Great tips for someone new to the touch pad. I have HP ENVY x360 since 2 years. I had been using external mouse even though I knew there is touch pad till i am frustrated carrying extra mouse and engaging an external port. Thank you Torogi. This is great
I used to depend so much on the mouse, but I can use the touchpad at ease now. Thanks a bunch! One tip that I just found out: tap Twice to highlight a word and Thrice to highlight a whole sentence.
I have been using Laptop for years, I go crazy when the mouse battery dies. Today Jan. 2021 is the first time I have learned how to use the touchpad. Thank you so much. I guess I can throw away this wireless mouse.
Great! A straightforward answer to my question. Now I can switch the touchpad back on and retire the mouse. I got really frustrated with the fiddly scroll and right-click (my one finger way). Your two-finger drop is brilliant.
If you move to the right on the touch-pad with 4 fingers you can switch desktops. Moving left will get to your previous desktop. It's like pressing Windows+Tab and selecting desktops. Kind of cool in my opinnion.
@Torogi Pro, I've been building Computers since the 1990's and had no idea of these tricks. Wow I feel so personally embarrassed. Lol!! Thanks so much for helping people like myself. Keep up the great work. I'm subscribing and Thumbs upping....Lol. Peace!
i found the controlls not by this video but i learned it by myself somehow, but if your new to Laptop watch this video, I 100% recommend this video if your stuck😃
Thanks man. Just got a laptop from my job working remotely and don't want to be hassled by connecting my mouse wirelessly. No point when you can do it all with your fingers, as you've shown. :)
Ever simce i've gotten my laptop, iIve always used the touchpad with 1 finger and the right click button if i needed it. Thank you for showing me all these gestures!
I had no idea how to right click. Now I know all kinds of things, haha. I'm 33. So I'm young enough I was taught computers in school. Old enough that I've never had experience with a laptop until I decided I wanted one, haha.
OMYG! Thank you so muuuuch. I feel so stupid for not realizing I can make my job easier. If only I have searched earlier in YT. Hahaha. I am guilty of using two hands whenever I navigate using the touchpad, especially with the scrolling up and down, this is life-changing! Thank you so much.
It definitely takes some getting used to. I really hate that the took out the pointing stick. I think the main reason they took this out is when the laptop keyboard gets some more; the pointing stick will often mimic the "B" button. I still miss the old Lenovo T series keyboards. They were the best IMO.
Excellent tutorial, Torogi. Tend to use a Keyboard @ home, but always interested to know more shortcuts. I shall be using these when keyboard is absent.
A really useful one you can set in the additional toucpad settings in Windows is have the 3/4 finger swipe L/R set to navigate forwards and backwards, which saves you from moving your pointer to the top left of the screen to click those small buttons. If you want to know in more detail how to do it just ask
Drop your comments!!! What are your favourite touchpad gestures?
Hey can you just tell me how you created your cartoon portrait (your channel's logo) please.
I want to know how to change your background of your laptop plz
tap four fingers for notifications
3 finger swipe left/right to move forward/backward
hey did u know that if u slide your two fingers to the right, u go to previous page and if u slide to left u go next page
After all these years of suffering you opened my eyes how to scorll with the touchpad
That function I've discover it by mistake and I was like omg
@@ionutioja534 lmfao i keep clicking the toggle switch on the right and dragging. it was magical using 2 fingers
now i no longer need to use an external mouse
Thank you nakatulong
