    Looks great. Exactly what I am looking to do to mine - avoid cutting and trimming wheel wells while “Jeeping it up” a bit Thanks for sharing details on spacers and resulting ride and noise with the set-up as that is reason Jeep has sold millions of these - capability and comfort. Thanks for sharing. Was wondering if you could get same results with simply using rough country level kit in front - did you learn anything about that as you were doing your research? Are the Falkens LT or P metric?

    • @MiketheBIC
      @MiketheBIC  3 года назад

      Thanks! No, I really didnt research the leveling kit as my Jeep has almost 80k miles. So, I knew it was time for shocks and struts anyway.

    Finally somebody posted a video on this. I got the RC spacer lift and ive been doing a lot more trailer riding. Im coming up on close to 70k and starting to look into changing out shocks and springs. I have this RC kit but havent seen or heard anyone speak of them. It was either going to be this or BILSTEIN 5100s with HEMI WK2 springs. What is your opinion on the RC kit? Have you been on the trail with them, does it soak up the bumps pretty good? Thanks for the video and any further info! Jeep looks great.

    • @MiketheBIC
      @MiketheBIC  3 года назад +1

      Thanks! Yeah, thats why I posted. So, overall, Im happy. One of the front drivers strut assemblies started rattling pretty bad. Took it to shop and the said it was strut. RC QUICKLY made it right though, and I got it switched out. I did take it on a trail with some pretty decent climbs. Did great overall, but the back was a little "clunky". Im going to let them wear in and try again!

    • @MiketheBIC

      I had one faulty strut. They did replace, but its not an easy job. Secondly, let's say I drive slowly off of a curb or do some very light off roading: the system seems to bottom out hard on even the smallest obstacles.

    DO NOT get the Rough Country kit that comes with the N3 Shocks and struts (SKU#91430). Get the plain spacer kit (SKU#60300)! I installed the shock/strut kit on my 2016 GC Limited, and those struts and shocks are junk. I just bought a 2021 Limited X, and I installed the plain spacer kit. Way cheaper, and no shock, strut, or spring issues. Rough Country shocks are not as good as they were 25 years ago. They are junk.
