It's funny to me how fake *Pac* fans with no knowledge of his history and background making such claims now. Because when he was alive, he got no such acclaim, because other *MC's* of that era had the game on lock, like *Snoop* who *Biggie* took the title from as the era premier rapper.
Even when *Pac* died it showed, there were no crowds mourning or celebrating his life. But when *Big* died all news outlets immediately crowned him the Greatest.
*Biggie* was the go to guy for features, everyone back then wanted him on their albums.
He got tributes on most awards shows, his funeral was an epic sight, one to behold. There numerous tribute songs for *Biggie* .... Even *Biggie's Lyrics* are by far the most copied by numerous rappers.
*Pac* greatness acclamation and record sales came posthumously almost a decade after he died. Plus the mystery surrounding his death, further heightened his acclamation with the *Makaveli* album, which was named after an Italian aristocrat who had faked his own death.
At no point while he was alive, *Pac* was ever the number one rapper or most requested. Like *Bob Marley* his legendary status came *Posthumously* .....🤔
