Something fascinating about the Weather Channel back then. Maybe it's all the colors, the graphics, and the fairly laid-back talking.

You mean like a rainbow peacock from NBC was on the white uppercase letters KVLY except the letter v is a red check mark while they’re beside the white news number 11 and on the black words the valley’s choice for local news! In a white box before Mick KJar points to the tornado in west Fargo, west Bismarck, and west Minot in North Dakota on the meteorologist @ 10:00 am for this hour rerunning on NBC in 2000?

Didn't realize some cable operators still used the older local forecast blue screen in '92. I know as early as 1991, our local cable provider had the local forecast graphics with pictures for the radar, current conditions, moon phases, etc, and the voice over that had phrases including "The current radar showing any precipitation in your area. Intensity is indicated by the color code at the top of the screen."

Keep the videos coming. They are awesome. Brings me back to the better days. Any full hour or longer videos of any of the big storms of the 90s?
