    ASICS has really turned it around these past few years. I haven’t worn ASICS in over a decade because of what I felt “outdated technology,” but after hearing all the buzz about the novablast I had to give them another chance. So glad I did because they are so fun to run in. It’s really too bad they discontinued the Glideride because I wanted to try that out as well. I’m still waiting for the superblast to drop in price!😂

      The 3's were and still are. Glideride were amazing.

      I also wantedto try this after recently discovering the model. Sadly, nowhere to be found in EU 46.

      I’m one of those runners which want a mostly minimal shoe. All that “technology” is mostly just talk

      You have Sky already? I hope to get ahold of it soon. I think these guys RW just put it up for sale.

    I just got my very own pair of Gel-Nimbus 26's on 3/1/24 and I cant believe how light they are sometimes I have to check inside the shoe box because it feels like it's completely empty inside might be the most comfortable shoe ever on my feet

      @@chrisbell1766 Me too. Don‘t know what your previous running shoes were, for me, just a sometimes runner, it was a GT-2000 9.
      The Nimbus 26 has an extremely slapping sensation, no matter if you heel strike or forefoot strike, the shoe slaps onto the ground and is extremely loud! Very annoying! That is from the better rubber coverage of the outsole compared to Nimbus 25 i read + in general the wide platform.
      The ride it said to be better in Nimbus 25 because in N26 the outsole is harder + the midsole is softer.
      I really sink in with my 90kg.
      I really prefer the Kayano Lite 3 over my expensive Nimbus 26 - thinking of selling them before they get heavily discounted.
      Also my Novablast 4 TR is beeing revisited by me because of a bottoming out problem after 60/70min?
      I have to test again.
      Also my Superblasts waiting for their longer run turn.
      Probably the NB4 TR will also get sold.
      + GT2000 10+11: One would have to go, since i don‘t need the shoe twice.
      The 10 rides pretti well and all and the 11 is wider and stiffer. Worse ride.
      For me the wide plattforms are for nothing, because my feet are healthy and well, maximum medium width,my foot rolls perfectly neutral and the hard midsole sh‘t just goes into my knees, hips and bones.
      I hate that wide hard sh‘t!

    Will there be a Glideride 4? I have the Glideride 3 and it is the best shoe i have ever used and done marathons with....a neutral shoe wit a nylon plate and a bit of stability.....allot of runners complaimed about the nimbus 25 due to the stack height that went up i saw allot of runners that allmost seems to pronate( feet fell inwards allot) and they complained about it as if the nimbus felt loose and i must mention that it is runners with neutral feet that i am talking about

      There are rumours of a new version later this year, I've seen it called the Glideride Max. But I agree, the Glideride 3 was by favorite shoe ever and they should've kept selling it. The unique rocker geometry and stiff forefoot + cushion combination was perfect especially for long runs. Unfortunately can't find them anywhere.

  • @dorins3787

    They ruined the novablast. V3 has been very good. V4 is crap. Unfortunately. It is heavier and worst than 2 and 3. Novablast WAS versatile. Now looking for alternatives.

    • @philipppuchner1115
      @philipppuchner1115 2 месяца назад

      I like my Novablast 4 TR more than the Novablast 2. It is a more rounded shoe.
      What I don't like is that Asics makes every shoe just broader for "stability" or whatever. A little help with fatigue induced pronation would be nice, but there are just Kayano and GT2000, where the newest GT 2000 12 is hard as a brick and unrunable! And I have 90kg. v10 rolls perfectly and v11 got broader and stiffer.
      Due to all those broadness, also in my Nimbus 26, the shoes slap to the ground and are too loud, no matter how you try to run.
      A oldschool GT-2000 10 is way better!

      Nothing compares with the original novablast..that was the best one.. don’t know why they need to make these stupid changes for every iteration… what a bunch of idiots

      @@mdny7788 OK, i always read that 1+2 are bouncy and 3+4 not that much any more.
      So i got my hands on a brand new 2 and... ok, "normal" shoe. I find it after 30min to bounce less. Or maybe I am too heavy with 90kg?
      I also read multiple times, that NB2 is way better than NB1 as a total.
      And: where to get a new NB1?

    • @TomUK7
      @TomUK7 5 месяцев назад +1

      I do. As a versatile daily trainer it's comfortable, stable and light. I get a better lockdown in the Cumulus 25 than NB4. I work a manual job and having extra comfort when I go running is appreciated while still retaining a bit of bounce. NB4 pushes me to run harder and faster which can actually result in fatigue. It's not necessarily best shoe for everyone.
      Ps. I should probably add that for some reason the Nimbus 26 is £180 here in the UK which is prohibitively expensive imo.
