Nah man. I hate fangs. You think they’ll save you Frome everything, but in reality they won’t. In a nosedive scenario your weaight naturally goes forward. With or without fangs it would still bind and throw you. It’s possible, but you need a lot of experience with controlling your weaight and pulling out of nosedives without fangs. Takes a lot more skill than you’d think. That’s like learning to nose drag in mili seconds
I just traded my gt that I put 600 miles on after a few months for 2 euc and I have already put almost 400 miles on them in less than a month lol definitely glad I made the switch. I plan on buying a cheap pint soon because they do ride different

I bought my used for 1500. The guy spent $2,400 just 6 months previous and I was so pleased that I got a board that worked. I heard a lot of bad things about breaking and ghosting of which I've experienced none I've never had anything other to compare it to but this thing is incredible probably the coolest toy I've ever owned in that chain something

Basically most people buying these are using their own money not their parent's. But One thing that you can think of that might make your father consider purchasing one for you. If it is now available in your market would be to finance it. Monthly payments of $150 or so for 2 or 3 years and you get to ride it before even making your first payment
@@budyutube The fangs are effective on all hard surfaces, they basically minimizes the friction and it will give you time to slow down and re engage. You should watch Bart Miller’s review on them.
Yah man. I got a friend who’s around 250. I’m hoping to go pro soon (so you know I haul ass), and we cruise every day. Skill is what’s really important. He cruises and hauls on trails with a gt. (He actually rides xr normally) I’ve seen him hit 23 on flat roads with an xr, and above 25 on gt. (again that’s with extreme skill don’t recreate without lots of experience) you big boys are always welcome on Onewheels, and if you do get one don’t be discouraged if you don’t have a ton of torque. With good technique you can cruise with anyone.

The XR is the Tank! But the GT had a couple problems when it was launched. Ghosting, overhearing, DOA, and out of round tires. Luckily mine only has a slightly out of round tire haha
that's not how range and battery % work.. lol. range per % charge decreases dramatically the lower the battery is. The range per % is not linear. + other factors such as weight, speed, terrain, etc...
definitely agree, one wheel is better as all-terrain transport for navigating rough/dirt/gravel surfaces. it seems silly not use something more like a eSkateboard or eBicycle/eUnicycle which are much more stable for much higher speeds on smooth surfaces
Quit being a hater just cuz you ain't got too Grand to dump on one of these I've yet to see one comment from someone who purchased it that had any regrets there's a handful of people that like looking like fruit cakes on unicycles and that's fine but it ain't about speed if you want something fast get a race car
What makes this for a kid? People skate at 40 does that make them kids? Kinda weird people can't like what they like and have to "grow up" to a euc as if a Unicycle isn't just as geeky as a skateboard. To each their own lighten up a bit boomer :p
