@@JustADad I liked it, but to be honest, it’s just me & I don’t need a full pot of coffee for just myself, so I switched back to my old single cup coffee pot ( it’s high tech) and gave this one to my clubhouse at my park

Hey just a dad.
I dislike this maker. I thought the right side was for individual cups. It's not. It's for hot water. This was a gift. He though the same thing based on appearance I suppose. It would be easier to just put a cup of water in the microwave. I never like my hot water to come from the same system that utilized coffee. Always get a diffrent color or off taste.
Just been my own experience. Really wish this was a single independent coffee access center.
It would of been a hit.
I see they did upgrade to a similar system, after this I believe.
Unfortunately this one is a big miss for me.

I already went through two they had to have one replaced and now it's not working at this rate I will never buy anyting Cuisinart ever again planning on buying a completely different coffee maker all together

I’ve had two of these - eventually the start button just stops working properly and the carafe leaks water when you pour - it makes such a mess that I have to pour over the sink. Both of mine had the exact same issues - otherwise I love it but wondering if the thermal pot leaks less when you pour - I noticed if I fill the machine with water and shake it around it seems to clean the inside of the pot so that the start button functions better for awhile haha 😂 I wish they’d fix these two issues
Thanks for Sharing your story about this machine. I thought Cuisinart made better products than this. Those do sound like the machine could be mader better. It is funny you said the Carafe leaks water. Now that you said something, my carafe does leak water. I guess I never dreamed a carafe would leak water, I mean it's gotta be the most basic part of a coffee maker. but you are right the carafe leaks. wow thanks again for sharing. I have been playing with that start button and it does feel like a week point, mine has not failed yet but it just feels like a cheap switch.
@@JustADad Yes you are welcome. The sad thing is - nobody else is making these type machines. You'd think with all the sales Cuisinart has for these that other companies would offer something similar, however I have only found the very few that were offering one, are no longer selling them. So we are left with only the Cuisinart Brand. I want to love it and I do, I just hate that it isn't made better.
Seems companies make things to only last a couple years these days
@@lorae7 I just received a comment on another cuisinart coffee maker, the viewer was have a problem with it and she contacted Cuisinart and if its under 3 years old they will replace it. Sounds like they are helping. I looked up the number but I am not sure if this is the number she called. 1-800-726-0190
I'm looking into this machine. Can you explain more about the leaking? Do you mean that when you pour the coffee into your mug, that coffee leaks from the carafe? I've only have a Keurig, but I'm looking into something with a pot as well , so really trying to find the best option for me.
@@JustADad i have one also. and it does exactly what yours does. It is six years old ,the coffee side still works properly , but the hot water side has lights that do not work properly , very confusing.

Ours did not stop at 1-4
This coffee maker will brew whatever amount of water you put in the water reservoir for the coffee maker side. the 1/4 selection is so it will brew the coffee a little longer since its a small amount
