Great video, looks like a great place to create a community. How good are Skool at protecting the content you add to the platform? If you're uploading the content via youtube, do your students on skool have access to the link of the video?
Simple and minimalistic. I love it! No distractions, No ads! I like the Circle platform two. More features for the same price. What's your thoughts on Cirlce?
Circle seems to be the other best option for sure. I’ve attended a few programs hosted on circle and enjoyed it. I’m not sure the layout is quite as intuitive. What other features does circle have? Would love to know more.
@@BrianEllwood being able to create like categories of feed is a huge one for me as I want to have multiple interests and skills where the community can post and share experiences
Nice breakdown. Can you talk about the course pay wall feature as well. I'm in a coaching group that uses skool ans the skool app is now live. And it's great. But I pay them outside of skool to be in their group. I'd like a one-stop shop with payments built in etc. How can I make MONEY with this platform is my big concern. SUBBED. Thanks man.
I think the payment feature for Skool is still in beta. As far as making money goes, tell me a little more about what you do for people…do you have a coaching program right now?
@@BrianEllwood I’ve been a gym owner/coach for around 13 years. Looking to expand into more online based/cohort coaching. I’m in a skool group for business mentorship focused in the fitness space and love the platform. Just don’t want to daisy chain a bunch of systems together. I like the minimalist approach that skool offers but trying to figure out the systems required to grant people access, monitor their active subscription OUTSIDE of skool, and automate the onboarding etc. I have a stripe account that I’ve been using for a while but not positive how to make the member management side effective.
Im in my Skool free trial and I'm curious if they've fixed the issue you mentioned about upgrading people from free to paid within ONE account. Has that been fixed? Because I see where I can offer one course "to the whole community" and others have to be paid or at a certain level. PLease advise.
Still not sure. I am more the old school: "Not your code & domain, not your business" type. Have a few people seen switching over from Discord communities to Skool... The first impression was just confusion about the layout, and kind of annoyance about the updates I'm suddenly getting bombarded with per mail. Still not sure, If I should just build my own system. But maybe it needs some time to get into it, will see.
@mayachy3518 there isn't another platform like skool. What i meant by that is skool is still in its beginning phase, it came out towards the end of 2019. Skool right now makes it easy for anyone that isn't tech savy to use and launch a very profitable online business.

Hi! Since you made this, have any of the 'desired features' that you mention in the latter half of your video been added?

Great video. I wish you did not have music in the background.
But what is the actual content? What is the “community” talking about?
totally agree. Seems like a great new place..
