Gotta say man I've been following your channel for a little while now and i love your style and all the old revivals you do. The channel name fits the content perfectly, your not trying to be some one your not, not trying to make jokes that aren't funny, just straight to the point this is what I'm doing, this is how you do it and thx for watching lol.
This has been my favorite RUclips channel for awhile. Great to see other people out there who love working on things. Chris's advantage is he can film, narrate, and edit. Hoping we can see a personal garage and transition to full-time NNKH.
I grew up in the country in Ohio, riding 4 wheelers dirtbikes, and my first vehicle was a 91 Jeep Wrangler. So I was always riding fields, woods, train tracks, crashing around in the snow, and I moved to Southern US, huge city, and I don't like it. I miss this kind of life and the freedom of it so bad. This video seriously took me back and brought me joy watching you because I know how much fun it really is. Be grateful you still have the opportunity to do things like this because when you lose it you miss it terribly
Great video. Reminds me of my days in Colorado Springs at the USAF Academy playing in the snow. Don't feel bad about playing and not working all the time. You have to stop and smell the Roses every once and a while. I have never had any regrets about taking time out to enjoy life it goes by so fast. You won't be saying, I wish I had gone there and experienced this or that. I enjoy watching You and Jen on your adventures.. Keep up the good work. Thanks. J.T. Beck
Gotta love your content man. The battery disconnect is always a great deal, may be a better idea to even hide the disconnect so only you know where it is to start the machine, making it harder to steal. NNKH
Always amazing to see the methods you use to determine the source of an issue bud. Process of elimination. Learning with entertainment. The new education system. NNKH
Made my wife walk home from the woods after I got my 94 Cherokee SE stuck while mildly aggressive wheelin'. Yeah, once. I did that once dude. Jen rocks, ya'll rock. High five !!
Man, if you checked out tomorrow, you could say you lived a full life! Don’t think Jen would’ve enjoyed that last ride. Keep up the great work/play, I can’t get enough!
I've found your video's by watching Andrew's channel and glad I have, I'm a backyard mechanic and enjoy watching your projects. I now live in Fl. but lived around Allentown, Pa. for years. Keep up the good work.
I have enjoyed your videos immensely. I have used the information from your videos to fix my boat and my brother’s car. Keep up with the videos. Thanks.
Chris - I have enjoyed watching your videos, you always amaze me how you can fix anything. You inspire me to get out in the garage and work on my project cars. Keep up the great content! PS - Jen is a great singer, would be awesome to hear more of you two playing/singing. NNKH

Tractor Matt, you’re right about that disconnect, great idea. My Kawasaki has to stay on the trickle charger. Pain. Disconnect would solve the problem. NNKH😉
Gotta have some fun, otherwise it's just work work work and that's not living, Jen is a good sport, she got cold and had to walk home and still spoke to you
Dude, 37 minutes in, that snow drift was legit! Lol. Looked fun driving through after you got unstuck.....hey don’t forget you can just pace out and multiply by 3 for quick distance reference. That way you’re not trying to use your feet and taking all that time and awkwardness. 😂
We had some Kawasaki mules at work in the summer the hard tops would roast you from the heat. I found some camo burlap and had an upholsterer sew a hem around the edges and put snaps in the roll bars and the hem. Worked great.
Love this, I bought an old metal car roof rack and mounted it on the roof. Bought some plastic ammo boxes and that is where I store all my extra stuff now, tools, ropes etc. Leaves the box open for other stuff like a chainsaw. So much fun..
Chris, I really enjoy watching your videos (on both channels). You've got a great "any man" approach that makes your content very relatable while still remaining informative, entertaining and just fun to watch. Keep doing what you're doing man, it's awesome watching you progress! NNKH

When I bought my used Rhino 660 the seller pointed to the winch and said "You notice that has never been used?" "Yea" "That's because to get this thing stuck you gotta be TRYING to get it stuck." I replaced Yamaha's resonator (noise amplifier) with a muffler for a big generator. That took it from obscenely loud to merely loud. Haven't seen any performance issues. It was worth doing.
I added a Battery disconnect to my old sportsman's 500 bend stuck in the woods when the rope pull broke Haven't been stuck yet Great job keep them coming
As a owner of a Rhino i loved watching the rebuild (i'm about to do mine same way). I will say after riding trails and mud with other newer machines by Honda and Kawi, they have big downsides besides the wider wheel base restricting access in narrows. They also come with automatic power and traction control which can by themselves get you stuck since you can't apply full power unlike the rhino, and they don't have ground clearance stock unless you purchase mods to jack them up which then you struggle with bending longer linkages. I've run into trees with the front wheels and doesn't hurt it. The Rhino speed is limited in accordance to its wheel base. Any faster and rollover hazard go up rapidly.
We have a Rhino 450 bought new when they first came out and it has had only minor issues (fuel sending unit, starter, fuel vent hose (mud daubers nest)),It goes anywhere any season on our 50 acres here in Southern Indiana. I buried my John Deere compact front tires to the front axles (its 4 wheel drive and was stuck solid) my wife used a heavy strap and the rhino iwith the diff engaged pulled me right out. Another time two dudes were picking up a heavy load of metal trash that was years old in a low swampy area near the woods they had a long trailer and a chevy dually and got stuck. She hooked up the rhino and drug them out. I was on the road driving a semi back from Texas. Really enjoyed your tips and tricks so this will be my winter project in the garage. Make the rhino great again ! Thanks.
I love my Rhino. It is old and slow like me . A couple of months ago I drove it through some mud that a 2020 mile with a lift and way bigger tires than I had. They are good machines for what they are.
Made a lunch box heater for my buddies rhino. He has canvas doors and a mostly sealed cab. I took a heater core from a jeep and mounted it in a tin lunchbox. used a 12v heater fan blowing through the lunch box and used some heater hose and teed it into the radiator lines. It blows at the front window to defrost it, and it has 2 steel elbows pointing at the floor. Its not super hit like a car but it defrosts his window and actually keeps it kinda warm.
Great vidio Chris the snow adventure was awesome! Jenny is a real trooper but girls usually don't do well when they are cold. I grew up snowmobiling thanks for the memories.
As Always pleasure to watch someone working hard, seriously I relay enjoying to watch yours footage very pragmatic and common sense mechanics and always can learn something new NNKH :)
My father had that same model fury when I was a kid. Made around 800hp. Lost it to a fire due to power steering fluid hitting the headers from a blown hose. Love what you are doing to that one NNKH
Damn, crazy about the fury. Yeah that's a terrible fate. I should probably throw a fire extinguisher under the hood and in the cabin. Of every vehicle for that matter
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow definitely a good practice. Now all our race vehicles are equipped with one. He lost about 20k in that fire and insurance wasn't very helpful on a hot rod lol.

As usual a very well done and informative video. Incidentally, me and my siblings spent several years in a very poor running, no cold starting 1972, Plymouth Fury wagon. With the help of 20-20 hind sight, I realize that poor thing was just struggling to run with the poorly designed old school emissions equipment. My mother got a work out just starting that thing on cold winter mornings! NNKH
Thanks for the great content. Your comment about "having too much fun and less productivity"... well I disagree. You put in lots of effort and time to revive these machines. Enjoy the fruits of your efforts. Great job, as always. NNKH
Watching you take the exhaust out was like playing tetras, and we don't have Beavers here in Australia, so to see the tree like that blew my mind, that was a pretty round tree, and it looked like fun in the snow, great video, NNKH 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘Cheers from Melbourne Australia
I cannot imagine how you’d go about correcting your parasitic draw. Interesting way to set it off to the side for now with the switch. Andrew would appreciate the ingenious addition (ok now that’s done, let’s do another project) Love your positive spirit, love the will it run again. Wish I knew a tiny portion of what you’ve learned. Just starting and thanks for that. Best Regards NNKH
Your skills and resourcefulness continue to impress me. Jen always has a smile on her face, except maybe when you got stuck. But she isa,joy to watch. Keep up the great videos.
Great fixit video. Good upclose shots to see exactly how to/what to look for. Bringing back old iron old boats HUGE APPLAUSES. Wish there was someone there to give ya a hand for the heavy stuff n brake pumpin. MORTSKI gets mad watches just for the Duff commentary.
I really like the explanation and how to go about a parasitic draw I've struggled with that at times trying to use a voltmeter and what I finally ended up doing is just using a test light checking the fuses then just tracing the wires back after I found what's fuse it was if it was feasible and if it wasn't just putting a whole new wiring harness in which was a pain in the ass but watching you the way you go about doing it using a voltmeter especially a digital one sure does make it a lot easier and ice swear by the battery cutoff switch and I will tell you why I used to drive freightliners the newer ones and those have a lot of computers on them they're always active even with the key shut off and we were having problems with batteries draining over a period of time because those computers wouldn't completely shut off so we put the factory put a battery disconnect switch in and that also helped and keeping the truck from getting stolen because if you didn't know about the battery cutoff switch you couldn't start the truck even trying to hotwire so thank you
This has been a great channel to find recently. I really appreciate your in depth explanations and even though I don’t own one of these machines, I love learning your troubleshooting methods. You do a great job, Chris! Keep it up! nnkh
Rhinos are a blast I had one. The only problem for me was I am tall and it was uncomfortable keeping my foot on the gas. Get a danforth boat anchor, they work great for hooking into ground or just about anything to winch yourself out. Here in Alaska we run into situations where there are no trees just soggy ground and those anchors do the trick. You can even pound them into frozen ground if you are in a real pickle. Great channel and your girl is a champ she may get miffed at you but you two are great team.
Dead shorts are always a fun time to chase and fix. I have also used a remote shut off switch in the system. I turn mine off whenever the rig is not in use. Onward! NNKH
Came across thus channel in my notifications . actually enjoyed it especially the wiring info you gave I find you translate in a good and clear way to understand all your info so much I'm now subbed and well worthy 👌👍NNKH
What a capable little machine. I agree about the width. It doesn't have the speed, but it does quite well on steep hills. It's a little tractor. I'd keep it and maybe get a secondary vehicle of choice for tearing through the trails, like a beefy sport quad (Honda TRX700XX; they're great, I owned one). I thoroughly enjoyed the extended footage of you taking it through the trails and putting it through its paces.
I enjoyed this video because of all the adventure, it's a shame Jen did not go with you to explore at night, I really wish I had a friend as cool as you! Thanks for the videos, they are awesome!
Have been watching a lot of your past videos along with this one and I'm seeing a definite improvement along the way. When you started to do the work on the muffler and said you were having trouble with getting it out first thing I thought was "That was the same problem Andrew had when he was doing some similar work." I enjoy watching your videos almost as much as watching his. Keep up the good work. NNKH
Thanks for the education of finding a parasitic draw on a battery. I have a little car that will go dead in two weeks but it’s the dash clock so I put in a battery cutoff like you did to solve the problem
Hey man! RE: your thoughts on your productivity. From my perspective you are VERY productive. You produce joy for yourself and those around you, interesting and detailed content, work, a home. That's a lot of productivity!
Thanks man I appreciate the insight/perspective. Sometimes I just feel like these projects take forever to do some of the simplest things. But I'll keep kicking away at it. Making videos certainly takes up a lot of time. However I find it joyful for the most part

I was consistently winching out of mud a 2020 Honda Pioneer with my Rhino. IMO they are still the best machine by design - mini Hummers i regard them
Testing for the parasitic draw explanation was great I never knew how to properly do it I will 100% remember this thanks 👍 NNKH
I love my 2004 Grizzly 660. Bought it new and beat it regularly. It has never let me down.Nice video.
Awesome video! Love these update videos on past projects keep it up man!
Also fitting song for the Rhino trailing a new path at 40:30 lol
NNKH
Thanks man

As usual a very well done and informative video. Incidentally, me and my siblings spent several years in a very poor running, no cold starting 1972, Plymouth Fury wagon. With the help of 20-20 hind sight, I realize that poor thing was just struggling to run with the poorly designed old school emissions equipment. My mother got a work out just starting that thing on cold winter mornings! NNKH
great video brother, don't ever be sorry for having fun and making good memories .that's what makes life fun...really dig the channel .
Love the upgrades. I’m glad you put the timeframe in, makes me feel better about how fast I’m working on my projects! Lol NNKH
Now, THAT is a pretty well outfitted RINO. AWESOME MACHINE! AWESOME REBUILD!
Riding Videos with the mixture of yapping and info is where it's at!!
NNKH
Really appreciate your efforts to go into detail on the project and the videos make sense good job my guy NNKH
Thanks Simon and thanks for the feedback too
I cannot imagine how you’d go about correcting your parasitic draw. Best Regards
NNKH
Your skills and resourcefulness continue to impress me. Jen always has a smile on her face, except maybe when you got stuck. But she isa,joy to watch. Keep up the great videos.
Loved it, didn't notice any difference in style. Keep them coming!!
Love your videos! Not a UTV fan, but awesome vid nonetheless. The Fury video is my favorite! the exhaust sound on it is life changing, seriously! NNKH
I really like the explanation and how to go about a parasitic draw I've struggled with that at times trying to use a voltmeter and what I finally ended up doing is just using a test light checking the fuses then just tracing the wires back after I found what's fuse it was if it was feasible and if it wasn't just putting a whole new wiring harness in which was a pain in the ass but watching you the way you go about doing it using a voltmeter especially a digital one sure does make it a lot easier and ice swear by the battery cutoff switch and I will tell you why I used to drive freightliners the newer ones and those have a lot of computers on them they're always active even with the key shut off and we were having problems with batteries draining over a period of time because those computers wouldn't completely shut off so we put the factory put a battery disconnect switch in and that also helped and keeping the truck from getting stolen because if you didn't know about the battery cutoff switch you couldn't start the truck even trying to hotwire so thank you
I just bought an older Rhino and am learning a lot from you. Thanks!
Glad to hear it! No problem
Bro, I truly admire your wiring hoard!! NNKH

Dang! Late again. I've gotta quit working so late. Enjoying the videos as usual man. I know it's hard but we need more content!!!KNKH
Sorry about typo!NNKH!!!
Awesome to hear that you found the video useful and I appreciate you watching! Thanks man!
I love all the how to do's and upgrades you did on this rhino, very informative and I love ur work and the things you do.. NNKH FOR LIFE!!, "NNKH"
Always good stuff on this channel man. This channel is gonna blow up big and gonna be well deserved! NNKH
Love the idea of the battery disconnect on the toys. For storage and safety too.. love the videos and you sharing your adventures! NNKH
love the video mate ,from New Zealand NNKH
What a capable little machine. I agree about the width. It doesn't have the speed, but it does quite well on steep hills. It's a little tractor. I'd keep it and maybe get a secondary vehicle of choice for tearing through the trails, like a beefy sport quad (Honda TRX700XX; they're great, I owned one). I thoroughly enjoyed the extended footage of you taking it through the trails and putting it through its paces.
I like watching your videos. You got a good deal on the Yamaha. It seems there is nothing that you won’t attempt to fix. I am a subscriber to NNKH.
I enjoyed this video because of all the adventure, it's a shame Jen did not go with you to explore at night, I really wish I had a friend as cool as you! Thanks for the videos, they are awesome!
Chris, great video….your content is everything a guy and his sons love. Busting through that drift was awesome..NNKH
Love the battery switch. Great video NNKH
