its not 13 per year they make more than that. It was 13 at the time of posting. it was rare to see one in the states at the time I made the video. It was a mistake of me to say 13 per year.
I'm not sure this is a rare car. Sure not too many on the road, but if you ask Alpina to make one, they will. Personally I would've asked Alpina to paint the side vent piece in white, I don't know which sort of drugs the BMW design team was on when they designed the vent, but to me it looks like somebody glued a hockey stick to the side of the car.
The sad part is 2, 3 years later the value of this vehicle is down to half, I know because I just bought one with 15k miles one owner Ferrari red for half of its original value
