@@jebegonzalez And it still looks very nice... and the little softness due to upscale just fits the vipe. Amazing! Or did you use any sort of AI upscaling?
It's called rolling shutter. It can also be a combination with frame rate as well (the more frames the more your editor has to work with when panning in slow motion as well)
@@CraigToddOfficial Higher frame rates can be used for slow motion to hide more of the rolling shutter, but it will still be there but just not as obvious. You have to do practice on your camera to see how much rolling shutter it produces when panning at certain speeds. After you get a natural feel for what reduces it for your particular camera, you will be able to use muscle memory to keep that speed so that it produces less of that effect (hopefully this makes sense). Some cameras just do better at rolling shutter than others.
@@CliffFennell Yeah i got the a7iv, and it's pretty obvious... Was gonna get a7s3 but wanted the newer camera. I noticed rolling shutter much less at 50fps than 25 too.
@@CraigToddOfficial Yes, but don't let the a7s3 slow you down just because its not new. The rolling shutter on that camera is very good! It's still a beast. Some of the newer cameras are still competing with that one lol... Best of luck!
Crazy dynamic range from HLG in 8 bit also..wow. Nice work

Just one question... How you slow down the footage of SONY A7III in 4K ? As we know SONY A7III has no slow-motion option in 4K. Thank you in advance !

Yes but rarely
@@jebegonzalez im torn between this and the samyang 14mm 1.4 v2 :( the problem with samyang is color fringing and a slight warm tint to the photos.

Can I ask, does anyone know why when panning it can look choppy but in this video is very smooth? Is it to do with codec or frame rate?

@@CliffFennell Thanks very much, so higher frame rates are better to reduce rolling shutter.
