- Well, I did it in Paris on 8 November 2016...so now its London's turn to have all its Underground lines compiled into one glorious video. I filmed this on Tuesday 29 November 2016. Note that I filmed both the District and Hammersmith & City lines at Stepney Green. Also please note that I have posted some of the stations on this video as separate videos.

We showed this to my 2.5yo son last month, because with Covid, we can’t get back to the U.K. to see family. He loves this video, asks for it almost daily now, and it’s been lovely to show him something of London that’s right up his street.
Thank you all for watching. Glad your young son enjoys the video.

Greetings from USA/America all the subway stations in London look so much better then most of the subway stations in New York City.
I have to agree, the Jubilee Line makes the most pleasing sound!
Love but you know it the youngest among the rest....
@@mstevens832 Actually the Victoria and ‘sub-surface’ lines are younger now :)
@@mstevens832 Nope the Victoria Line is the youngest Lemme tell you Bakerloo is 1972, Piccadily is 1973, Northern Line is 1995, Jubilee is 1996 and victoria is 2009 idk about the s7 or s8 stocks love..
Going to London in a few days cant wait to ride the tube again

Thank you very much for this excellent introduction to all LUL lines, infrastructure and rolling stock differences that i now could understand even better than on my short first visit to the capital of UK days ago relying on Victoria line to travel between Euston train station and the boroughs of Westminster and Lambeth.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you for sharing, I just found a 5% off code for uk train tickets a few days ago just let me know if anybody need it
Nice clock at Bethnal Green. Nice Pat Butcher voice doing the "Please stand back be'ind the yellow line" too.
Just as well since Eastenders is set close by :)
Jubilee line and Victoria line are amazing sounds
Look up for modernized metro line m3 budapest they have a similar sound (a bit similar in fact but statisfying)
My favourite 3 sounds:
1) jubilee
2) victoria
3) northern (miles better in person)

Thank you very much for the video. :)
Something about watching the underground is so calming, I don't know what?
If I went to an underground train ride, I will just stare at my phone
But it if you are there in real life you will notice that it will be a little bit hard to breathe

I absolutely love the colour scheme of the tube trains and believe they make them gorgeous. I can't believe they went a different route for the crossrail trains.
Because Crossrail isnt part of the London Underground.
@@CrazyInWeston Yes, it is. They called it the Elizabeth line and put it on the tube map. It also uses London Underground's iconic roundel logo at each station.
@@christopherkotsopoulos701 The roundel is Purple. Bit like Londons DLR using torquise and the Tram using Green.
Crossrail is a separate entity not part of TfL or the London Underground.
Actually, it's owned and will be operated by TFL. Presumably a fare that is paid for any of the LU lines will get you onto the Elizabeth line for free within the appropriate zone.

Seriously London’s train stations are exceptionally clean as opposed to NYC subway!
Only the ones around the city central. The rest of them are pretty dirty and you do see rats
Best Metros in:
•London: looks
•Paris: efficiency
• Los Angeles: non-existency

Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
Thankyou ,feeling lucky to see video withouttravelling2London. 23.36 minutes ,
What a great video of the tube!
I’ve been on the London Underground! I have been on almost every single line (except the London Overground if that counts). My favourite line is the Jubilee Line, because it reminds me of my favourite Underground Ernie character: Jubilee. Because he reminds me of myself.
the London overground isn't a part of the London Underground however it is still part of TFl(Transport for London) so it still only runs through London.
What about Warwick avenue, what line is that on?

Karel Odhradil.....you can’t blame people these days. We live in scary and fearful times. She was acting instinctively. Yes it’s very sad but we humans have betrayed each others trust to the point where we try to protect ourselves at all costs

Jubilee and bakerloo and central lines make amazing sounds
After watching videos of both systems, i have come to this conclusion:
London: MIND THE GAP!
NYC: STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS!
They also use the last part in London.
Get yourself down to the Northbound Northern Line at Embankment for the original 'Mind The Gap' announcement.
And in Indian metro
Please stand away from the doors.

What is the difference between hammersmith & city line and circle line
It’s good that this underground in the UK is much cleaner, safer, quieter and the tap water in the water fountains are much fresher than NYC subways

2nd Jubilee Line Driver Closed Doors Wen It Was Still Saying This Train Terminates At Stratford
So what?
Why I can hear 1996 stock's motor at the Metropolitan line section?
because at finshely park on the other side there is the jubliee line. The metropolitan line is the s stock aswell as the circle, partial of the district line etc etc.
look at 12.53 on the left there is a jubliee line billboard and thats the 1996 stock you are hearing :)
The jubilee is making noise
Manjot_vlogsYT Arora it has the best motor sound

I'd like to see some overground stations and terminal stop also dlr.
I love Angel station so deep there are so many escalators.
When you were at Blackhorse Road station, i thought we would see the Overground line as well.

I remember from my trip to London, Piccadilly station have crazy gap between train and platform, I hardly went from train...
I lived in London and central line was my line. The best!
Jubilee is my favourite line
Ninyo Plays same! It has the best sound
Jimmy Miller same for the central line
I like the bakerloo and Victoria line

One of our local railway stations has a floor of smooth tiles, my high heeled sandals slipped so much on it, the tiles almost trapped my sandals on a ramp when I tried walking up it. The tiles did look nice though. 😋😋
Overground is so great
This is given me a great idea I'm gonna do this myself film every line on the London Underground , are they alright with people filming tho someone let me know
AlexTrainspotterHD they are ok as long as it doesnt affect someone else
Hey voxley19, have you ever wondered why the tube trains have different sounds as they move?
They were built in different times, so they use different traction motors, therefore having different sounds
Great work....Epic images....Big like & subscribe from Romania....Thumbs up!!!
I really love the London Underground!
Wish we had this in New York.
Idk why but the sound of the 92 stock on loud rails makes an amazing combo
bakerloo and Piccadilly are my favourite lines.
They both have the oldest stock making the Most Nostalgic sound . Thats why I prefer them, too . Unfortunately WE cant hear it anymore on District line like in this Video due to the Replacement of its stock.
@@matthiaswaetjen2826 I miss the old, deep-sounding trains. The old District line is gone and soon the Bakerloo and Piccadilly ones will be replaced too
I miss london badly , I spent my childhood there. The last time I saw these lines was 7 months ago while going to the airport! :(

What happens if you stand on the black thing where the train comes on

The black thing, is called a rail, and they have thousands of volts of electricity. But are covered in metal. If an underground train comes, it will electrify, squash and cut you to death in less than a second
