I thought the remake was okay, it definitely has some issues, but I had fun with it and enjoyed the game... Compared to RE2/RE4 remake it definitely feels very lackluster in how short it is (seems like it was maybe rushed through development and had a lot of content cut,) not to mention the Nemesis chase scenes can get pretty old and tiresome. It's a strange game because I actually quite liked it, but it's way too short and deserved to be fleshed out more. I felt kinda ripped off when I got to the end so quickly, I ended up playing through it multiple times to try out some of those items you can get from the shop menu. That added a bit of replayability to the game, but certainly wasn't enough to redeem it.
@@grizzlywhisker RE2 Remake didn't seem like a long game either, but you can feel it was developed with care and it doesn't feel like a rushed game, and also for example the Gib Mechanics of zombies in RE2 Remake is great, you can cut all the limbs from zombies and force them to barely crawl without any limbs, but in RE3 Remake you cannot really gib any zombies, very rarely you can blow off their arm or head. Also, RE3 Remake development team wasn't the one that made RE2 and 4 remakes. CAPCOM disrespected the fans of RE3 because they decided to focus their attention on making the garbage RE Village (which is nothing more than a discount version of FPS RE4 game) and it's really stupid that after the release of RE Village RE4 Remake got released instead of RE CV Remake for example. Two very identical games got released one after the other and that sucks, although in RE4 Remake the exploring is actually very fun, while in the Village it's complete boredom and utter trash. RE3 Remake should have been made like RE4 Remake. it could have been the chance to explore RC deeply and battle many enemies and solve many puzzles and also in my opinion RE3 has the best mercenaries which were also cut and replaced with a garbage game nobody asked for RE Resistance. It's pathetic how CAPCOM gives zero fucks about games that feature Jill Valentine as the lead and pretty much also try to avoid games that also feature other female protagonists such as CV. I actually had way more fun playing RE Revelations 1 and 2 than RE7 and The Garbage Village.
@@Resident_Legal Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of RE7/8 either, and I didn't even touch the Resistance game that came with RE3. The first person perspective of 7/8 is a major turn off to me, I just really like the classic third person perspective for these games. Not to mention the story and setting of 7/8 doesn't really feel like it fits with Resident Evil to me, and they have that new weird version of Chris Redfield who is totally unlikeable. I thought RE7 and The Village were mediocre games, they weren't bad or anything, they just weren't what I wanted from Resident Evil. I'd much rather see the team who worked on RE2/4 remakes do a Code Veronica game or just a whole new 3rd person game in the RE Engine with the classic characters (Leon/Chris/Jill/Claire,) but I'm not really sure what to expect from Capcom after they sort of teased Wesker at the end of RE4 remake (that cutscene made me think they would remake RE5 instead of CV, but I have no clue...) 🤷♂
That's the most intimidating Nemesis in comparison to the ones on (Umbrella Chronicles, Operation raccon city and Resident evil 3 remake). Back then there weren't any walkthoughs to help you when you had to solve puzzles and find codes (good old times).
I played this when I was a kid and I was so afraid of Nemesis. I played it now as an adult, seeing the graphics and that I have played other scary games as well, when I look at Nemesis now I'm still afraid, yup.
Honestly this is a lot like watching my Brother play this game, he couldn't work out the dodge mechanic and the 1 or two shot and run rule and regularly forgot where he was going also, thanks for the true nostalgia, thankfully i did get to play this game myself.

While constantly running the narrow corridors, a sentiment of grief and fear keeps in your mind. This game pushes over you a true chaotic atmospheric. It's very sad what the series become in the latest years.
I couldn't have said that better 👊 I think the situation was way more sad when Resident Evil 5 and 6 came out though, now at least they make horror games again and not straight up action from start to end. But I definitely agree with you with the fact that the OG games era will always be the best and I would gladly return to those type of spooky atmospheric games with fixed camera angles, they're unique 🔥

For me this game has a lot of sentimental value since it was the first Resident Evil I started and finished by myself and I was 8/9 years old. It is the best ever for me too 🔥

From Nemesis appearing right at the beginning, Carlos right after, all the cut content and hallway areas, the lack of puzzles... It's the worst Remake ever done. These HD remasters are amazing. The time put into them is incredible. I prefer the Re2 one though since it's a much stronger game. I always found Nemesis to be the weakest of the old school games.
I'll bring original Resident Evil 2 with HD textures very soon 🔥 anyway I can agree with you about the game, RE2 is way more solid than Nemesis, but RE3 has a big sentimental value to me, it was my first one ever 💪

Not counting the Nemesis fights, the hard mode in RE3 is almost ridiculously easy. Jill can use all sorts of weapons (handguns, quick handguns, shotguns, grenade launchers with all types of rounds including the freeze rounds, magnums etc.), plenty of ammunition and gun powders, many healing items and, to top it off, she can easily kill all types of zombies even with a slow handgun, sparing a maximum of 8-10 bullets. Now compare that to hard mode in RE2 PC version, where a SINGLE zombie often won't be knocked to the floor (let alone be killed) even after eating 20-25 handgun bullets, and where especially the female hero Claire has a more than a hard time killing this most common type of enemy in the game with the measly, slow and ineffective bowgun or grenade launcher, and you'll notice the difference in difficulty straight away. Still, RE3 with all the outside fights and street sceneries is as captivating as it gets, and the same goes for the hospital and clock tower sections and, of course, the music. Seeing this HD remastered version of the 1999 original is an icing on the cake, so a big THANK YOU goes to everyone who put their precious time into creating this gem!
You should look up Nemesis knife fights. There are areas where Nemesis can’t touch you while you knife him. Saves ammo and health but it takes a while.
So many people here acting like they were touched inappropriately as a child by the RE3 remake. Sure, it needed to be longer and to have some of the cut content from the original put back into it, but overall it's perfectly good game.
I strongly disagree, RE3 remake completely changes the original story removing every memorable moment without even replacing it with something valuable, plus there are way too many moments where the game wastes your time by making you hold the stick up or press a random button while you're actually just watching a cutscene, just to call out a few issues. The biggest letdown is how they made Nemesis: boring, predictable and almost entirely scripted. Selling something like that for 60 bucks is a joke imo. As a remake it is terrible, and as a game it's poorly done as well if you ask me. To each their own mate, I respect your opinion, but personally I don't even ackowledge its existence, there's no soul in the world convincing me that RE3R is a perfectly good game. On that, we are both on the same page. That being said, thanks for the video of this HD version of the original RE3. I had no idea it existed, and I'm going to go download it right now. I seriously haven't played the original since it was released back in 1999 (shit, 25 years ago?!?), so perhaps replaying it now in glorious HD will alter my opinion of the remake. We shall see, but any game with Jill Valentine as a playable character can't be all bad in my book. 😁

I've been mean to get me a playstation one and track down all recent evil games all three The only Resident Evil games I got is Resident Evil survivor and Resident Evil operation record city. And my old Resident Evil 2 action. Figures leone s Kennedy. And the liquor monster.
I am from Brazil, we just wanted that for the official Remake of Resident evil 3 all this with 1° Graphics until we could add something else without changing anything because this game is surreal, beautiful, wonderful simply a work of art, epic !!!!! unfortunately I think they should relaunch the official remake with the title of Resident evil 3 nemesis 100% Remake !!!
From time to time I find myself booking up the old ps2 and playing this game. Capcom really had an opportunity with the remake but did not capture it. Such a shame.
I love this game, even though i got stuck in the train puzzle for almost a month since there are no walk-through available in our place and I am only allowed to play very limited time a day 😂 scared the shit out of me whenever i heard Staaars 😂

23:23 I always feel bad for Brad, he always considered and laughed at as coward, never get his chance to show his courage, decency, nobility. If you come to think of it, you don't become a special forces pilot (piloting is dangerous by itself, not to mention special forces service) just because of money, so I think he just needs a true friend.
The way he ends up here is terrible, I remember feeling genuinely sorry for him the first time I went through RE3, on the other hand he also works as a way to make you feel threatened by Nemesis considering how terrified and agitated he is, and that worked great in my opinion 🔥

You definitely were panicking fighting Nemesis in front the the RPD. tried loading your pistol after loading it, tried to shoot him with an empty shotgun, lol ahh the anxiety he creates to this day.

There are two ways to go in rpd 🙂 1 enter the police station meaning you won't fight nemesis 🤔 2 or fight the monster this is recommended cause if you choose this you can fight nemesis + get Brad's stars card 😁
5:52: Big mistake. You should have combined the 2 powders first, creating the AA powder, and then get 35 bullets from it (instead of the x2 15 bullets you got by creating bullet from both the A powders)

This game deserved a way better remake! It's my forever favorite RE :)

These old games were so good I played them 100 times over. I only played the remake ONCE.

We don't even have all the special costumes for Jill from the Original game...

These HD remasters are amazing. The time put into them is incredible. I prefer the Re2 one though since it's a much stronger game. I always found Nemesis to be the weakest of the old school games.
I'll bring original Resident Evil 2 with HD textures very soon 🔥 anyway I can agree with you about the game, RE2 is way more solid than Nemesis, but RE3 has a big sentimental value to me, it was my first one ever 💪
RE3 did good at expanding the sense of scale of the outbreak, RE1-2 have better stories and locations but 3 is tying up loose ends and thats good too!

for such a classic game from the 90s amazing they make it into high resolution the graphics are so smooth and clear!
There's some backgrounds looking like a drawing but it happens rarely and they nailed it anyway 🔥
RE3 Remake was a dumpster fire. Glad I still own OG RE3, my personal favorite in the franchise.

Not counting the Nemesis fights, the hard mode in RE3 is almost ridiculously easy. Jill can use all sorts of weapons (handguns, quick handguns, shotguns, grenade launchers with all types of rounds including the freeze rounds, magnums etc.), plenty of ammunition and gun powders, many healing items and, to top it off, she can easily kill all types of zombies even with a slow handgun, sparing a maximum of 8-10 bullets. Now compare that to hard mode in RE2 PC version, where a SINGLE zombie often won't be knocked to the floor (let alone be killed) even after eating 20-25 handgun bullets, and where especially the female hero Claire has a more than a hard time killing this most common type of enemy in the game with the measly, slow and ineffective bowgun or grenade launcher, and you'll notice the difference in difficulty straight away. Still, RE3 with all the outside fights and street sceneries is as captivating as it gets, and the same goes for the hospital and clock tower sections and, of course, the music. Seeing this HD remastered version of the 1999 original is an icing on the cake, so a big THANK YOU goes to everyone who put their precious time into creating this gem!
Welp maybe the hardest thing in hard mode is the Nemesis fight of course
You should look up Nemesis knife fights. There are areas where Nemesis can’t touch you while you knife him. Saves ammo and health but it takes a while.
So many people here acting like they were touched inappropriately as a child by the RE3 remake. Sure, it needed to be longer and to have some of the cut content from the original put back into it, but overall it's perfectly good game.
I strongly disagree, RE3 remake completely changes the original story removing every memorable moment without even replacing it with something valuable, plus there are way too many moments where the game wastes your time by making you hold the stick up or press a random button while you're actually just watching a cutscene, just to call out a few issues. The biggest letdown is how they made Nemesis: boring, predictable and almost entirely scripted. Selling something like that for 60 bucks is a joke imo.
As a remake it is terrible, and as a game it's poorly done as well if you ask me.
To each their own mate, I respect your opinion, but personally I don't even ackowledge its existence, there's no soul in the world convincing me that RE3R is a perfectly good game.

That being said, thanks for the video of this HD version of the original RE3. I had no idea it existed, and I'm going to go download it right now. I seriously haven't played the original since it was released back in 1999 (shit, 25 years ago?!?), so perhaps replaying it now in glorious HD will alter my opinion of the remake. We shall see, but any game with Jill Valentine as a playable character can't be all bad in my book. 😁

23:23 I always feel bad for Brad, he always considered and laughed at as coward, never get his chance to show his courage, decency, nobility. If you come to think of it, you don't become a special forces pilot (piloting is dangerous by itself, not to mention special forces service) just because of money, so I think he just needs a true friend.
The way he ends up here is terrible, I remember feeling genuinely sorry for him the first time I went through RE3, on the other hand he also works as a way to make you feel threatened by Nemesis considering how terrified and agitated he is, and that worked great in my opinion 🔥

You definitely were panicking fighting Nemesis in front the the RPD. tried loading your pistol after loading it, tried to shoot him with an empty shotgun, lol ahh the anxiety he creates to this day.
You are 100% right my friend, I got nervous because I wasn't playing good at all and I kinda freaked out near the end cause I thought I was gonna die and I was losing my mind because I was recording 😂that's easily one of my worst boss fights ever, that's one of the reasons I love good old OG Nemesis, I faced him hundreds of times but it's different everytime 😂

1 enter the police station meaning you won't fight nemesis 🤔
2 or fight the monster this is recommended cause if you choose this you can fight nemesis + get Brad's stars card 😁

5:52: Big mistake. You should have combined the 2 powders first, creating the AA powder, and then get 35 bullets from it (instead of the x2 15 bullets you got by creating bullet from both the A powders)

There's that small sequence at the beginning of RE3 which is first person, there's also a mod for RE2 to make it FPS, I always was curious about it
