- A quick watercolour painting of a scene from Brisbane City. This is a study of late afternoon sunlight on a well known Brisbane building. Known as the "People's Palace" - the old temperance hotel from the early 20th Century, continues to service travellers passing through this great city. I hope you enjoy this painting. I have been busy on too many other things of late. Hopefully this will be the beginning once again, of more watercolour videos. Hope you like this. Music credits to www.musopen.org Chopin Ballade no. 3, Op 47 in A flat major and Etude Op 10 no. 3 in E major "Tristesse".

Great effort - I I like the way you've done your darks/shadows and preserved your whites/lights - I love this building, it's one of my favourite buildings in Brisbane...

Would have been nice to see the comparison as you proceed.
Nice work, but a dreadful perspective from the views' point of view. After a minute or so, I skipped the technique and went to the finished piece. Is there no way to shoot from over your shoulder?
This was an early video. I learnt my lesson from it....there are many videos following that avoid this angle...cheers
