The amount of 90s Weather Channel I watch is probably a sign of something unhealthy lol. Oh well, it's my therapy and I'm thankful for it. I appreciate all the uploads.
Ahhh yes back when TWC was watchable and talked about weather. You could watch it for an hour and not even blink at the repetitiveness. Major events took precedence where today it's rush to get to commercials. Now it's a news magazine with pretty faces and only a couple veteran meteorologists.
The last half of this is ridiculously true. They’ve gone for money.
The NWS used to actually recommend watching these guys.

The original crew that worked there now call it The Weather takes a back seat Channel. Miss this TWC. Now its all hype.

I remember when TWC did weather in the classroom segments. They were a much better channel back in the 90’s.
My cousins used to mock me because I relaxed to TWC. 30 years later, I'm so proud of myself for being the "weird" kid.

I can’t remember if I ever watched TWC regularly as a kid. One thing I do know, I genuinely enjoyed tuning into 95.7 the WAVE in Houston and found my love for smooth jazz at a very young age. And this is the pinnacle of that. Thanks for posting

I really don't know when I started watching The Weather Channel. My dad may have watched it occasionally while he was channel surfing. I think I remember it had to have been in the late 90s. I don't remember those local forecast bumpers though.
