A Morning Sunrise on the Salt Flats with the Jeeps

We drove out for a sunrise mission to Bonneville during our time in Utah and it was well worth the wake up call. Here are some of my favorite shots of the morning as we settled down for the long dawn ahead.

Love ittt. How rowdy does the handling get with the spare on the roof? I’m having 275s put on and I’m trying to figure out the best spot for the spare
So far, it’s night and day from having the old setup. The tire and wheel are probably about 100 pounds. The old rack attachments and tent alone topped 160 plus anything else we threw up there. This is also on a lower profile rack. So it’s a bit more tame.
Haven’t had a lot of miles on the roof but going to get a better sense of it over the next month.
