I am not only impressed with your knowledge and skills as a mechanic but you are VERY talented at making incredible videos. Not only the filming and editing but that you are very thorough in explaining what is wrong and and how you fix it. Great job.
Chris is the kind of guy you want to spend your free time around. Iv learned many valuable skills from similar mechanical minded people that were willing to let me shadow them and learn, and it has allowed me to achieve things thought I could never do, and doors to open in my life that wouldn't have been possible. I like watching his videos, not only for the good content he creates, but also the vast wealth of knowledge that can be continually learned through his and others experiences
Hey man. Wanted to tell you I bought an 07 rhino 660 / 686 about 3 years ago. It needed a ton of work and I spent a lot of time watching you videos along with a lot of others. That crazy machine is a beast now. Full engine rebuild, re-honed, new rings and everything else. Timing, gaskets, water pump. Thanks for making videos, they helped a lot.
Your mechanic skills never cease to amaze me. You even improved brand new parts that you bought for the Rhino by shaving flat the head. Measuring rings and gap, another step most people wouldn’t think to do. For you however it seems basic! Way cool and super fun to watch.
Most guys whine about slipping a .002 feeler gauge, like you did. But, all the fancy measuring is BS. You did it simple, and straight forward. Fantastic.
I love watching the mechanics on RUclips, I was a football guy coming up in hs and college, Man I wished I'd taken interest in even just learning the basics , I'm doing it now, but watching these guys on here like Chris, Vice grip, Sleeperdude these guys are my new sport's stars....lol. bunch of gifted people in the auto mechanics field, Some real superstars here on RUclips , I'm just fascinated.
Never too late to start. I was a computer technology nerd first. Got a mechanic job late 20s Very basic mechanic job. Then made a mechanic friend at work who came to find out made his own small business fixing these. Started as a tool bitch drinking beers and handing out tools on Saturdays and basic part replacement jobs. Now I'm rebuilding a 2002 Yamaha Bear Tracker he gifted me it's great fun.
You're so skilled. Your content is so impressive because it doesn't seem like there's anything you can't rebuild. You and Jen can enjoy your new UTV...
I am a fan of Andrews channel for years, now that I've discovered yours its a whole set! Going through every video with a smile :) greets from Croatia!
Thanks for the video If you have any future problems you're going to want to use head studs with nuts And install a battery and relay cover You do not want your electrical system covered in road grime These rhinos have a reverse speed limiter that goes faulty You can just cut the wire and grounded out
I know I'm late commenting on this. But I just want to contribute a tip about glass. The back side of a mirror is the flattest glass surface you can easily acquire. The reason for this is during production of the glass, when a liquid, the bottom is flatter than the top and so when making a mirror the silver coating is applied to the bottom to reduce optical distortion. So when using glass to back sandpaper I learned to use the back of a mirror to get the flattest surface.
just joined the channel recently and I'm enjoying you being you bud, learning a little to boot! looking forward to more projects. well done with your scuba truck revival...
Enjoy all these videos and love how you jump in and tackle what would be intimidating projects to most of us. Also liked hearing old cypress hill and your taste in music in all these videos. Thanks!
i really want to get a Rhino. seems like a capable but slightly entry level fun/practical machine!!! Really cool to hear the Andrew Camarata connection!
I've been shooting some footage for a part two, but it's nothing extravagant. Just going over odds and ends that I've had to fix and some stuff I've changed. Should be posting it within the next month or two once I get some footage to wrap it up.
Your videos are great , the content is very interesting, you are a terrific mechanic. Jen is adorable (but you knew that). You are putting people like "Vice Grips Garage" "Auto Auction rebuild" " Puddin something" "Matts Offroad Recovery," "Fab Rats" to shame. Good ones are: Mortse, Andrew Camarta, South Main Garage, Junk Yard Digs, Junk Yard Mook, Sleeperdude, Streetlegalcars are real good also. You are the real deal.
I've watched quite a few of your videos and all I've ever heard you listen to was country and I think old style rock and roll. Cypress Hill?? I love it! You've got many layers my friend! Thanks for the videos Chris!
I'm sooo impressed by your skill of mechanic I can stop the see your video. And always sharing your success with your wife well done. Marcos form Puerto Rico
Need to get yourself a tow strap to go around the trees, and maybe a snatch block. If you haven't already install a light bar above the windshield. Definitely a roof.
Love this video. We’ve been looking for one since you posted this and finally found an 05 660 last night that needs a new timing chain. Cant wait to get it going and have some adventures as well.
It’s a good video your home made glass grinder idea is very helpful. I suppose to offer the rebuild kit at such a low price they are cutting a few corners. Your rich mechanical skills are well suited to enable you to rebuild the machine so quickly.
I just rebuilt the engine on my rhino 660 after dropping 3 valves, bored 50 over now, runs great now but it cranks for awhile after sitting for a minute. Best solution was I installed an outboard primer bulb to the crab Fires first crank after a few pumps..give it a shot if you still have starting issues
Damn that's crazy yours dropped three though. It seems like these things have quite a few engine problems. Thanks for the input. My starting problem is actually rectified. After putting a new stator in it due to the fact that it wasn't charging, it cranks up perfectly every time now. So I'm thinking something was wonky with the pickup coil.
Picked mine up for cheap in a barn and it dropped the valves in the garage idling so I'm still ahead. Your video reminds me alot of how my venture has gone with the 660. Love my rhino now. Keep it up!
Hi Chris, I've binged watched your videos for the past 8 months now and I'm a novice mechanic myself, but I'm not afraid to take advise from highly skilled mechanics such as yourself. I like watching the videos that you post alongside your wife Jen, and doggie Gus. In this video on fixing the Yamaha rhino 660 UTV I've heard you say that the headlights suck, I highly recommend that if it takes headlight style/size headlights to get the Hikari 2023 future 30000 LM LED bulbs 65w Titanova LED high lumens 6000k cool white Ip68 waterproof headlights, They are not really 30,000 lumens as advertised, more like half that at 15000, they're a bit pricey at $130, but well worth it. I can easily see 500 ft to about 1,000 ft ahead of me, and they have a wide viewing angle for in your case on the trails for potential danger with animals crossing your path. I'm in no way being sponsored by Hikari, I just like their products, and I've tried over 20 different types of styles of headlights, based on durability, brightness, and quietness. And these by far beat the rest. You said you wanted to put a light bar on the rhino, well with these headlights you will not need that light bar... Good luck..
Welllll, today i took the rotating plate out of the bottom of my microwave and cleaned it so that makes us pretty much the same person 🤣🤣🤣.. I've been binging your channel for 3 days now and I'm soooo impressed brotha.. You definitely earned my sub and follow
You wash those metal filters out with kerosene.,or diesel fuel to.& Blow out lightly with air blowgun tool to dry out the filter to. I seriously suggest you trying some of that copper coating spray.&STP bars stop leak additives to in.& On your new atv.,or utv all terrain vehicle.
Thanks Charles. Definitely takes longer to make this style video than what I usually do. I have a lot of hours wrapped up in this one. It was fun and enjoyable to make though because some of the stuff was pretty funny to look back on
The keyswitch starter wire is pulling amps away from the coil when trying to start , need to look at back of keyswitch and relocate coil wire on keyswitch or to its own 12v source.
Great work on your Rhino. The odd thing to me is where did you find room to ride in bucks county? I live in new mexico now with a rhino. You treat these machines right , they are reliable. Good luck and be safe.
Loved it. Now I want one too. If you often ride without a party maybe carry jumper pack or fit in another 12v wet cell? The Broke Down Lost Dude was fortunate to have you out there that late.
Yeah you're right, should probably start riding with a jump pack. That thing has the little pickup bed so I will probably put a pretty good oh shitt kit in it
Love your videos and that Jen participates in some. Loved her kitchen remodel. Great job. Is there anything you can't fix? Do you ever say No to a project or started one and gave up on? I would think all those years of sitting that seals and things would be dried up, rotting and such.
I bought one today for $500 Canadian apparently it ran previously but wont start now. Turns over but won't start. Possibly same as in video. You make it look easy to work on, I'm an electrician but I can learn quick. This looks like fun. I've known the previous owner since he was born so I completely trust him. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
Interesting to see someone who knows Andrew as I have been following his videos on RUclips for years. We have 2 Rhinos. One is the 660 and the other a 700 EFI. They are pretty unstoppable and we use at least one of them every day in our ranch operation. Really loved your engine work and honest review. Adding an led light to illuminate the box area is a real help too. Top speed on the 660 is about 50 mph and the 700 about 40 mph because of its rev limiter.
Cool. Yeah they are definitely a worthwhile unit. Well built. Yeah once I get some cash together and all the parts I need Ill do a part 2 with all the mods and then some more riding
Love you post’s! I didn’t make the conversation between you and Andrew! Even though I watched the episodes with you in it! You and your lady friend?! Or wife make a lovely couple! She reminds me of my wife when we first got married! Love all your little pets! We’ve had lots of little friends from the bush here in Australia! Must say you must have a shortage of cops! We would never be able to take just any vehicle on too the road! Not even back roads!
You solved the problem! How to make a Rhino fast. Just record driving and then play in hish speed! The trick is though you need to talk very slow in a low of voice as possible
I’ve had pretty good luck with niche top end kits, aside from one that I may have over torqued and cracked, I read the wrong line and put three times the torque it was supposed to have. I mostly work on Honda’s and Polaris since they are more common here but personally I am a Yamaha fan. I did however just buy a Polaris ranger, so much more comfortable than my Yamaha big bear.
Check the transmission fluid.,or gear.& Head gasket should be sprayed with copper coating spray. That's if you get the aluminum style of head gasket.& To lightly tourch heat it up let it cool back down then spray with the copper coating spray. Then add some STP with bars stop leak additives to the oil it's A oil treatment. In the blue.,or gray plastic pint containers. Transmission filter may need cleaned out.,or replaced. I would add in some Lucas transmission stop leak additives into the transmission to. You might be surprised by the results of it to.
I am not only impressed with your knowledge and skills as a mechanic but you are VERY talented at making incredible videos. Not only the filming and editing but that you are very thorough in explaining what is wrong and and how you fix it. Great job.
Ya I agree, these guys really know their stuff now a days, quite enjoyable
Chris is the kind of guy you want to spend your free time around. That was fun. I love your use of time-lapse. Jen adds sparkle to every video she's in.

Andrew camarata is a gold mine.
Check out Musty1, Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics, South Main Auto, worth watching.

Don’t worry = I’m sure jen will never leave you = BECAUSE WHEN THE WORLD ENDS = it’s people like you who will save us 😊
Great video! It amazes me that people have the patience to tear in to things like that and the knowledge to put it all back together. Major props!
Lol, “She does not like gears”!
Editing these must take an eternity.
Best videos on utube. Keep em coming.
You two are the most awesome couple ive ever seen! You guys have so many adventures and so much fun and i almost forgot about Guss so you three!
I am a fan of Andrews channel for years, now that I've discovered yours its a whole set!
Going through every video with a smile :)
greets from Croatia!
What a great time! I can’t wait to take it out again.
Me too! We'll have to bring it out West and get some Red Dirt riding in on it.
You're the star or the video Jen. Lol
I’ve been watching your channel for about 6 months and really enjoy the episodes.
Thanks for the video
If you have any future problems you're going to want to use head studs with nuts
And install a battery and relay cover
You do not want your electrical system covered in road grime
These rhinos have a reverse speed limiter that goes faulty
You can just cut the wire and grounded out

Used the same kit for my machine, 3 years later still going strong
It’s always fun when Jen busts Chris’s chops🤣🤣
Enjoy all these videos and love how you jump in and tackle what would be intimidating projects to most of us. Also liked hearing old cypress hill and your taste in music in all these videos. Thanks!
Best Rhino Video I've seen on RUclips. Bring on the other ones!!
Hot damn, will do! Thanks
What a taste in music, young folks, April 26 1992, insane in the brain. Part of the fun is seeing if I know all the songs.
Brilliant video, I could watch these all day. 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i really want to get a Rhino. seems like a capable but slightly entry level fun/practical machine!!! Really cool to hear the Andrew Camarata connection!

What a great toy / workhorse... Props to Jen for the Miller Lite beer...
Good fix up. I have had my bolts come loose on my wench before.
Need to get yourself a tow strap to go around the trees, and maybe a snatch block. If you haven't already install a light bar above the windshield. Definitely a roof.
This is an Awesome Channel!!
This dude knows is stuff and gets after it!!!
Love it!!
Couldn’t Help but nod my head when sublime came on! Love the channel man!
Hells yeah man! And thanks I appreciate you checking the video out

Rapidly becoming 1 of my fave youtubers
Snow is coming down! Time for some rhino action!
It’s a good video your home made glass grinder idea is very helpful. I suppose to offer the rebuild kit at such a low price they are cutting a few corners. Your rich mechanical skills are well suited to enable you to rebuild the machine so quickly.

I had the "blipping" issue on a polaris four wheeler. It was EXACTLY like that. It was just the key switch. EASY fix.
Welllll, today i took the rotating plate out of the bottom of my microwave and cleaned it so that makes us pretty much the same person 🤣🤣🤣.. I've been binging your channel for 3 days now and I'm soooo impressed brotha.. You definitely earned my sub and follow
I agree best rhino video ive ever seen..You rock Chris..
Yes. Part 2 I personally like the UTV/Motorcycle realm. Thks for pulling the gas tank on the Tow truck have been looking for videos of such.
Poor Jen she's the best you're so lucky God bless you both you know better
You wash those metal filters out with kerosene.,or diesel fuel to.& Blow out lightly with air blowgun tool to dry out the filter to. I seriously suggest you trying some of that copper coating spray.&STP bars stop leak additives to in.& On your new atv.,or utv all terrain vehicle.
Definitely a part 2. I'd like to see you fabricate that heater you were talking about.
By far the best video you've done. Nice job man.
Damn, thanks man. I appreciate the feedback Alex.
I agree with DownstaterADV. This is your best video!

Sublime, Mobb Deep and Beastie boys in one video?! I knew you were a man of exceptional taste.
Great work on your Rhino. The odd thing to me is where did you find room to ride in bucks county? I live in new mexico now with a rhino. You treat these machines right , they are reliable. Good luck and be safe.
I'm really enjoying my Xmas binge of your vids.. Expecting allot more great content for the new year too
Add a Led light bar to the front you'll love it. Thanks KS for the great vidio.
Loved it. Now I want one too. If you often ride without a party maybe carry jumper pack or fit in another 12v wet cell? The Broke Down Lost Dude was fortunate to have you out there that late.
Yeah you're right, should probably start riding with a jump pack. That thing has the little pickup bed so I will probably put a pretty good oh shitt kit in it
And yeah Thurman was ready to push it in the woods, hide it for the night and walk back.
Enjoyed the video and you had the opportunity to ride with the one and only Andrew.
Next up Mustie?
Awesome. Glad to hear. And yea riding with him was a blast. Tough to keep up
Would really like to see a part two. Those are good little rigs. You may have a bad switch.👍👍
Love your videos and that Jen participates in some. Loved her kitchen remodel. Great job. Is there anything you can't fix? Do you ever say No to a project or started one and gave up on? I would think all those years of sitting that seals and things would be dried up, rotting and such.
good on you ,helping that other rider out there .
I love it you always clean before you work on things.stay safe Welsh Lyn.
Yeah definitely a step worth not skipping! Saves time in the end i feel like
I bought one today for $500 Canadian apparently it ran previously but wont start now. Turns over but won't start. Possibly same as in video. You make it look easy to work on, I'm an electrician but I can learn quick. This looks like fun. I've known the previous owner since he was born so I completely trust him. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
That's awesome man! What a great deal. I would just start with checking the obvious stuffed like spark compression and fuel
The orange wire goes from the coil to the cdi box up by the battery, mine was broke right around the motor. No spark
Interesting to see someone who knows Andrew as I have been following his videos on RUclips for years.
We have 2 Rhinos. One is the 660 and the other a 700 EFI. They are pretty unstoppable and we use at least one of them every day in our ranch operation. Top speed on the 660 is about 50 mph and the 700 about 40 mph because of its rev limiter.
I like that hose clamp on the piston trick
I put a stock grizzly front clutch sheave and a dynatek CDI on my ‘07. It does 59mph on stock 25” tires.
Hose clamp ring compressor...just awesome!!!
28:02 donuts with the rhino love it
EPIC CHRIS AND THE J.SUGENT lifting the hood was so funny!
I enjoyed seeing you resurrect this rhino. Much appreciated . What drone are you using and do you recommend it?
Thanks for checking the video out. In this one I was using the original DJI mavic. But I have the mavic air 3 now. It's great
Ive used the amazon niche rebuild kit on a 2 stroke trail blazer polaris. Never gave me an issue and it was like 100 bucks
Loved this vid,
Absolutely part2 looking for the same machine myself
Wow great work and even better time. Awesome
Smartest guy on earth 🌍
You solved the problem! How to make a Rhino fast. Just record driving and then play in hish speed! The trick is though you need to talk very slow in a low of voice as possible
I’ve had pretty good luck with niche top end kits, aside from one that I may have over torqued and cracked, I read the wrong line and put three times the torque it was supposed to have. Great video. Yes, it would be great if you have a 2nd video on the upgrades to this Rhino if you still own it. Thank you for posting
Was that Andrew with the castle? We watch him all the time. Pretty cool video.
You are the splendor of happiness my dears
Glad you did a part 2.
Love your taste in music!
Would like to see part 2
Can't wait for part 2. 😊👍🏻
You both are a cute couple and love your project Rhino. Well done.
Yes I would like to see part 2
Really helpful. Good Videos keep up the good work. I have 2006 rhino. Great work horse
Let's see a part two
Thankyou, peace fellow babies.darn fine program.
Jack of all trades, good deal!

I’ve been buying the Niche brake pads for my Atv and SxS, even compete callipers which ridiculously cheap
Love u from Malaysia. Such a sweet and smiley Jen. 🇲🇾🇺🇸
Double recovery having the truck worked out 😊
