Congratulations on two quality hunts and kills. Scouting, scent control, discipline and sharing the experience with your cameraman. Great work gentlemen. God bless, Joshua.
A lot of hunting pressure? Hunted deer for 40 years on heavily hunted areas. No big bucks like that spend much time in the open. Oct. 30 does up the odds though.
Got to say i dont think i would have had the guts to be that aggressive calling in that buck. But then again hunting in NJ we have such heavily pressured bucks that calling might not work that well. Congrats. What a stud
55 yard shot is a very low percentage shot for even an excellent target shooter. I know hunters do make that shot on occasion, but I wonder how many are crippled by shooting that far.....we never hear about those. Look how far this buck dropped at the shot and it was only 20 yards. Foam targets can't move.
Probably one of the best videos I have seen on calling techniques versus deer reaction. We have all had this situation and you cant get him in. The snort wheeze looked like it sealed the deal. Great job!!
Do you folks have any videos going through kind of the preparation stages before hunting season? Stuff like what stands you use, what are key signs to look for when deciding where to setup your stands, and how to properly hide yourself in your stand? Just got into bow hunting last season but have been struggling with properly preparing for the season and knowing where to be and when. Very much enjoyed this video, one of my favorites to date.
Wow! That was a great video. It was like I was right there with you in the stand. Good calling technique, and great shooting. That big 8 pointer dropped a bit at the shot, but you placed the arrow right where it needed to be. Thanks for posting, now I'm looking forward to the upcoming season even more!
Hey Ben, what did that thing score? I shot one that looked just like it but mine's brow tines were both over 8" and 21"inside spread. Mine scored 156 4/8 but yours looks a little bigger. Congrats and great shot!
nice hunts, nice bucks. I have to say, its the first time i have seen a hunter refer to a 10 pt as an 8 pt. Yes i know its a mainframe 8, but i would still call it a 10 pt
This is just getting me so excited for bow season because we got 1 really nice buck and 1 huge buck and I’m hopping I can get one for my first buck with a bow I already got a turkey with a bow now all I need is a buck
Hey Deer Society! I am new to archery and I was wondering what time of the year the Black Rack and the Extinguisher calls should be used for bucks. I'm in Montana and I'm not sure what would be the best time.
Very nice harvest... absolutely beautiful deer! I would like to see a similar hunt without the use of any sponsored cosmetics. I believe you would have the same result with less expense and preparation.
I’m a blackmail hunter in California on public land. It’s so crazy to hear things like I had him at 55 yards and I just let him go. I might only get one 55 yard chance all season
This year will be my first time hunting in the 53 years of my life. I have been watching videos, reading and talking to friends that hunt to get an idea of what I should buy, and expect. I see you are using a foam to cover your scent but then you put the same hat on. Does the scent on the hat not matter or did you apply something to the hat off camera? I am looking into scent control and while there is a lot of information on it, I am not so clear on how and when to apply any of it. Any response would be very much appreciated.
If you use a scent and dye free detergent and keep your clothes in a tote there will be minimal scent on them. The foam he uses I am going to try this year but it captures any sweat or scent you create on your walk in... hope that helps!
I’m not seeing any bucks this year on my camera. Gotta watch this stuff just to stay interested. Last time this happened I got a 12 point. Last year I had 2 8s almost that size, but I feel neighbors took them.
Great deer! But this is why I don't bow hunt you have to get them in range and it causes you to miss too many. Honestly a crossbow is better because it goes farther. Bow hunting is way too much of a hassle. Y'all feel me?
I always love seeing the cameraman get in on the action. They are under appreciated
Congratulations on two quality hunts and kills. Scouting, scent control, discipline and sharing the experience with your cameraman. Great work gentlemen. God bless, Joshua.
That was so cool, watching them switch off and still be just as excited with a cull buck. Awesome guys
No such thing as a cull

2 yrs in a roe. October 30 been it for 200 inch deer I'm missouri

Very seldom do hunters do this much calling, even on private land at peak rut. But it worked for them
I can't wait for a break in school so I can watch this😂
Relate
Thanks for following! You will love this Breakdown.
Same still in psych
I was thinking the exact same thing
Thought I was the only one🤣
Thanks for the no distraction music during your excellent hunt. Enjoyed it.
That 55yd shot would’ve been tough especially quartering to. Great call! Perseverance pays off in the end!

Whitetail Habitat Solutions is the best channel for that, by far. Sometimes a little over the top, but great information.
Ben has always been one of the best hunters out there.
That’s a hell of a bow two different people shooting two different ways and both perfect shot nice job guys
Can’t believe how far that six point ran. I’m always amazed at how tough these animals are

Excellent video thanks for sharing! This is an enormous 8pt his brows are just wicked and cool.

nice hunts, nice bucks. I have to say, its the first time i have seen a hunter refer to a 10 pt as an 8 pt. Yes i know its a mainframe 8, but i would still call it a 10 pt
The 2 short "points" may not qualify as measurable points.
It was actually 9.
Absolute Dream Deer right there!
Beautiful buck. Wish I saw bucks like that. 😁
2 sweet shots boys
Thanks
Never gets old
can’t wait for this
Thanks for following!
@@TheDeerSociety thanks for the great content
That's not a whitetail, that's a freakin' MOOSE. What a monster.
I wasn’t expecting the camera man to fill a tag with someone else’s bow. Nice plot twist
I love 6 points ! Great job
ready for another season!!!
Great Video Ben .
Crazy buck, nice to see some good aggressive calling to really change his mind.
I Love those Red Headed Bucks!
This is just getting me so excited for bow season because we got 1 really nice buck and 1 huge buck and I’m hopping I can get one for my first buck with a bow I already got a turkey with a bow now all I need is a buck

Great shot !
Can't wait
You're going to love this one!
Good to see the camera guy getting one also
Neat pack. Would like to see a video on how you organize it with all those bottles. Great video.
That extinguisher didn't sound that good to me but proof it worked!
Been waiting on this!!!!
Cmon October!!!

Anytime during the rut should work :)
King 8 but really a 9 point ..awesome deer
Amen
We got a wide 10 like that 8 you got out here in Missouri
You can not beat a beautiful 8 point like that.
That was a nice young deer!
@ The Deer Society I just ordered Phaze Field Foam, I better drop a King 10 this year 😂
AMAZING HUNT!!!!!
Awesome hunt will be picking up one of those calls!!!
That 6 point wouldn’t have even been legal in missouri which is the crazy thing- has to be 4 points on one side here. Really nice deer
Lotsa moving parts to make that work out. Good job, you earned it!
Very nice harvest... absolutely beautiful deer! I would like to see a similar hunt without the use of any sponsored cosmetics. I believe you would have the same result with less expense and preparation.

What broad heads were you using
Awesome buck man way to go!! Imma try to get one like that this year

Scent is irrelevant if you are downwind from your target.
Fellow Ohioan getting it done. Congratulations on an amazing buck.

@@TheDeerSociety Thank you great video I can't wait to get into the stand bow season is around the corner! :)
That deer is beautiful
Could you please tell us what the deer scored. Thank you!
What kind of broad head was you using
I cant believe he stayed with all the calling. In upstate NY if you get a bugger whistle they're history lol.
Great stuff y’all!
Great video......the head he is using sure makes a lot of noise...one heck of an entry hole tho
