2024-05-01: Still broken
Can confirm it's still broken...
still crashing its ridiculous
Thanks to the gamepass I'll be able to test it with no regret
I waited a whole year for nothing basically. Is the console version stable?
@@bandarfaisal6219 I unfortunately don't know, I don't really play on console.
Googling seems to indicate it may have been improved substantially (in contrast to the PC).
But on the other hand, console folks usually has much lower standards for performance (not an insult, just how it is) so not sure I'd trust them saying it's good now.
See if you can find some recent console gameplay videos, if it's stuttering you should be able to see it in the video.
Love these videos holding devs accountable for broken games far into release cycle.
Sadly it won't actually do anything though. All the devs have moved onto the next project.
*publishers
the game isn't broken, the performance just sucks if you have ray tracing enabled.
raytracing is only really a problem in jedha, where it crashes every time it is turned on. however the stutters and performance issues DF are talking about are still present at low settings and 1080p resolution. in many small areas or corridors is rarely noticeable (like on the moon station for example) however any open area sucks@@randomcheese1719
@@chubeatle *devs, EA wanted to give Respawn more time to polish it up but they said no. Respawn are just terrible with Unreal Engine (which is also garbage and far outlived its usefulness), this is all on them.
If this game launched with perfect performance, there is no doubt it would have made a nomination for game of the year. BG3 would still easily win. But it would have been nominated at least.
If that was the case Elden Ring wouldnt have won the year it did. Elden Ring isn't as bad performance wise but it was hardly great in that department. Performance is a factor in GoTY for awards but a minor one.
The game of the year titles are completely stupid, a lot of people vastly prefer first person shooters over RPG or strategy, so BG3 can never be GOTY for them, gaming is extremely subjective just like art. What is the best wall hanging picture of 2023? :P
I recently finished Jedi Survivor on PC, but even without the garbage coding it has, it is not that great of a game imo...
Spiderman 2 is also broken with a lot of glitches and was also nominated and didn't win. This game's story is good but not GOTY material.
@@Battleneter Absolutely this. I'd consider myself more of an action gamer. I did 4 100% Spider-man 2 playthroughs, beat it on the ultimate difficulty which was tough and loved every minute of it. I tried Baldur's Gate 3 on my ps5, but it just lacked the action which I love.
This year was great too. Spider-man 2 is my goty, but there was also Dead Space Remake, Final Fantasy 16, Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores dlc, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Hogwarts Legacy, Ghost Runner 2, Remnant 2, Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen. I had way too much fun in 2023. 😁😁😁
Respawn entertainment is a good example of just because they make good games doesn’t mean they’re good devs
Unreal Engine for ya!
Well they didn't fix Fallen Order either and they were rewarded with huge sales for the sequel, so why should they change now
What a monkeys paw wish. We wanted them to go back to making good single player games again, but now the single player games have horrible performance issues
If you're buying this game on steam, the first thing you see is an orange text saying it has "varied" reviews. If you care about your money at all, you know those are bad news, and I suppose your average buyer will at least read what the negative fuss is all about. There's no way the sales aren't negatively impacted by that. It's no longer just some obscure negative review in the darker corners of the internet.
What?
I just finished Fallen Order on ps5 and it ran great . I never spotted one problem ,
@@Crashed131963 they mean on pc
I played Fallen Order on PC. Yea, it had stutter but it wasn’t nearly as bad as Survivor, primarily because of that large open world map. Speaking of open world, I’m tired of seeing all games go towards some iteration of an open world sandbox mode. Survivor absolutely did not need it.
I _loved_ the first one, Fallen Order, and was prepared to pick this one up asap, but held off because when it comes to any game, especially a PC one these days, the odds of a game being a technical disaster or disappointment are exceedingly high (in terms of being remotely acceptable with how often it occurs). I guess I should be happy I didn't waste the money, even though the game itself seems just as good as it should be.
The only PC game I bought this year on release was Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and was pleasantly surprised as to how well it ran right out of the box. I did run across a bugged quest about 4-5 hours in but I just started over again and the second time it worked without issue ..... and then 2 days later they released a patch that fixed it which for Ubisoft is also unusual because usually they have the Day One patch and you don't see another for 5-6 weeks
Still holding off, meanwhile Lords of the Fallen, released like crap, now running at 164FPS average on uktra, CERO stutters, CERO crashes. If a small polish company can patch their shit, how the F cannot Jedi Survivor?
It's MUCH better than Fallen Order, and the performance of the game is great as long as you disable Ray Tracing. It's an awesome game.
do you think in a 55% sale worth it?
I think like you about not waste money... but with a promo like that, i am wondering if maybe this could be worth it
@@jonmv Probably, since it doesn't look like they're gonna put more R&D into fixing the game's issues after this much time has passed, The Steam Community page and pcgamingwiki will probably have you covered for any remaining issues. Unlikely the game will see a bigger sale until Summer or Fall later this year
This is why I don't pay full price for newly released games. I'd be so angry if I had shelled out €60 for this and it _still_ performed so poorly on my PC.
It wouldn't even matter if you paid $1 for this. It's not worth the drive space for it to run this poorly and to be squandering this much effort put in by the artists and gameplay designers.
This goes beyond voting with your wallet. These people are basically saying "buy it,don't buy it, we got money regardless." Voting with your wallet no longer works and in this case class action law suits are probably the only way forward. Fuck this racket. The best games of this year didn't even come from AAA publishers.
Now on gamepass and still not fixed lmao
@@vugolol never bought it. cuz these horrible performance everyones talking about..and yes it still have it on game pass. absolut bad performance even with a 4090
Bro, I just payed $65 on ps5 and it's still not fixed😢
@@karisto6935 Don't ever bother playing it, I finished the game, the story is worse than the first (as if it couldn't get worse after that ending) and they made Darth Vader look weaker than he is (literal opposite of what happened in the first game) and the ending is incredibly rushed with a twist that makes no sense whatsoever.
link to the full video broken?
This is definitely a good and needed series.
I'm glad you guys are ripping this guano that if fixed would actually be a great game. Hopefully, EA allows Respawn to fix this.
They got the money already, so no.
They should if they want to keep selling games in the future. But yeah, its just depressing.
@@Valshiirs Nah, a couple of trailers and the by now AAA-standard post launch apology is usually good enough. Now that's depressing.
Hi there. I was wondering if you're going to make an optimization guide for this game for the latest version
I intended to play this on PC but held off due to your and other reviews. I ended up getting it on PS5, and even though they've fixed a lot of the performance, there are other issues. I hit a game breaking bug where a particular cut scene wouldn't trigger, and I couldn't progress the game. I stepped away out of frustration, and tried again after a couple of days and it worked, but I wasted hours trying to google for solutions. Great game. Many problems.
We really really need to stop expecting developers to fix their game post launch. They have 0 obligations to. Its a gesture of good will. If we continue to purchase this way then gaming companies will continue to take advantange of the fact people are willing to buy now to hope for a complete/fixed product later.
YES finally
someone said it
im so sick of this hivemind behaviour of people buying unfinished games and being dissapointed knowing that they're apart of the problem
oh so CDPR fixed cyberpunk as a "gesture of good will"? lmao
Agree, gotta speak with your wallet for them to change. Don't pre-order, wait for reviews and buy only with heavy discount.
I just bought a CPU, the game came with it, so didn't have an option to be picky.
@rahulgomes6488 Lmao people aren't trying to buy unfinished games they just want a good game and get this bs. How you can blame the player base is beyond me.
This was the exact same problem Jedi: Fallen Order had. When I first played the game, I was running on HDDs, so I could attribute the stuttering to that. But last year I tried running it on rigs with well above the recommended specs, and it still stutters. Not as badly as my first playthrough, but it's always there.
I recently played jedi fallen order as well it definitely had issued and I was playing it on literally the best Gaming PC money can buy. It wasn't great but it wasn't anywhere near as bad at Survivor which half the time freezes during launch and crashes constantly. I thought it was my overclock at first but after turning off PBO, XMP, and MSI Afterburner it still had massive issues, and the Crashes are especially annoying in a game where you can only save your progress at specific locations. I Tried every setting in Nvidia Control Panel and in game, Fresh driver installs, fresh windows installs, everything I could think of and this game still ran like dogshit.
Glad you do these types of videos.
I’ve fixed the issue by never giving my money to EA ever again
I do feel bad that I love the gameplay and story so much I bought it anyway. Yes, it stutters and has major frame rate problems on Koboh but I still enjoy it. However, it does make me feel like I'm in an abusive relationship though.
Playing now on PS5. The only bug so far has been where things turn black and you can look through everything, it happened once. Played about 15 hrs.
Anyone know how to fix crashes? I crash every 30 minutes on my 7809xt
My game Constantly crashes with a “not enough VRAM” error on a brand new 4070 TI Super w/ 16GB vram :/
It's still a mess on PS5 as well. From the inside of the cantina sometimes not loading in, to characters T-posing when traveling to other planets, the hyper space traveling animation doesn't always work and in the tombs when turning the camera there's white boxes that pops up around the edges of the screen before the environment loads in properly.
I've learned my lesson after Jedi Survivor and Immortals of Aveum, not to preorder games by EA anymore. I will wait to see if there is issues first. At least the Dead Space remake turned out fantastic this year though.
That's ridiculous. What are these devs doing
EA teach that lesson years ago, tho
and Dead Space have lacking PC port as well.
@@mindrover777I can't even joke. It's fucking borderline fraudulent. "Buy our cool new Star wars game, we promise it'll be in the best shape possible on PC." "We apologize that our game is not up to our usual standard. Please stick around we'll do everything we can to fix it." "We optimized the game your hardware or PC just sucks."
@@spakentruth 😂
@Ostrava_Of_Boletaria On ps5 it was amazing. I got the platinum for the remake.
Just drink a load of beer before playing, that will smooth out performance problems in any game....and make it more fun, in fact being wasted makes everything more fun and bearable
Also works outside of games.
sad life fr
I hope you sort out your alcoholism
Have you guys tested patch 8 yet? I wonder if anything has improved....
I played just a few days ago and the game is still crap. Textures aren't loaded and the frame rate is inconsistent
No. This game will never truly be fixed.
Stutter Wars CPU Survivor
Just started the game with gamepass, I have 16:10 monitor, ui in save menu and some others are not fitting the screen, but pause menu is normal. This issue was known since release but it's still there.
So this game is currently on sale on steam for £27. Is it still terrible performance wise?
I did enjoy the first one but have held off...
On PC.
3080
5800X3D
The game is still broken as hell. Just tried it on gamepass for pc. I'm just going to download it on my Xbox and just play it there.
How does it fair when capped at 30 fps? I bet the stutter is next to nothing.
Somehow, my Rtx 4090 can´t run this game, but my 2080 at 1440p, runs very well. It's strange indeed.
2024-07-02!
I've yet to try to manually turn off the Ray Tracing in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor since the Steam updates somehow failed to mention it to make it past Koboh after the first mission on Coruscant.
If that stops endlessly constant freezes from preventing the entire progress of the game it would be utterly priceless compared to overall slower than normal gaming movements as a whole.
What pissed me off the most about the stuttering was when the overall gaming movements stopped for a few seconds as I remember clearly happening occasionally to me in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
4080 and I get hella stutters. My buddy has an amd 7900xtx and said he set his target fps in the Radeon software to 60 and he has no stutter….wtf
Bought it on Epic on the summer sale in December and it even lags for me when the splash screen plays out lol...
My Pc might be old but not bad by any means:
2TB Gen 3 NVME, I9 9900KF, 32GB of ram and a RTX 3070. This is still be a beast of a system!
I got the same type of build as yours but with amd and its stuttering none stop. I feel like we have a descent pc that should run this game easily.
Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 4090 rtx here. It crashes 7 times in 3 hours...
@@celust my 7800x3d 4080 gamign oc pc has been a stutterfest with this game and dead space remake, i aint using ultra setting just high settings with the GPU power draw always below 200 watts
@@lankylonky22 it is very sad...It's a good game but the devs make it hard to love it...
It sucks cuz I was able to find a sweet middleground for playing Survivor, but I cant find ANY settings besides setting everything below medium to play the ubisoft Avatar game with performance that doesnt make it awful to just move around. 3080TI and 5900x I should be able to play on high/medium at 1440p with DLSS on.
Thankfully that has a really good console port.
I thought the stuttering was my pc so glad to see it wasn’t
In my 1st playthrough I haven't faced a single issue, the stuttering happened on my ng+ playthrough (my 2nd), in the beginning there was no problem, but when zee got captured and I decided to go to the lucrehalk my fps started dropping to 5-15 fps and my gpu usage dropped to 20% and then went up to 100% then dropped to 5% . I'm really upset since I'm a really big fan of the game, though the poor optimization had me stop playing it. One thing to mention is that this issue happened after I updated my gpu driver, but I downgraded my driver yet the issue remained. I've tried the ReSize bar fix, turning off XMP, downloading the performance mod, setting my framelimit to 60 (though it won't make a difference since my monitor is 60 fps), and attempting to lower my settings (but the stuttering remained). I will say this again, I really loved this game and had it in my Top 5 list, but EA is always an expert in ruining what you love.
The game feels bad half the time it boots if it stutters i just restart it but my stutters have been fixed using 16gbs of my ram as a cache for my ssd and fsr 3
Wow even a 4090 can’t help. 😅
Also the original had these stutter issues also… especially on console I just couldn’t play it. That first open area had crazy stutters even on a ps5 with Vrr on.
I didnt experience any stuttering at all. On PC with a GTX 1070. Game was perfectly smooth all the way. Maybe just got lucky.
That's because framepacing issies and stuttering are almost never GPU related.

Only rason it's still in my library is that it was free for me, part of a promotion when I bought the CPU for my new rig.
Can we Sue game Devs for not releasing finished products? How would you feel if you bought an half done iPhone or half done prebuilt PC etc? There has to be Consumer laws on this kind of thing.
If only many major new games didn’t require you to agree to a terms and conditions agreement before being able to play the game
@@TheAlienGangster 😮💨
@@TheAlienGangsterreally? What does it say exactly? Any idea
@@mindrover777 most modern terms and conditions make you sign an arbitration agreement, which limits your ability to sue in a normal court.
Terms and conditions aren’t a bad idea in concept but in practice they’ve just been a way for companies to sneak stuff past the consumer that prevents the company for getting in trouble when it deserves it.
For example when I was in college I had an arbitration clause written at the top of my ACT, as well as an NDA for sharing test answers
The agreements do not stop people from forming a class action lawsuit but class actions require cooperation among many people and are quite costly, so they usually end with a settlement from the company.
Imagine being "bottlenecked" in a singleplayer game with like 5 enemies at once on the screen. That is insane.
I have never seen a worse triple a game perfomance, besides 2077. But Cyberpunk got fixed and looks three times better.
Mind boggling.
The only hope is maybe the last gen port forces some engine optimizations or the last gen ports could just be 720p30 lowest settings
Did patch 8 released on January 11th improve anything?
Patch notes say "This patch also incorporates some fixes for performance and stability across all platforms."
after 1hour of triying settings, installing some "fixes" and finishing the first stage (corusan) i got my first crash and i said to myself, yeah i am not feeling it. 100% with you guys is such a shame...
Forget smoothness, worst part of the game for me is how it doesn't render at 100%. I play on a 21:9 widescreen so Jedi Survivor always looks blurry or watery.
Oh snap so it's not just me!
21:9 should be a standard by now.
I think run it 1080P to has less blurry.
you can fix this with an ini file edit but yeah its gross
@@wizardd Can you point me in the direction to fix this (link or site name is fine)....I am quite close to uninstalling the game and coming back to it if it is ever fixed
How is the console versions?
I got it on a high-end PC and it plays horrible. So, I downloaded on the XBSX and plays smooth with no stuttering
I was playing right now but had to give up cuz the stutter and the fps drops were horrendous, my Cal also got stuck in a level without the elevator and I just uninstalled it.
Im still waiting for this to be fixed. Im still reaaaally looking forward to playing it once the performance is fixed huhu
"We got our money, see ya" - Respawn Entertainment
This is reason why i stopped buying games on day 1. Because its release first and fix it later mentality...
I'll wait a year or 2 until I make the purchase.
I held off on buying it, because of the stutters I was getting in the first game. I'm kinda glad that I didn't buy it when all the complaints came rolling in. I'm also kinda sad because story/gameplay, it's probably decent like the first game. I'd buy it now if all the stutters where fixed, however I now doubt that will ever happen. Maybe it'll eventually try it out, if it's ever free on Epic or Amazon Prime or in a sale for under £7, otherwise I'll just pass.
It crashes immediately after I launch it on steam
I have a ryzen 5 cpu
Devs are at fault but how is that every unreal engine game has some kind of stutter issues? That engine just sucks imo.
Stutters? I can't even get past the opening scene, it always crashes. 🤣
The funny thing is, that Jedi Fallen Order runs smooth on the Steam Deck with SteamOS when you lock it at 30FPS (high settings) or 40FPS (medium-low settings mix).
I started playing Jedi Fallen Order on a stripped Windows 11 on the Steam Deck and the stuttering was horrific, specifically the traversal stutter. I quit playing, started the game on the Deck with SteamOS, with the same settings as under Windows and it ran smooth as butter! It was a great console like 30FPS experience! Only framedrops I had was in the last scene when Darth Vader did his Darth Vader thing.
Yes, the only way to play it on pc with less stuttering is to use DXVK translation, i think running on SteamOS makes this API translation too
I hope someday a fan patch can do what EA can't. I really want to play this game, but I really don't want to get a console just for this one game.

I would really like to know what's the reason behind this. Very experienced team with massive budget and one the latest versions of UE4 and yet it's like this...
I finished the game but did play couple boss fights in story mode, it was just too painful between camera, stutter
Just got it on GamePass for PC in W11. HDR is broken (or the settings don't seem to do anything) and it is still choppy. 5800x with a 3080 :/
Does it still stutter if locked to 30-40fps
yes.
Yep, still a disaster. Just bought it on Epic with the 33% discount, but it's a total mess.
I downloaded a 100% save game and went on Koboh to test it, my specs are:
i5-12400
32gb RAM
3070ti
1TB SSD
G-sync monitor
I have tried with some of the Stutter "fix" mod on nexus, but they barely reduced the problem.
The only way I got to play it """"Decently""""" was to install the FSR3 mod while I had G-sync and V-sync forced on in the control panel. With FSR3 mod I was able to reduce the number of 1% lows, but it was still very unstable and had bad FG artifacts...
This game has another big problem: due to the bad TAA implementation there are ghosting artifacts around the character when you move the camera.
If you have a rtx card you can remove them by swapping DLSS.dll file with the newer 3.5.10 version and turn on dlss, but it shouldn't be on our end to fix their broken aa..
After all the test I did I decided to refund it, not worth a penny
It's crazy that these games are allowed to launch and sold to us.
In my opinion EA/Respawn should be reported as fraud and the game should be removed from the stores till it's fixed, like it happened with arkham knight

while most of the time the game runs smoothly, the weird stuttering still happens quite often, the fps can drop to 40 in many places, especially when fighting huge beasts
I didn't notice any issues when I first launched this game back in September but since I returned to it last week I've had so many crashes - especially in that town on Koboh that you show footage from, and get that weird stuttering when turning the corner, which seemed to overflow at some point to just make the game crash 10+ times over the span of 3 hours, losing me 30-45 mins of progress at one point (because I was doing things with plenty of stims available and item collection chores).
It's annoying that EA/Respawn don't take more pride in their product, since it's also a pretty good game otherwise.
You still had all of the issues. The lads at DF have top tier computers and they presented the major and insane stuttering/frame time spike issues the game had, well has. Yours is another case of simply being uncapable of noticing them, which just baffles me. Even without a framerate counter, the crazy hitching can still be notice easily.
@@snchez2106 you presume that everybody has the same issues at all times. Could also be because I hadnt gotten very far into the game when I took a break to play another game and didnt roam around Koboh at that point.
My number one issue on PC was honestly image quality. The FSR implementation just RUINED the image to an absurd degree. And with the performance issues turning it off wasn't much of an option if you wanted ray tracing. Turning RT and FSR off improved the game MASSIVELY for me and I ended up really liking it. But the technical issues were still not okay.
That's a real shame. I was waiting to play it, hoping it would get better.
It ain't going to get better either. The devs already stated that the last patch was the last one for Jedi Survivor.
Played it on gamepass for 14 hours before anything really happened that was crazy. It stuttered here and there but it didn't bother me but today idk it suddenly seemed like it decided to compile shaders again. Like 5 frames that slowly got better until it went back to what it was. I'm like right on the line for recommended spec.
Tried the game today on series x and it crashed like 30 minutes into the game
Dam I was about to order this in the Epic winter sale..
I will say, using AMD's fluid motion frames made the gameplay experience much better. The higher latency was a good trade for high fps.
Can't believe they haven't fixed this game yet. Such an amazing title that will be forever broken :(
The game also doesn’t function properly on 16:10 displays, despite having the options in the settings. If you select any 16:10 resolution the game looks fine, but menus and UI elements stretch off the screen. So if you try to fix it by choosing a 16:9 resolution, the game stays in 16:10 but is squeezed. So without external fixes like Special K, players with 16:10 screens are just SOL.
This was actually brought up on the EA forums, and the “Accepted Solution” is no solution at all, just the community manager saying “huh, guess it isn’t supported lol” then saying (nearly a year ago) that feedback will be passed on to the team. After further criticism at the nothing response, they try to redefine the word “solution”, classic EA. This still isn’t fixed.
When you finish the game all the credits are rolling the LEGAL part basically says sold as a work in progress. It was £70 in the UK for a game that is sold unfinished are they are basically throwing it in your face but you don’t see that until you complete it.
That's just disgusting.
@@esotericjahanism5251 it’s EA for you.
Is this true? Because if so, I smell a HUGE class-action lawsuit. They cannot sell a AAA game that is essentially early-access and/or in beta and hide the fact - what the actual FUCK?!

I’ve wanted to buy this game on PS5 for the past year, but I just can’t bring myself to do it knowing all the technical issues it has. I’m sure I’ll finally pull the trigger once it’s dirt cheap.
Betteridge's law of headlines: Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.
I got the game at a big discount in December and the first ting I grappled with was running out of VRAM (on an 8GB video card). I knew there were problems going in, and decided to mod it (which helped generally, but the mod caused consistent crashes in about ~4 cutscenes) and edited pagefile settings as well (I don't know if this helped or not, but I never had a VRAM issue after that).
Basically, an awful experience just to get a game working-ish. Still with some stutters, mostly on the main planet around the saloon. Sometimes I wonder if Unreal Engine has some flaws, because a lot of UE games seem to suffer from issues on PC.
PC gaming is getting to the point where I can't really recommend getting into it anymore. From NVidia's insane pricing, rampant motherboard issues to games that release in such a state, where you can't overpower their issues with sheer performance anymore. Modding is cool, and so are emulators, but if you don't care about them a console (sadly) the better option. I couldn't imagine writing something like this 4 years ago.
I really want to play this game. Doesn't look like I ever will though at this rate.
Already on Jedi Fallen I had micro freezes. Yet tested with a 3080 and 4080 and same observation. So I ended up taking it on the PlayStation 5 to have peace of mind and play fluidly, a shame because even by lowering the settings I had excruciating freezes. So certainly on play not as high in fps or visual quality (although very correct) but at least it's fluid
I thought they fixed the performance issues for the perf. mode on consoles?
Works great on console here is proof ruclips.net/video/LH_HbgzUKBU/видео.html at 60fps (Skip to 9 min) Ray tracing is off but it's hard to tell the difference anyways .
Aren't they working on old gen version? I hope they also fix PC version with it and release some nice patch/update.
So this is a Unreal Engine game if i heard correctly? I also tried Hell let Loose and its also UE and it runs terrible. Maybe its the engine that isn‘t good? Or are there examples of good UE games and if they needed tricks to run smoothly? Maybe UE is bad out of the box?
Add the new Lords to the fallen to that list, absolute clusterfuck bad performance
2023 was a real bad year for Pc players but an amazing year for video games on other platforms.
Still that many bad ports in one year is a really bad sign for future pc games.

"Will It Ever Be Fixed?" - Probably not possible, yet we're cool with it because it's BG3.
I play in fidelity mode (I dont see the point of 60fps on a turn based rpg) on PS5 and had no frame drops. I might be lucky. Texture streaming is atrocious though
@@Etheral101for this game I also chose fidelity mode. I think there is less pop-in if you play it like that.
The thing is BG3 is not an action game, so, while performance issues are unacceptable and annoying, the player's control isn't affected as much as it would in an action game.
Survivor just came to game pass and I can’t even load it on PC. Keep getting a video memory error. Mind you I’m running a MONSTER rig. 4090 i914900k all the works.
Sb said u need to turn off RayTracing for this game
@@lamtung322 I would but I can’t even get to the menu. I tried on my nvidia panel and set everything to low and still couldn’t get to menu. It’s atrocious
i have a gtx 1060 6gb, 16 gb's of ram, and an amd radeon 5 2600, i had some stutters, ultra low graphics, but i loved it, it wasnt that bad. loved the story, gameplay, customization, whatever. I shouldnt have been able to play it considering my pc, but i managed to, even if the game looked like crap sometimes, i loved it. maybe im just a star wars kid and i will love games like these, but im glad i was able to play it.
Alex, Stellar Blade its gonna be... GORGEOUS!!!!
just finished the game on my series x
its good but it randomly crashed 3 or 4 times during my 27hrs gameplay on performance mode
one of crashes happened before i reach a meditation point to save my progress so yes its annoying because i had to repeat like 10min of gameplay again .. great game but it needs more fixes
i recently played fallen order and finished, and really wanted to play the sequel so installed, and doesn't not even an hour of playing and already goes like 4 crash, real shame. have a rtx 3080 Ti
I found a mod that helped a lot with stuttering. At this point it’s really just Koboh that stutters a little. Especially at the station and a few other places.
hey buddy. can you tell me the name of the mod, please?
I got the game a few weeks ago during a 50 percent off sale for $35. I have a 3080 RTX graphics card and I'm NOT impressed with the way the game handles with an average framerate of 30-60 fps. Disappointed.
Here we are many months after premiere and patches arent coming at all since latest one.
Game is amazing but its painfull to see fps drops etc
The weird thing for me and my personal rig, the problems don't start until after it has ran for several hours. Even when on the planet Kobah/Koboh. After it starts though, ooof, bad stutters. Flickering screen, etc. When I go back the next day to play, same thing. It's actually mind blowing why it only starts messing up after playing for a while for me. i914900k and 4080 Super
Same thing happens to me on a 4090 I play for a while then it starts to stutter
@just_a_gamer3420 It's not our hardware. The PC port for this game is just atrocious. It's horribly optimized. The only thing that worked for me was downgrading the quality. Instead of running it on Epic, I set everything to High instead, and it seemed to do the trick. You're still going to have some issues on Koboh with dropping frames here and there no matter what IMO.
I'm enjoying the game, but I installed mods to fix all the potential issues and avoid a blurry image because of the bad AA (it was a very popular mod, so I just added it using a manager) and I'm using Frame Generation, on top of that, with a 120 fps cap to have a smooth frametime. No stutters, no crashes, no nothing. I was like "nice, it looks like they fixed the game. This is perfect". No, I was wrong. I "turned off" some mods to test how bad the game was, and then I met the intro for the first time (I was using a mod to skip it), experienced the stutters, instantly realised the image was extremely blurry (I maxed out all the settings, with RT on, because I'm using a 4080 to play at 1080p), and the game crashed after around 15 minutes. Keep in mind the GPU and CPU load wasn't that high because of the cap I was using.
I can't believe mods are still a must after waiting for so many months to try the game. I got it when it came out, and I forgot to ask for a refund after watching your video about the port, and I can't tell if I was lucky or unlucky. I didn't lose money, because altho I got it full priced, I'm from Argentina, and they started using USD instead of pesos after I got the game, so the current 50% discount price is higher than what the full price was back when I got the game. I still feel bad for supporting a port that was, and still is, this bad. No game should require mods to run well.
So I personally had a lot of issues with constant crashing. I would get a message saying: “Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource… try lowering your resolution…” blah blah.
I have a 7900 XT 20Gb with a 7800x3d and 32Gb of DDR5 Ram, and I’m only running 1440 p on my monitor. The fact that even despite all that I was pretty much locked from progressing past coruscant because of the constant crashing. I would be able to get 5-10 minutes of playtime max.
there really should be a class action lawsuit against EA for both Dead Space Remake and Jedi: Survivor. they dont run well whatsoever and were abandoned while being effectively a defective product being billed as a polished release on both counts
Ryzen 5 3600
Rx 6800 XT
32 GB DDR4 RAM

Never able to pass "game is optimizing" screen..Every single time right after 20-30 seconds later I see that thing black screen pops up then my pc restarts itself..Fallen order is perfectly fine gives 60 fps @ 4k
Been gaming since commodore times and never ever seen such a fucking thing..EA I really hope you gonna bankrupt as soon as possible..
The white flashing “occlusion culling” when moving the camera indoors was so bad and immersion destroying
Everyone should stop buying EA games and just let EA slowly fade away.
Ea has a lot of good games I'm not a fun but I really enjoyed some of their titles
Wrong year to do this. EA games have been good. Besides they're the publisher. Respawn developed the game.
This is only one of several games that have been recently published under EA that are in a state of disarray like this. So yes, there is a pattern and that pattern is EA. Same with Microsoft. @@pixeljauntvr7774
@@pixeljauntvr7774 But the Publisher probably forced them to rush out the game. So its EA's fault.
If its not ready for prime time, just don't facking release it !!!
@pixeljauntvr7774 ah yes because EA is famous for NEVER interfering in the games they publish 😒
fallen order was fine for me, but its when we go to koboh , at least for me, is when i get the freeze, whilst the sound still plays, like what the fuck? 15hrs of gametime and now i cant play anymore. what the hell?
I played through this game after they added DLSS support. Stutters were there, also some graphical glitches like in games from 2000s i.e. objects not interacting with each other properly, your outfits not working properly etc. Still enjoed the game quite a bit, but yeah...
