Thanks I'm going to build a pedal board soon I watch the video to find something I haven't seen before like the Freak out pedal that's cool 😎
Have a good day from a Rocker
Awesome. Always wonderful to meet a fellow Rocker. 👍 Yeah that Freqout pedal is the real deal. I absolutely love it.
@@SaintLuminus thanks
Does the Plethora go in to the effects loop of your amp?
The Plethora goes into the front of my amp. Right now I’m only using the Sub n Up algorithm. There’s a lot that pedal can do, I’ve barely scratched it’s surface.
I wouldn't have put the freqout behind the plethora. It's sits much to far and below the height of your plethora cables for you to be able to use the freqout switch. Also, the plethora might be easier to operate (Mash) if it was at the bottom of your pedalboard instead of so far and up behind. What is your personal experience with this board ? I was considering almost the same setup. Hope you see no offense here. It's just my own opinion without having tried your layout. Thanks for all the info!
That's true, you have not tried my layout nor know how I use it for my music. It doesn't matter where I put the freqout, its always turned on. BUT its in a loop in the gigrig switcher. I simply tap and hold a button on the gigrig to get the feedback. The ricochet is placed where it is because I use that waaaay more than the Plethora. I don't really use the Mash functions much, and I probably should. Since my pedalbaord is angled and not flat, the buttons are still easily accessible. So if I want to use MASH, its easy enough to get to because the pedalboard is not flat, it sits at an angle. Lookup the Voodoolab pedalboards. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
@@SaintLuminus I will! thank you so much for the nice answer. Yes these boards look awesome. I went to the music shop today but honestly I learned much more by looking at your videos and videos from other channels than by talking to the 'professionnals' over there. It was a waste of time. I'm also curious as to know if the plethora gets much use. What music do you play in general? I used to play rock, blues and funky songs, but I have the feeling this pedal would inspire me to visit new territories. I don't play in a band anymore and I get a bit bored of playing with backing tracks. I plan on using loopers for some ambient stuff. Thanks a ton for the infos. Take good care man.
@@RenoLaringo my music is a mixture of Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Tycho. The Plethora is wonderful but I don’t use it to its full potential. What you don’t see is a Kurzweil KSP8 which I use for my effects. However if I were to play in someone else’s band, I wouldn’t use the KSP8. The pedalboard would to just fine and the plethora would get more use with delays and verbs. Right now the plethora goes into the front of my amp.
Thanks for the video. May I ask you some questions? 1) was the plethora connected to the Amp FX Loop? How did you get the stereo sound? Many thanks
The Plethora is connected to the front of the amp in mono. The amp is connected to a loadbox, then I take the line out of the loadbox to a small mixer where I mix in stereo effects. The stereo mix goes to a stereo SS amplifier then on to two speaker cabs. There's other ways to achieve stereo but this is how I did it when I made this video.
@@SaintLuminus Thanks a lot for your reply. I was thinking of connecting the Plethora to the FX Loop of my mono ampli and then sending to the PA the stereo out of the Plethora3 (enriched with the embedded cab rig sim) and using the cabinet of the ampli as my monitor.
@@alessiograziani6355 You still have to have a return to the amp or you won’t get any sound to the cab.
I have redone my stereo rig using two amps and the Fx loop. I plan on doing a vid on that soon
@@SaintLuminus ok, I'll wait for this video, because I really like your sound in this video. Many thanks again
