The Christmas break brings some clarity to the GTT plan!!
In this video series I decided to take a shot at buying a cheap "hot hatch" at auction online, it was 250 miles away and listed as "flood damage". No power, no history, no hope?? Project R53 "GTT" is go!

I also have a Mini cooper s r53 2005 model in very good nick 118800km on the oddo... Just a hoot to drive and bang for buck... Love your video of all the mods fitted in detail and the power she puts down with all that mods.. Not many dyno runs on R53... Waiting on your next Video.

Just wondering what kind clutch option available for Cooper S R53 manual?
LUK (622304600) 3 piece clutch kit was the kit I used for this and seems to handle this BHP power well 👍

How do you know if you have a genuine gtt car? Are gtt cars worth more
Well my understanding is that the GTT badge was/is only available with certain kits/mods you buy from GT Tuning however the package "name plates" that replaced where the word "Mini" is on the rocker cover of the engine were only available on the GTT package cars... This one for example is GTT 240 and if you Google the package name you can see the history of what was installed on the GT Tuning website. These packages are no longer available it appears.
Whether it makes the car worth more or not... I couldn't say!
I’m running 248bhp with 550cc injectors, Newman ph2 cam, 16 percent pully, airbox, miltek exhaust and manifold so that’s about right bud
Very nice! Good to know that 👍 We'll be heading back to the dyno soon for a re-tune and maybe trying some different intakes since I have a few laying around 👀
Mine made 245 with a big valve head, 5bhp more than one of the most successful r53 race cars ever with all the mods including bvh. Woyld probably make 270 on these dynos.
All dynos horses are equal, just that some dynos horses are more equal than others. 😂
