@Bro Bro In SSB4 of the 3DS in Smash Run if you break Jigg's shield at the bottom of the map it'll end up almost at the top but doesn't die, assuming it is the same for SSBU

As explained for sonic and megaman, he didn't use two Up special because you can't do it outstage (and the video is about recovery so it wouldn't be relevant). Same goes for Jigg's shield break

Pit & Dark Pit //DaBluePittoo/BlazyKnux Dedede did some intense training thing, he can fly next to the Warp Star Kirby uses for fast fly, Kirby on the other hand flies, but it’s nothing to applaud, let alone it’s not often, that’s what the Warp Star’s for, and Meta Knight CAN fly like a Warp Star as well. But the why, I would better ask how a pair of angels that canonically have absolutely useless wings can flap them to multijump a lot, while two characters known for flying as their idle can only do two jumps and don’t go nearly as high with their recoveries
I think I commented about this last time. YOSHI CAN EGG BOOST TO GAIN MORE HEIGHT BEFORE HIS DOUBLE JUMP. So....

The Winged Pikmin on Olimar's up b get tired if use up b too many times in a row.
I don't know if this is why Olimar went higher with 3 Purples than with 1 Red and 2 Purples but this is the only reason with in-game mechanics that comes to mind.
I don't know exactly what the cooldown on up b is but it should be 10-15 seconds.

Shulk and Kirby
Competitively I think ROB has the best recovery hands down since he can attack 8 times before fuel runs out, has his b-air for horizontal movement and can DAD after his fuel is out. Not to mention spamming B saves fuel but makes him do a weird animation.
@@thecummonster. Nah, he's not hard to edgeguard, especially for people that have a disjoint. The up-b is slow and rob's air mobility is trash, plus, his hitbox is massive. That makes him super vulnerable to swords, snake's nikita / ness' up-b, and people that have good air mobility like inkling since rob's f-air isn't good enough to contest inkling's.

Again, if you wait for the Remote Bomb to explode automatically like you would do with the Bob-omb & the other Links' Bombs, Link will go higher.

Use Egg Throw before & after his midair jump (the second one increases vertical momentum).
*Pikachu & Pichu*
Use *2* rising Thunders to get higher.
*Peach & Daisy*
Again, if Bayonetta is allowed to attack someone with After Burner Kick to use another one, then Peach & Daisy should be allowed to attack someone with Peach Bomber & Daisy Bomber to get higher.
*Marth & Lucina*
Use *2* Dancing Blade jumps to get higher.
*Mewtwo*
Teleport before it reaches the peak of its midair jump to increase vertical momentum.
*Diddy Kong*
Again, if Bayonetta is allowed to attack someone with After Burner Kick to use another one, then Diddy Kong should be allowed to do the same with the Monkey Flip jump attack to get higher.

Make sure PK Thunder 2 is aimed straight up like you did with Ness, so he can get the highest.

Use Side Special and then use midair jump at the peak of its jump to get higher.

Again, if Bayonetta is allowed to attack someone with After Burner Kick to use another one, then Mega Man should be allowed to use Crash Bomber on someone and then touch them to take it for recovery.

Again, if Bayonetta is allowed to attack someone with After Burner Kick to use another one, then Greninja should be allowed to attack someone with Down Air or use Substitute setups to get higher.
*Cloud*
Again, use Limit Charge until it reaches 99% of Limit and then use Limit Charge while midair jumping (it should be fully charged when he jumps and get him higher).

Again, if Bayonetta is allowed to attack someone with After Burner Kick to use another one, then Simon & Richter should be allowed to attack someone with Down Air to get higher.

Well, at least with Olimar, there's only one moveset to deal with - I think that was Jiggles's mindset.
He doesn’t have to leave and return training mode over and over just to get all of Olimar’s heights, not to mention create 6 more Miis for the other heights, and his Pikmin get plucked in order from Red-Blue-Yellow-White-Purple-Red..., so getting the right Pikmin combination isn’t hard, just time consuming

*About the Miis:* I think you should quickly test which down, neutral, and side Bs actually affect the recovery and only include variations for the ones that do. For example:
If *none* of Mii Brawler's neutral Bs affect their recovery, you *don't* need to show all 3 neutral Bs.
If Mii Gunner has *one* down B that makes them go farther up/forwards than the other two, you'd show one for the better one and one for the worse two *(two* total).
If *all* of Mii swordfighter's side Bs go different distances, you'd show all *three*
This would mean instead of doing all 81 variations for each Mii, you'd only have to do 9-15ish (or 3-15ish for vertical) which i think is reasonable considering you're doing all 20 different possible Pikmin weight combinations
I have found something.
Default Kirby, in my testing, can get up to 13.5 blocks high, where Kirby with Grininja's copy ability makes him go up to a little under 15 blocks high by using the ability in the air.

Hey, Pac-Man main here! This might not alter much, but, by my experience, there is a better way to recover with him. It goes:
Jump
Side special upwards
Jump
Down special
Up special, bouncing thrice of course.
The use of the hydrant gives Pac a _little_ bit more height.

For the Miis you should definitely use the movesets optimized for recovery since these videos are all about the characters' maximum potentials.
The straw poll seems to be leaning towards that too.
Maybe you could just make 2 movesets: one for optimized recovery and one for competitive play and specify which one is which

You can get above the yellow line with mewtwo by using his side b
Let me explain, for whatever reason when u side b at the max height of your first jump, then side b just under the max height of your second jump, the second side b won't stop your upward momentum and will cause u to go higher than if you were to do it normally. This can be kinda precise so it might take a few tries

Did you take any of Olimar's measurements consecutively? If so, the Winged Pikmin can get tired and not take you as high.

Sonic can actually go a lot higher. First, use up b on the ground to place a spring. Then, land back on the spring to bounce back up. Then, at the peak of the spring bounce, use a jump and use up b again. After using up b, do an air dodge upwards. You get much more height with Sonic this way.
EDIT: So I've went further in the video and I saw you discussed this very thing. So I guess I have a reason why you didn't use that for Sonic
