So...this is A Holden V 8 super car. It is fitted with A Chevrolet, based 5 liter engine, Rev limited to 7500 rpm, electronically. To a multi plate 7.25" clutch unit. Driving a Hollinger 6 speed {non syncro} "dog Box", to A ford 9" based differential, that is drive locked. He does not have to clutch on 1 to 2 shift but does. All other up shifts are with full throttle, applied. He is bliping the throttle, on downloads, to match engine revs to gearbox/drive speed.
I’m 🇬🇧 (pommie b******) but I love this series. The roars of these monsters and IMO a lot more skill than most series. Gotta be so close in terms of timing and taming these beasts.
The way he punches that clutch

I forgot............there is a strain gauge in gear lever, to effect a rev cut, upon movement of it.
God and Hrt only knows what that engine actually has in it... love the sound of it... and is this the 045 vx commodore?
@@mr.sunnyg5510 nah don't think it's 045 as I read that it's last outing was somewhere in 2004 in VY trim
@@rickysimoes2304 ahh true, still a bloody good lookin holden.
@@mr.sunnyg5510 yes it is mate, in my opinion the 05/06 HRT cars were some of the best looking out of their fleet
