@@REAPERMania Yip, same but always worth another watch! But yeah, need to update that Master/Slave terminology! Don't usually go for the WOKE stuff but that is kind of from a certain timeframe/state of mind that's not good, especially in USA or even UK etc, wasn't an issue where I'm from, we were the slaves!
Hi! So I asked this on the official reaper Server.... but won't hurt to ask here too. Is there a way to group the channel selection. Like. If I click on Channel X Channel Y is also selected. If I want to make some channels number through with mics for example. So I only have to click on one and then can just select the option for the mics selection.
Is there any way to invert the shift key behavior so that groups only activate when it's held? And are there any functions in Reaper that let me comp multiple tracks at once? Because I'm used to using groups to do that in Pro Tools, but it looks like Reaper's groups don't do that.
Wow, thanks for explaining the capabilities of this feature so thoroughly!
Fantastic.
Many thanks, Kenny.
Thanks!
Kenny, I saw it you are re-publishing a lot of the 'This is Reaper' videos. Are these new and updated tutorials, or still the old ones for v6?
They seem to be the exact same ones
Same ones. RUclips pushes new videos over older ones and I think people need to see these. Real new ones will be coming soon.

This is ripper
Step away from the kiddie sand box, and drop the skittles
It would have been useful to know the advantages of using groups or using busses, but anyway thanks for the video 🙏
Will this group the envelops as well?
That is an option in the grouping parameters
Hate that it's called Master & Slave... seems a little outdated... why not just Parent & Child?
On my version of Reaper they are called Lead and Follow.
First 🎉
I love Kenny Gioia.
