I believe men’s selfish is more noticeable when we’re pregnant. I am now and his obvious childish and selfish behaviour is what makes me angry. Something clicks along with our hormones. For the preservation of our species, males are supposed to protect and provide for women especially while she’s pregnant. When we don’t see these traits, I think it survival instinct that the partner isn’t fully safe. If it wasn’t apart of our evolution, then so many women wouldn’t be feeling like this.

7 months in the pregnancy so far, have moved out of the house and we've come to the point where according to her it was better if I just stayed away as to not cause her stress which is bad for the baby. The only times I come is to purchase new things or work on the house. No more cuddling nothing, the fights have ruined our family. And against my better judgement and knowledge I still just want to run away and try again for a family of my own who would love me around. I have no clue what to do anymore my life doesn't feel like it's mine anymore, I have no respect or leverage. This is how pregnancy feels from the mans side when the woman is unable to cope with the emotional rollercoasters. It's life changing and heartbreaking. All it feels like now is nodding yes and just doing whatever she wants as to not piss her off and cause her to make it more difficult or impossible to see the child later on.

Wow! These comments brought me back to sanity this morning! It is comforting, somehow, to see many people are having the same feelings as I am. It's like, when I got pregnant I expected him to become nurturing and aware of my needs but when that didn't happen I felt so much sadness and anger. It sucks that I need to adjust my expectations, but it's the only way we will survive. (I need a wife to take care of me.) 😭

Someone once told me "pregnancy brings the truth out" and I couldn't agree more. When a baby is in the picture, a women is already in the process of changing in preparation for a baby. Men are an external factor and unless they are literally going through a pregnancy they won't understand. The change isn't there other than the "I'm having a baby" but most men don't make the emotional changes needed to support their pregnant partners. Women have every right to get upset at the little things because her needs change and a partner needs to learn and change fast just as the women does. More physical affection, more emotional support. Keep pulling through mommas. You're changes are natural and your partner has a responsibility to change and adjust for you in your times of need. Much love.

My gf broke up with me. She got pregnant in September and in December we broke up. Baby is due in June. Everything was perfect in our relationship. I do all the housework, I pay all the bills, I take care of our daughter, pick her up and drop her off at school, constantly ask what she needs and how she feels, make her doctor’s appointments and go with her to them, purchase anything she needs or asks for. And she still treats me like shit. Is this normal? She’s 8 weeks pregnant and has been struggling with morning sickness/extreme fatigue. All I’ve done is try to be there for her every minute of every day. She feels she can’t work, and I never guilted her or made her feel less for that. I took the responsibility on myself and stepped up (even though I was already doing these things, but now I’m REALLY doing everything). I’m tired, but I’m not mad at her for this. I’m just upset at the way she treats me.
I am in the same position. She is in her 17 week and is been a nightmare for me I can’t touch her or even stare at her without her starting a fight and it’s been like this since the beginning of the pregnancy. I just wish he understood, that I'm getting fat, my body is changing in so many ways, I stink faster than I used to, I'm always nauseous, my body hurts, I'm exhausted, I have a toddler all over me all day, and now I'm pregnant and wasn't planning on another baby I don't want to be touched I want alone time and the last thing I want to do after a long exhausting day is have sex. In my case it’s the opposite. I felt my husband distant lately. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and I asked him if he felt like some sort of feeling towards me right now because of the pregnancy. He told me I am and I am sorry but I didn’t know how to tell you .
I don't hate him at all. We don’t fight. But I found his sitting close to me is disgusting. His breathing near me is making me sick. I no longer want to hold hands with him. I tried to avoid him by staying in another room. It’s pure hormone I guess. But Its difficult to tell him that I’m disgusted at him.
It can be pretty normal to be easily grossed out by people, food, etc during pregnancy. But I know it’s hard when you’re having those feelings about your partner. I would just try to emphasize when you talk to him about it that it’s not personal.

It's really important to discuss the roles you want your husband and wife to play, and what is each person's responsibility and contribution to the family. My advice to women is to really sit back and think is this thing really that important that I'm going to blow up about? Probably not. And my advice to men is to do some research like you are now, and do all you can to show that you are capable of running a household 💪🏼 Just my own personal opinion, I don't think I'm attracted to men that need me to wash their laundry, do the groceries, do the house work, raise the children and pay half the bills.
I'm 5 weeks along and I HATE my husband in my SOUL. I'm so serious... I HATE everything about him!!! I believe he's PURE EVIL and literally worships Satan. I don't want to have another baby with him or even raise, the 2 children we already have, with him. I scare myself with the way that I'm feeling because I have an intense urge to walk out the front door with nothing and just walk until I'm tired enough to lay down on the ground and go to sleep and just go missing. I'm so depressed and angry and flooded with resentment all the sudden. I just want so badly for him to hurt inside the way I'm hurting because he doesn't care about anything he's not feeling. The idea of giving him another child makes me want to crawl in hole and stay there.

In my case it's the total opposite. I have no mood swings,cravings or any effects that most pregnant women have.... His the pregnant one and I'm just carrying the bump for him 😂 His extremely moody, has weird cravings, sleeps alot. My sight just irritates him. He suddenly insisted that we break up, it's so emotionally frustrating I don't know what to do anymore and I fear that this will make me end up having a stressful pregnancy... I just found out I was 2 months pregnant. And he claim he’s going to be around. His family not going to let him do that to me. I trust him to be around. So happy to hear it. Anger issues shouldn’t harm the baby as long as you take steps to minimize the stress that anger might trigger. For example, meditation, yoga, or seeing a counselor ♥️

When my bf is trying to “be there for me” as much as possible while I just can’t help but find it so annoying and clingy. I know it comes off as super cold and compared to other people’s unfortunate situations where the father doesn’t even care at all, I should be more grateful but I feel like I need looooots of space. He wants me to be super horny during this time and I’m just like no… please no… do not touch me I have never felt the opposite of horny so strongly. I don’t feel like talking to anyone because it’s overwhelming and I just want to eat, workout, and do and watch everything on my own terms. mohamed saghir it can be a number of reasons, when women are pregnant there going threw a really tough time dealing with hormones cravings body changes, worries, insecurities, feelings are all over the place if she feels that you are insensitive to what she is going threw she might not want to talk to you it can be other personal reasons, but just try to understand her and support when she is around as for some advice having cravings to certain foods and not being able to eat those foods can be frustrating within itself, some women like myself will crave for food but when I get them I no longer want them and I want something else, sometimes I get my craving and it takes a while for me to eat them because it feels heavy on my stomach and I become really nauseous ext. there’s pretty much alt to it, it can become really complicated the best thing you can do is go with the flow give her, her space but also let her know that you are there by checking up on her asking her if she is ok and if she needs anything.
Im going through this thing where , I’ll do the 29-30 things she asked and I miss one and she’s PISSED! I didn’t clean good enough, but I’m still cleaning. I didn’t grab the right item. Bailey, right now my partner is about 5 months pregnant with our third. She and I have stopped talking or looking at each other for 6 days. She wants nothing to do with me in her life. When the kids come home from daycare we essential behave as if the other person is invisible. It's awkward and painful. I work 6:00am -5:30 pm and my wife got mad at me for asking her on a date and said it was a waste of gas and that I think my job is harder than hers and I just wanted to spend time with her and I got soo mad at this swing in mood I went and did outdoor work for the rest of the evening.

This is a totally normal reaction for many pregnant women. While it’s not fun to feel this way about your partner, these feelings often subside after you have the baby and your hormones eventually balance out.
Today i stoped talking to my husband, i was feeling alone from inside, actually he take care of me, he will help me in work, but he is not spending time with me, he is always with his phone,, so i was feeling so bad nd i am feeling alone, so i stopped talking to my husband, nd i was avoiding him😢

I’m really sorry you’re both going through this. If possible, give her space, but still reach out offering support. You could also suggest couple’s counseling if you thing she’d be open to that. Hopefully, after the baby arrives, she might have a change of heart.

The reaction she’s having can be totally normal. It sounds like you’re doing the best that you can by giving her space and just letting her know that you’re there when she needs you. Hang in there! Things should get better after she has the baby.
Dynamics between partners during pregnancy can get really tricky. Often, pregnant women need a lot of space and time to rest. I would try your best not to take her moods personally, but I know that can be difficult! Wishing you both the best.

7 months in the pregnancy so far, have moved out of the house and we've come to the point where according to her it was better if I just stayed away as to not cause her stress which is bad for the baby. The only times I come is to purchase new things or work on the house. No more cuddling nothing, the fights have ruined our family. And against my better judgement and knowledge I still just want to run away and try again for a family of my own who would love me around. I have no clue what to do anymore my life doesn't feel like it's mine anymore, I have no respect or leverage.
This is how pregnancy feels from the mans side when the woman is unable to cope with the emotional rollercoasters. It's life changing and heartbreaking. All it feels like now is nodding yes and just doing whatever she wants as to not piss her off and cause her to make it more difficult or impossible to see the child later on.
I’m so sorry you and your family going through that. I really hope you all get some relief after the baby comes. If you don’t I would definitely recommend some couples counseling - it’s amazing how much it can help.

Someone once told me "pregnancy brings the truth out" and I couldn't agree more. When a baby is in the picture, a women is already in the process of changing in preparation for a baby. Men are an external factor and unless they are literally going through a pregnancy they won't understand. The change isn't there other than the "I'm having a baby" but most men don't make the emotional changes needed to support their pregnant partners.
Women have every right to get upset at the little things because her needs change and a partner needs to learn and change fast just as the women does. More physical affection, more emotional support.
Keep pulling through mommas. You're changes are natural and your partner has a responsibility to change and adjust for you in your times of need. Much love.

I do all the housework, I pay all the bills, I take care of our daughter, pick her up and drop her off at school, constantly ask what she needs and how she feels, make her doctor’s appointments and go with her to them, purchase anything she needs or asks for. And she still treats me like shit. Is this normal? She’s 8 weeks pregnant and has been struggling with morning sickness/extreme fatigue. All I’ve done is try to be there for her every minute of every day. She feels she can’t work, and I never guilted her or made her feel less for that. I took the responsibility on myself and stepped up (even though I was already doing these things, but now I’m REALLY doing everything). I’m tired, but I’m not mad at her for this. I’m just upset at the way she treats me.

It can be pretty normal to be easily grossed out by people, food, etc during pregnancy. But I know it’s hard when you’re having those feelings about your partner. I would just try to emphasize when you talk to him about it that it’s not personal.

It's really important to discuss the roles you want your husband and wife to play, and what is each person's responsibility and contribution to the family. My advice to women is to really sit back and think is this thing really that important that I'm going to blow up about? Probably not. And my advice to men is to do some research like you are now, and do all you can to show that you are capable of running a household 💪🏼
Just my own personal opinion, I don't think I'm attracted to men that need me to wash their laundry, do the groceries, do the house work, raise the children and pay half the bills.
I'm 5 weeks along and I HATE my husband in my SOUL. I'm so serious... I HATE everything about him!!! I believe he's PURE EVIL and literally worships Satan. I don't want to have another baby with him or even raise, the 2 children we already have, with him. I scare myself with the way that I'm feeling because I have an intense urge to walk out the front door with nothing and just walk until I'm tired enough to lay down on the ground and go to sleep and just go missing. I'm so depressed and angry and flooded with resentment all the sudden. I just want so badly for him to hurt inside the way I'm hurting because he doesn't care about anything he's not feeling. The idea of giving him another child makes me want to crawl in hole and stay there.

When my bf is trying to “be there for me” as much as possible while I just can’t help but find it so annoying and clingy. I know it comes off as super cold and compared to other people’s unfortunate situations where the father doesn’t even care at all, I should be more grateful but I feel like I need looooots of space. He wants me to be super horny during this time and I’m just like no… please no… do not touch me I have never felt the opposite of horny so strongly. I don’t feel like talking to anyone because it’s overwhelming and I just want to eat, workout, and do and watch everything on my own terms. He doesn’t even like my fav shows or Thai food so I sort of have to be alone to enjoy those things. I’m at 6 weeks. Probably hormones. Or maybe I know deep down that once the baby is born I will have to sacrifice my beloved alone time lol like just let me be alone for now.

mohamed saghir it can be a number of reasons, when women are pregnant there going threw a really tough time dealing with hormones cravings body changes, worries, insecurities, feelings are all over the place if she feels that you are insensitive to what she is going threw she might not want to talk to you it can be other personal reasons, but just try to understand her and support when she is around as for some advice having cravings to certain foods and not being able to eat those foods can be frustrating within itself, some women like myself will crave for food but when I get them I no longer want them and I want something else, sometimes I get my craving and it takes a while for me to eat them because it feels heavy on my stomach and I become really nauseous ext. there’s pretty much alt to it, it can become really complicated the best thing you can do is go with the flow give her, her space but also let her know that you are there by checking up on her asking her if she is ok and if she needs anything.

And suddenly she’s going through the pregnancy alone or I don’t care about our baby.
She asked me a question that my response if honest is going to piss her off. But I have to respond.
She can cruse, call me the worst things. And I just gotta sit there. I’m not saying anything mean or nasty. It’s just not in me to talk to my woman that way.
But what the heck do I do.
Bailey, right now my partner is about 5 months pregnant with our third. She and I have stopped talking or looking at each other for 6 days. She wants nothing to do with me in her life. When the kids come home from daycare we essential behave as if the other person is invisible. It's awkward and painful. I tried to talk to her but i'm ignored, she has an intense look of hatred on her face. We are not married but for the past 2 years our relationship has dwindled to just 2 adults taking care of kids. Toxic interaction between her and I. No love, no basic respect, no romance, nothing, cold as ice. I'm nothing more than a live-in nanny & handyman. Should I accept that our relationship is dead and move out? Or keep beating this dead horse of a relationship?
I’m so incredibly sorry to hear you’re both going through that. I would highly recommend seeing a couple’s counselor. There are now many affordable services that can connect you with therapists across the country that offer sessions via zoom.

I work 6:00am -5:30 pm and my wife got mad at me for asking her on a date and said it was a waste of gas and that I think my job is harder than hers and I just wanted to spend time with her and I got soo mad at this swing in mood I went and did outdoor work for the rest of the evening.

iam going threw so much right now. my gf is one minute loving the next she wants me out and not be together. she's getting upset over the littlest things. we have a son on the way in 9 days and she's saying she doesn't want to be with me. she never was this way before she was pregnant. God I really pray it's hormones n the pregnancy.

This is a totally normal reaction for many pregnant women. While it’s not fun to feel this way about your partner, these feelings often subside after you have the baby and your hormones eventually balance out.
Today i stoped talking to my husband, i was feeling alone from inside, actually he take care of me, he will help me in work, but he is not spending time with me, he is always with his phone,, so i was feeling so bad nd i am feeling alone, so i stopped talking to my husband, nd i was avoiding him😢

He's so irritating also the fact he has other kids from his ex wife . He doesn't know how to communicate or draw boundaries. I'm 3 months pregnant with his baby and lately he just pisses me off

I’m really sorry you’re both going through this. If possible, give her space, but still reach out offering support. You could also suggest couple’s counseling if you thing she’d be open to that.
Hopefully, after the baby arrives, she might have a change of heart.

The reaction she’s having can be totally normal. It sounds like you’re doing the best that you can by giving her space and just letting her know that you’re there when she needs you. Hang in there! Things should get better after she has the baby.
