinking using it to get esther's, Elaina's or a staff stmr. Or hold it until the unit with bahamut's tear gets his awakening prism to give to Esther. Feel free to tell me if its a bad idea.

Grabbing Secret of Mana... More or less bought Randi to 7*/0% stmr. I want to push his limits and hopefully free up an ability slot for a killer materia or some other useful thing.
I already have rain strm so I think I will go for a limited time one. Im thinking about Randi that is super good, or krila for the resistances
The real question is do I fuse my 2 7* Elly together, or do I get 2 of her STMR... I know one thing for sure, I wait until Grim Lord Sakura, and other limited time units get reworked... because Grim Lord Sakura's STMR is pretty defensive Kryla could end up being boosted as well... Christine? Who knows. Let's see what happens.
