Steve. Thanks for you advice through these videos. Started out at 40lb and have slowly worked my way up over 5 months to 70lb this morning and my end goal. Slow and steady… I am amazed as I could not even budge 70lb when I first started.
Been eating your vegemite. Put a peep on that snd bring both those clusters together. Maybe put that whisker rest and cheap site on too. That draw length look’s perfect on you. So good to watch you progress back into your old self. You know every one is pulling for you.
LOL @ Folding / Mining rigs sitting on table.... My daughter has this bow, they shoot very well and very good bow for teenagers who are growing and even adults, good ladies bow too.
Good to see you shooting. I noticed that the string doesn’t come close to the string dampener. I was thinking about removing mine. Does it affect performance
Todays result is likely because Stephen is getting stronger and more practiced. If you like the bow, you'll want to shoot it more. The more you shoot the better you get. Archery. Its not about being the best, its about being better than you did last time.
A small change up/ higher in holding weight always makes my groups smaller. Just one half to one full round on my Elite Kure creates a more crisp? release IMO. I do 3-d all summer with 54-56 lbs draw weight. Have no clue what the hold weight is but I have like 99% better cleaner releases than at 51-52 pounds. 3-d is about score and I know poor( er) breaks results in arrows not in the 10+ ring. Anyway, just a few days ago you were doing 17 #’s and now 25. Next week will be maybe 35? I hope. I’m betting within 5 weeks probably at 55#’s. I know where you’re coming from and what you want so be patient and not hurt a shoulder or elbow. Good Luck!👍👍👀
The difference between rifle shooting and archery is: Arrows are reusable ammo. Its easy to shoot £200 worth of rifle ammo and its gone. The bonus with firearms is... The rifles I shoot rarely decrease in value. A 15 year old bow even if its been looked after or has never been shot is almost worthless. The people in archery are generally nicer and more helpful.
So good to see you shooting again
I'm so glad you're getting stronger and are getting back to shooting! Keep improving.
So good to see you slinging arrows, again!!! Take care of yourself!!
