Beautiful work. I would have love to have seen this in real time no matter how long it took. And at last, if one needed the music at all, music that fits the subject, Chopin! Thank you
Hello Stefan (I read your answer on a comment, that you use to be called Stefan). I discovered this and another video by a chance today. For some years I have been looking at pictures on Pinterest (like John Singer Sargent for example) and learnt a lot from observing, mostly watercolor pictures, which medium attracts me most of all, of some reason which I am not aware of myself. All the good and talented painters I have been studying for thousand of hours are too many to mention. I have not been so dedicated to paint myself, though I have had a strong desire to do so. Today, when I saw your painting videos, was the first time in years I felt a stronger impulse to begin to paint, because everything in the way how you paint, from drawing, to using your brush, to the contrast between dark and light, the beautiful choice of colors, the choice, I suppose, to not be too illustrative, felt almost 100 percent right, in my eyes… as Rumi says, the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder; in this case, my eyes (everyone has a right to his taste and I am judging no one for their taste and choice of art). But, I love (from my heart) your style and feel grateful to you, because you shared your talent and and wonderful creations with all of us who love water color. I will try your technique, maybe with choices of motives from my own environment! I probably have to use my camera more...
Erik Norberg glad my paintings have brought some inspiration to you. Watercolour is one of those mediums that requires an immense amount of " confidence" and "bravado". I am also just at the beginning of my journey. The only way to overcome your fears is to see exactly the process you intend to follow in your head.... then jump straight in! Good luck and enjoy!
Thank you so much for sharing this lesson with us. It's beautiful and amazing . You start with nothing and it transforms before our eyes. This is the first time I have seen your work but I will be looking to see more.I just wish I knew how to pronounce your name.
*_Very good..Watercolor is not easy..but definitely the most satisfying and challenging. I'm "trying" to make the transition from Oils/Acrylics to watercolor...not easy. My fav. artists are Joseph Zbukvic, Alvaro Castagnet, Hermon Pekal ..to name but three...(I like them because of the beautiful loose style they use in their paintings)..I subscribe to your channel..M_*.
Great work!!! I really like the ease at which you put the painting together..It looks effortless but I believe it is all down to hard work..Question...I am just curious about the angle of your painting board and what do you support it with?..Thanks!
Very nice, I have subscribed I hope to see many more like this thank you! I have never seen a full pan travel palette like that where can I find if you don't mind me asking?
Hi Antony. Thanks for subscribing. My aim is to do more of these and record the process of how i put my paintings together. This particular pan was bought on-line from art store in the UK. Jacksons Art Supplies. Around 14 pound sterling.
I'm looking forward to you future videos, thanks for your response. Yes I like the pan very much it's a Frank Herring if I'm correct, I may have to pick one up. Thanks again! And I wish you all the luck, I'll be a loyal follower 😁
No worries. Looking to head over to Krakow soon and spend a few weeks painting in my favourite city. Maybe a few on-site videos. However, I will be taking stacks of pictures....so i'll be laiden with material to choose from for in-studio sessions. Thanks again.
My Gosh, I don't know what I loved more; the painting, the process, or the background music? Combined, well, no words just a breathtaking experience.
Appreciate your comments... many thanks...
Beautiful. Thank you very much for the demonstration.
My pleasure 😊
Superbă compoziție! Felicitări!

Nice work. I look forward to seeing more.
Beautiful work sir. Did you pre-wet the paper or just lay down the initial wash with a loaded mop? It appears the paper was dry. Thank you 🙏
How is your paper not buckling !?! Mine does even though it’s heavy cold press.
It buckled a little bit…. But the trick is to not overwork too much…I paint on 300gsm paper
Love it, really beautiful! (:
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it Katarina.
Beautiful demo and work....a little too fast for me! And would love to see the reference photo or subject. Thank you so much!

Hi Setor, I have a book under the backing surface. The angle is about 10-15 degrees.
What is the brand of that red liner brush ?
Love to see the technique but half way through the video gets blurry
