Me, too. The all-powerful algorithm kicked this one back into my feed. (That put me in position to make the devilish 666th like. Oh, well, time to confront my own demons.) 😂🤣😂 That would be an ex-Tripacer Blanton V-6.
Steve was actually a short time owner of the Mona Lisa. It turns out there was a misspelled document where a new worker accidentally wrote in "Steve Henry" instead of "the French Republic" under the owner line. It was cleared up shortly thereafter, but earned Steve free croissants for life.
Brought back memories of my 1974 Elsinore250 days Tacoma,WA. 😂 I’m one knobby away from coming out of retirement 😂😂 keep the videos rolling ✌️#highlander55 😉
I saw a quick clip of Garrett Mitchell. He is just starting the flying life but he will be a force some day. Very competitive and driven. Cool guy to add to your STOL community.
It was really cool to meet him and his friends! They went flying with some of the STOL guys while they were at SunN Fun. I think they will be around 😎. -Sara
Thank you! We love our STOL friends and like to include them in the videos. This one was mostly about Steve but we really like to include our friends! -Sara
@@SteveHenry thanks for taking the time to reply Steve. Any chance of getting any information on your 3 cylinder engine, maybe a link? I’m an Australian so as we say here, if not no worries.
Love you guy's... and of course the Highlander !!! Steve's Genuine always ❤ and still hoping to buy a Highlander from ya SOMETIME !! Hope to see you guy's in Nebraska in May !! Still not completely used to the blonde hair but Smokin Hot with either 😎😀 Thank you guy's for being you !!! And Wow the video's are getting Amazing !!! Really Great job Sara !!!!!
I`m toying with the idea of getting a Highlander XL with the TK1 mains and tails, and on 26’’ tires. Flying a Savage Cub with tall gear these days. Hows the view over the nose? Would probably use VGs but not slats. Not planning on doing anything extreme, but I want to have fun in the backcountry, and have a little more margin for error…
So has anybody bought one of Steve's outlanders? I always see him advertise it and wonder if anyone has said "I would like a Yee-Haw 8 please." or just a STOL plane like his.
I've been a Steve Henry fan ever since I saw his "Dead Stick Takeoff" video several years ago. I still think it's one of the best videos.
I can’t believe I missed this video when it came out. It’s awesome! Thanks for sharing Steve’s story with us.

Thanks for including some of that older crazy footage. I had no idea he was doing that in that backcountry so long ago! Very cool.
You’re a superstar Steve! Great work!

Can you imagine if Steve was your CFI, that first discovery flight would have been memorable for sure.

Loved it thankyou. If it went three hours, I'd watch every second!
Thank you! We are glad you liked it!
I would love to see a video of Steve Henry and Dan Reynolds swapping airplanes for a day of fun.
Some great and valuable advice, BUT simply forward to 8:15 to (finally) find the info in the title
Thank you! This one was hard to pick a title for. -Sara
Trình viễn phi cơ của bạn rất nghệ thuật và điêu luyện hay lắm cảm ơn video chia sẻ của bạn, chúc bạn sức khỏe.
Do you measure your landing from the line or from when the tires touch to stop

Highlander XL is an excellent backcountry airplane with great visibility and performance. Check out our website for more info. WildWestAircraft.com
Would love to do this just can't afford it.
Thanks for sharing. Why the number 44 ?? Any reason behind it?
I think I was 44 years old when I started running that number on race cars and I’ve just used it ever since.
LET'S DO IT AGAIN STEVE...SEE YOU WHEN...
So has anybody bought one of Steve's outlanders? I always see him advertise it and wonder if anyone has said "I would like a Yee-Haw 8 please." or just a STOL plane like his.
OLE' Cleeter
Wow it’s like a bigger Murphy Moose
Squawk 69 😆 that's a solid sign. Except squaks are four digits
That takes off like a helicopter
Can you haul gear or is this just a stunt show 😮
