Yay! Brenda Clemens! We haven't seen you for a long time! (She's lovely). If this is a VLog, it's epic. Beautiful production Sara. Congratulations to Steve and all the competitors.
Nothing like the love of a daughter. I know. All good Juan Browne. Never saw the STOL races before. Hands full with the clock ticking and a competitor in front of you. Light it up, hit the brakes spin and go. Whew! Sara Smile. Congrats Steve. Determination and skill
Ever thought about putting a throttle trigger on the flaps handle? Squeeze with index finger for throttle, that way you dont have to move your whole hand and arm to switch controls...
Sara, for the bugs. rub down bare skin with fabric softener sheets. An old Indian taught me that when I used to flag for crop dusters! Thanks for the great Videos!
Hey Sara, ticks don't fly, if there's trees around they like to drop in, or get on your dogs. If your walking thru tall grass and wear calf length white socks to defend yourself' easy peezy. I despise ticks too. Good job on your video work, I'm gonna build my own highlander starting next summer. Yeeha design, only she'll be named Audrey
Congratulations, Team Henry. Thanks, Sara for another great video. I must have missed something along the way. I thought you were back in Yeehaw 7, and going to sell Yeehaw 8.
Bart Yeehaw 8 is definitely the best Highlander I’ve ever built so that is the one I like flying the most. I still have YH6 that I built in 2018 although I really should sell it. I sold YeeHaw 7 a couple years ago.
I was in an outdoor traditional archery 3-D tournament and faked brushing off a tick on my competitor and saying how bad they are here to try to get inside his head! Once you start thinking about ticks, you can suddenly feel (imagine)them crawling on you from that point on.😎
It was fun to talk to you guys in Reno last year! We will really miss Reno! 😢 I just don’t think NM is going to be the same. Maybe it will take a few years and be okay? Question: Do you prefer drags on dirt or a paved rnwy?
As far as the Racing itself, I like it equally well on pavement or grass or dirt. I do like it when we don’t have a whole bunch of dirt blowing around and everything doesn’t get all filthy like it does out in the desert.
I was sitting in my living room when you started showing those ticks and it was an hour before I quit feeling them on me!!! 🤨 The power of suggestion is easy for hypochondriacs like me!!!!! 🙄🤣😂 PS I hope the engine is not hurt to bad!!!🤔
They should make an engine swap an obligatory part of the competition , I mean this a back country inspired competition where anything can and probably will happen ,so swapping an engine out so as to make it home for tea [ or wolves come to visit ,].is a must have skill set .??. . Still wonder why they haven't got air brakes like gliders ,to slow down ,or are they not allowed ?.
@@SteveHenry good to know , i was a bit surprised that no one seemed to be using them , I did a little gliding ,and slowing down with no engine was oddly rather important , the air brakes really worked .[ are they allowed jtol ?? ,i'm joking Steve looks busy enough controlling that beaste as it is !!].
No need to send extra time with the fancy production. Any true pilot or even true aviation fanatic just wants to see and hear airplanes. No music. Just airplanes and airplane noises. I know you probably get a lot more views with the fancy stuff but airplane people don't care. I know that me personally, have quit watching and following some famous u tubers because it's become too much about advertising. I want simple aviation content without all the musicians dancing. Not knocking your production Sara but if you simply stay stretched too thin trying to stay caught up, us true fans really don't need the extra work if I would save precious time. I know in my world time is money. Anyway, thank you for everything you do to share this with pilots like me that are truly inspired to do this but can't afford to come see it in person or have time to. One of these days I will. Building my own stol bird right now and working 7 days a week.
Don’t know about American tics but the European once are not nearly the size of the bugs you showed 😂😂… A tic is firstly not an insect, count the legs, tics has 8 not 6
Love watching you two & your plane at the STOL Drags. Thank you for sharing the fun
Congrats Steve...great coverage Sara.
Beutiful airshow.
Great job Sara with this production, and congrats to your dad!! Lots of work there.
Sara, nice coverage. Fun to watch. Glad Steve got the engine swapped out.
Very nice production. Thanks for sharing. The sprint car race was a nice bonus.
Thanks for watching. The Sprint Cars were a nice bonus for us too! I wasn’t expecting to end up there! SO fun 😁 - Sara

Yay! Brenda Clemens! We haven't seen you for a long time! (She's lovely). If this is a VLog, it's epic. Beautiful production Sara. Congratulations to Steve and all the competitors.

DANG PETE-E sure Growing fast!! Teach him to fall..AWAY from the bike too Brownie. I'M Sure you will...
Yeah that cylinder was running hot. The white tip of the plug showed that . Even though I am14 I know what I am talking about. Yeehaw.
Lookin' good, Sara! And Steve! After an engine swap, no less . . . well done!

A piece of paper is about four thousandths of an inch. Improvised feeler gauge.
Thankfully the parts store was close, but that’s a good idea! -Sara

Great video Sara. Your editing is so inspiring. I’m sad I missed the show. 😢 but the beast is gonna be back. 🤘🤘Reno here we come.
Thank you Jeff! 😁 We missed you bring there! -Sara
Great video 🤙🤙
Ill be curious to hear what went awry with the 1st engine 🤔🤔
We are curious too! I will let you know when we find out in the next video. -Sara
They seemed a bit fast for ticks. Also, you weren't walking in forest or long grass, so it would be weird to pick up ticks there.
Yes!!!
😁😁
Great effort
😁 thank you
Glenn Hall is your tuner? Running Vi-Pec/Link?

Ticks are the worst! Thank you, Steve is getting the engine to Hypersports in Wisconsin so they can take a look at it. Hopefully it’s simple! -Sara
Dribbling injector maybe.

Was this rickenbacker airport in columbus ohio ?
Somebody tell Juan that those are forward slips, not side slips.
👍
Thanks for the thumbs up! -Sara
Just run it until it blows, you trailered it there, what are you worried about
