  • Today, we take the most epic journey through the Peruvian countryside! We experience some great hospitality and the most incredible views from the train! We arrive in Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calentes) and take a walk to the base of the mountain to see our first glance of the ruins from below. Don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications if you would like to travel the whole world with us over the next few years! We release a new video every other day!
    We used Hotels.com to score the our hotel at the bottom of Machu Picchu. Being a Gold Member gave us a free upgrade as well as other perks! We want you to get great prices on hotels, too. If you book any hotel through this link below, it will help us out a lot as we will receive a portion of the revenue that would normally go to hotels.com (this will not increase your price): bit.ly/3s7a1js
    About Us: We are Jeremy and Ally. When we met in Los Angeles, we immediately realized we shared a love for working hard and traveling! (We had each been to over 30 countries already when we met!) We married in 2018 and thought we would be a career power-couple who traveled in our free time. Then, we found a way to make this dream happen and travel full time! Thanks for joining us on our epic world adventure!
    We feel SO honored to have you with us as we share experiences from around the globe. We hope this channel is a place of inspiration, exploration, and that you leave our channel feeling better than when you came to visit us here! We love having you and hearing your thoughts, tips, experience, humor and reactions in the comments.

    The train seems to be the new Vistadome line. I don't think it's the Hiram Bingham?

      It is a mixture of classes. They did not have the full Hiram Bingham in operation the day we went up. :)

    Viva la vida y authentic cross cultural experience! Love Ally’s hand clapping, so gracefully gorgeous 🥀and impressed by Jeremy’s progress in Spanish language skills, and the pronunciation ✅is improving. By the way I am looking forward for a celebration vlog moment...Would digital nomads be celebrating like first week, 10th day, first month of their journey, stuff like that...?

    Aren’t the Hiram Bingham Luxury train and the Vistadome two totally different trains? Also about $800 more??

    • @JeremyandAlly

      I think in normal times yes. They split the train and we did a 50/50 train ride up without the dinner service.

    I’m curious for people taking the train to aguas calientes and spending a night which many do. I heard you can’t bring luggages so what do you do with them? Like you said 10 kilos. So do you leave them in Cusco? If so where?

    I have a question about the bimodal transportation. I want to go from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, BUT I wan to explore Ollantaytambo. I am not interested in boarding immediately the train.
    Is that possible or it is like a connecting flight?
    Also how did you purchase the 50/50 train. Travelling in December. Excited as I went to Machu Picchu as a kid and now I am going as a parent.
    Thank you in advance

    • @JeremyandAlly
      @JeremyandAlly  11 месяцев назад +1

      I recommend buying two separate train tickets then. The transfer leaves like 10 minutes from the drop-off for you to walk down hill on the train. No time to explore. We had enough time to buy a coffee to go. You might want to do some extra research as to where you will be dropped off and where you want to visit because the sites in olly are not as easy to walk to.

      Thank you for your time to answer all these questions. I really appreciate it
