you dont need to make every skill point on gunslinger to make her strong most of her pistol skills can stay level 4 and she will still be top damage in your group

Gunslinger is my main alt. It’s been more fun than my main that I got to t3, she’s a sorc. I do enjoy the engraving I’m using that disables shotguns, it’s a lot more fun for me. But that’s just personal play style. I prefer the pistol jump in and out, then rifle from range and repeat.
I chose the gunslinger because I saw their awakening spell on the website (which I didn't know it was or what even awakening spell was) and I thought it looked so cool but was confused as to why I didn't see it in the abilities. I was disapointed but the 3 guns were enough to keep me enjoying the playstyle a lot, and when I got the spell yesterday I was so happy.
There's a minor error regarding your description of quick step - you are able to dash forward and quickly redirect the direction of fire during the second keypress regardless of the initial direction of the dash :)
just a head up, you can change directions on quick step. you can turn 180 degrees after activating the ability. I like to slide through my opponent turn around and BOP them lol
I'm not seeing quick step as an ability anywhere and I'm gunslinger. Am I missing something? I'm at level 16 and just now looking at these guides a bit

Gunslinger has only **one** counter. It's on a shotgun skill, and good luck switching to it fast enough if you're not using the shotgun when the boss goes blue. For this reason I think it's worth having a shotgun centric build setup for content where the boss can 1 or 2 shot you. Guardian Raid in particular is frustrating unless you're way OP, because you can't even stand back and snipe safely, as the monster will leap from right off screen with no warning and squash you. I was okay running missions with a min 80 below my Item Level, but any higher than that is a nightmare in which I can barely stop moving to attack, and dare not gain the aggro, without ending up watching.
i notice after equipping a neckless i lost my shotgun. I read that without shotgun guns and snipre rifle gets boosted. So my question is. Can you run a build without Shotgun? Is it a thing people do? Or is it pointless casue the shotgun gives the extra utility?
Made like 5 classes. Didn't enjoy the playstyle of any of them and almost quit playing the game. Made a deadeye, because I wanted a male character. Love, love, love the playstyle! You can switch whem you want, but your choice will also determine the engravings you go after so I'd recommend trying both of them out and then settling for one
You need an outstanding stone of birth (purpl) stone of births, (the small ones also help but only around ½ of the purpl one) but the purpl one litterly near doubbles your HP, i sit at 9700+ hp on my 390-410 wpn power gunslinger atm. I am just trying to find an endgame viable build that isnt to expensive to setup with her, and i am not sure i like the one showed in this vid.
weakness exposure allows every party member to deal enhanced crit dmg. you take weakness exposure on spiral tracker as well and rotate them for maximum uptime on the debuff for the enemy
I do hesitate between gunslinger and demonic assassin, i love the colorfull visual spell of the demonic but i love the black widow vibes of the gunslinger
@@Nerino second that i started as shadowhunter trasform path and its cool def fun to turn into a demon and just murder stuff but its just.. the same useful moves over and over with fluff between that doesnt really hurt. plus if you wanna get your demon mode constantly you have to sub out a lot of damage in your tripods for the ones that give you double meter gain on hit. oh and it is on hit not on skill use so if you only hit 1 guy with your super meter gain move you still dont really get much. thinking of switching to sorcerer or gunslinger
@@sexypanda1349 switched, played for 10 hours and I will stick with gunslinger. Make sure to bind your switch weapons to mouse buttons, it's really good. I like it a lot more, it's more fun

@@decoi14 Pretty sure that's all it does lol. Just a good ability to dash away while doing a decent amount of DMG. Maybe max leveled it shoots multiple times? But I don't believe so.

class engraving your choice - most people like peacemaker. In terms of battle engravings: grudge, adrenaline, hit master and cursed doll ae all popular and viable.

@@DarNasty96 Mate, I'm playing a Gunslinger right now. It is impossible to just focus on the long range (sniper). Too long cooldowns for abilities. Gunslinger is the most difficult class to play out of all because you need to switch between all 3 stances to maximize dps, not just focusing on one.

Doesn’t really matter when you’re just leveling through the story. Just fool around and try different skills/tripods to figure out what speaks for you. You can change the skillpoints back and fourth for free anyway. The builds starts to really matter only in the endgame. Before that you dont even truly know if a character is the one you want to main or not, so just fool around and vibe while you still can

You are tripping hard . Equilibrium is bread and butter . Also the ''movement stuff'' , are how the GS survives and are part of his rotation , especially given the fact that with the right tripods u get weakness buffs , atk speed , crit etc....oof u dont know anything about gs. There's also literally a whole spec that eliminates the shotgun out of the rotation....

You have to progress story to obtain both awakening abilities.

it's just because of the tripod they chose to use which switches the skill to normal and fires ahead of you so you lose less time when u use it

This is physical damage dealing Invoker. Skill cap is much lower than invoker but still very fun to play.

at end of t1 (600) I had 20k, during t2 I had around 40k hp. The ability stones at each tier have significant vitality on them
Wait i selected the male gunslinger. does that mean i'm gonna have a worse overall character than if i picked the female or something?
The gunslinger is only available on the female. The male has 3 other things.

Ok, so that ability is called a combo ability. To activate the dmg part of that ability you have to press the assigned key (button) again.
Hold the key in thats what I do

Pretty sure you should just be using them while positioning and to apply weakness exploit
you are playing the character wrong then i am guessing that you mostly use normal attacks which you shouldn't be doing with the pistols

Gunslinger is female only. The Deadeye is the closest to the Gunslinger among the male choices. Different skill names though.
