I totally agree with you ,with regards to diminishing returns...I watched your video and decided on a nucleus.... But there was no stock so had a look a little further up the food chain. Eventually settled on a Sentier VR....for me it was the best in terms of value for money. Z2 forks.11- 51 better breaks etc... Good stuff but not so spendy that it could not be serviced or have parts replaced. It's a really tricky game getting the best value for money with breaking the bank.
The sentient vr is a cracking bike even the colour this year is so cool the grey fade is my cup of tea . But the weird thing about the oil slick is my wife's bike really suits it because of the colour etc but it just wasn't looking right on the sonder.
I totally agree with Mike about the oil slick.Think I may have mentioned it as well, not sure. However It's not my thing....Think the bike looks sweet in concrete grey and black...yellow is the flip. Not to much...just a bit...even the edc tool in yellow would be ok. But overall think the bike looks way way better as it stands. Class mate....class.
Hi bud you seem to be the only person who has showed any interest in this giveaway. So if you want the stem bud it is yours . Email your address to me . rsneddon05@googlemail.com
@@richardsneddon2976 first time i win a giveaway! thank you so much! i think it will be a great upgrade for my vitus nucleus. my email starts with "nep" so you know its me.
Dan check out the mud hugger guards they look pretty similar as well . I know that is the ones the guys on gmbn use . Also the ones on my nucleus are quite good value as well the da bomb ones they seem to look quite good on the bike . They were £10 from Ebay for a pack of 2 . Also guys I have never mentioned if using those type they come flat put them in the oven only for 30 secs or on top of a roasting hot radiator and it makes them easier to shape
@@richardsneddon2976 how did i miss it lol. of course its the staffies! i have a 12 year old Pekingese mix rescue and he's still going strong! hope your dogs are healthy and strong. cheers mate!

I am not on Facebook bud . Yea bud it turns out oil slick doesn't suit every bike . Yet my wife's bike looks good. But the more parts I was putting on it I seemed to think the bike certainly wasn't suited to it bud
@@richardsneddon2976 I don't put a lot on Facebook but always put my walks and rides on Strava then Facebook so my friends can see them Some of the oil slick parts on Chain Reaction look good and expensive but still not for me Keeping the Vitus just red black and a few white bits on tyres and forks.

I must say.... I like that mud guard. Never used them before. Yours look nice small and discreet... What is it? We're you get it?
Hi bud the mud guard is the one that came with the suntour fork .
@@richardsneddon2976 that looks so good! It's $25 on its own. I found a nice zip tie mudguard on AliExpress for less than $4
