Counterclockwise 2001? That’s rare!
To all the T-128 haters, im fairly certain 2001s are on average 130 Decibels, where as the T-128 is well... 128 Decibels. The T-128 careies farther than 2001s because T-128s are lower pitched. Due to the extremely close proximity of the T-128 and FS 2001, the 2001 will be noticably louder at a closer range.
T-128s arent trash.
FYI these got upgraded and do wail now. Test on Wednesday.

i often look through your Texas siren map ya help edit and. I have found the siren yall couldn't find in Cherokee Texas. I dont know small sirens enough to identify the model
as your the only editor of the map that i recognized, i figured i tell you.
unless yall already found it idk but its on the roof at the back of the volunteer fire department. this is as of 2013 so it could easily be long gone.

Why are the 2 sirens so close together?
Probably a replacement. My city is replacing it's T-128s with Whelens but currently still uses the entire older system regardless of siren proximity.
Either that or they happen to just be placed near each other, I checked Google maps btw

Definitely the 2001 lmao. It was about a +/- 200 feet difference from the 2001 and T-128 respectively.
200ft wouldn’t have done much. If you were beyond about 800ft from both, then you’d only be talking about a few decibels worth at the most. The T-128 is either just that crap at carrying, or the conditions at the time favored the 2001.

Just stop it. At least a siren is worth it, it doesn't have to be that quiet, but at the same time doesn't have to be that loud either.
@@mnsirensT-128s aren't nearly as garbonzo as they are made out to be. There is a reason they are appealing. They are allegedly capable of long distance sound travel. Rowletts older sirens despite their bad condition were audible during the tornado, and you could actually hear the entire system which gave a ton of people the creeps when I showed them.
T-128s are 2 Decibels less than a 2001+130.

Oh dang, you were at Sachse! I was there too but I met up with NTX Sirenvators and NTXstorms at a T-128 instead. Like how you got the dual shots though!
