I actually used to hear that sound a lot when traveling on *my* metro system. Don't hear it anymore, though and I don't know why. Sounded like you were running over a bunch of ghosts.

The Jubilee Line is way better than the Hammersmith and City Line and the noise of the Jubilee Line is SO LOUD once it heads for Baker Street
