Katherout My dream job is working as a Medical Sonographer in a high risk pregnancy hospital. I’m currently in college right now to get my degree. ☺️ I can’t wait to graduate.
When you said that being tired is not really an excuse because you’re tired all the time, I think that’s actually a good mentality, in a way. Preach! 🙏
So cool to learn about post-grad life rn, I'm graduating in a couple months! Would love to hear more about your specific role, although totally understand there will be limitations with that given you work for a big company with important clients etc.
Regarding 5:46, San Francisco Landmark #193 is The Baker & Hamilton Building. It was used by Pacific Hardware and Steel Company from 1918 until 1981. Later it was used by Organic, Inc. Currently it is used by Adobe Systems, Inc.
Hi I just want you to know that the first thing I noticed in this video was how beautiful your eyes are not your acne. As a fellow acne sufferer I wanted to let you know this.
Definitely continue doing these vlog style videos. Maybe even throw in what your weekends look like. Also, I love how in your videos I find at least one new song that I like and add to my Spotify playlist.
Wow I remember finding your channel during the move-ins and college hacks back at your USC days 😭😭😭 Helped me survive my first semester at college aha. Happy to see your growth :) ❤️
You should invest in blue-light glasses that can protect your eyes from blue light from a computer. Apparently blue light messes up your sleeping pattern so it may be a good investment!
I’m a couple months out from finishing a 10 month course of accutane as a 25/26 year old suffering from similar hormonal cystic acne all over my chin. I went back and forth about whether I wanted to do it and let me say I do not regret it one bit!!! Truly wish I had done it as soon as I started suffering. But however you decide to move forward isn’t wrong :)
Not only you dealing with acne in far adulthood. Cudos for sharing and being brave to show just how it is. I hope acne give up some day for me and also for you. Nice vlog!
I had acne really bad growing up. I found that there are really good medications you can get prescribed privately which can clear it up. It's strong stuff but really helps your self-respect and wellbeing
Love the updated routine! I currently intern in the bay and was able to visit Adobe’s headquarters in San Jose and liked how colorful and vibrant the different floors are !
Do they have lockers you can use for your gym at work? I think a cool video idea would be a 'what I pack in my work bag.' I feel like if I had to pack my gym & work clothes & my makeup for the whole day every morning I would forget stuff a lot
LOVE this video. I work full time too, but will be transitioning to grad school in the fall and it is nice knowing that someone else has similar routines and lives the "office life". You are very inspiring!
As an adult, I only occasionally get hormonal acne (love being a woman sometimes ha) but when I do it explodes across my chin in giant red bumps. While I currently have a perfectly clear face, it is not always like this and would love to see a video on normalising it!
Im so glad to see all of your successes post-grad! I've been watching your videos since I was a sophomore in highschool (im going into junior year of college!) and I've received so much guidance through your advice and experiences. I just wanted to say thank you for all of the content you have put out over the years. I really feel that your videos helped get me where I am today (especially since im a first gen college student). Oddly enough, I was inspired to leave this comment after seeing the company I'll be interning with this summer, in your video (Advent). While I unfortunately won't be at the San Fran location, it reminded me how much I've benefited from your channel. Also wishing you the best in your acne struggles, hopefully the derm comes in clutch
OMG...What a dream to work at Adobe... I'm going to Multimedia College next year and i wonder where i will end up after i graduate... Will be so interesting..
Had the worst acne in my 20s and being a guy it never occurred to me to hide it with makeup. Finally got an Accutane treatment and it worked quite well but I still get small breakouts from time to time. Hang in there!
For acne I believe there can be a host of factors but personally I would research diet. That seemed to work for me. I also think if you can get rid of it all once then it is relatively easy to keep it away for good.
i was studying for my final this morning when you posted but i'm done and i'm hereee. you are missed! ♡ i just wanna say too that i'm almost done with my fourth year in college. i remember finding you on my first year! time sure flies 💕
I had this SAME thing happen. I was taking medication for so long that worked but it was a blood thinner so I didn’t want to anymore. I started using r+f unblemish and it’s cleaned my skin completely. It’s expensive but worth it if you don’t want medication!
So glad you’re back making videos more often :’) if you’re into it, i’d love to see a video on your vegetarian diet and workout routine and what helped you at the very beginning (I’m vegan and just starting to exercise and I’m not even sure where to start and how to eat for health)
Hi Katherine! Just wanted to say thanks for making this video - I'm interning at the Adobe SF office this summer (2020) and you helped me get a little bit of insight in Adobe life :)
Didn't notice your acne until you said something, but cutting out dairy worked wonders for me (and many of my friends). The lower half of the face indicates hormone imbalance too. There are things you can do to naturally treat acne from the inside out. Also, love this kind of video!
Would really like a video about adult acne even if you haven't resolved it yet. I would love to see a video from someone still dealing with it, just with how you are coping, what you do to deal with it etc. I know the struggles!
Ooo please do a video about your acne once it’s starts to improve. Over the pas couple months I have been struggling with some as well and nothing has been working to get rid of it! I’d also love to see a video of like your work outfits, maybe where you get them tips for finding good pieces something like that. I need some inspiration for some business clothes and you always look so great!
great video, glad to have followed you through college now post-grad. i would love to see a video about work clothes, where you shop & what are good pieces to own, how you style, etc.
Could you talk a little bit about what you did during your college summers, how you prepared for post college life, and how you go about budgeting and organizing money (idk if you took out any loans for college like me, but it would be nice to see like a plan for paying them off bc you seem like you would be on top of that shit) those maybe wouldn’t all be one video but I would love some of that info! :^)
hey! DEFINITELY make a video about skincare, acne, and normalizing it! I struggle with severe acne as well and made a much larger mental toll than people think...thanks for sharing
Not sure if you watch Arden Rose but she has a similar acne video and just posted one about her accurate experience - she’s on a low dosage but for a longer period of time. Honestly for me birth control did WONDERS for my hormonal acne, I wish I would have gone on it in high school had I known. Differin OTC now is also amazeee.
Katherine, can you do a video about standard of living in SF? As in how much you are paying for rent, food, what would be a good place to rent that you would recommend, etc. I'm almost graduating too and I'm wondering about all of those.
The acne that you got is mainly around the chin and on the low parts of the face, which means it's linked to the reproductive system and hormonal imbalance. Maybe you should check first with your gyno to see if everything's ok with the ovaries, and also check your hormone levels. Dermatologists are nice but I think it's better to look for a root cause instead of just trying to treat topically. Acne is often a sign that something is not alright on the inside and there's actually a chart of the face where breakouts happen for a reason - I believe the forehead is linked to a poor digestive system, the cheeks vary (allergies, lungs, stomach) and the chin is hormonal.. Best of luck xx
I also think a weekly spending diary video could be cool. Im interning at a tech company in similarly high col area so Im sure I can learn a lot from you. Also I may have missed something, but do you drive to work and then take the train back?
So nice to have a new video from ya! I graduate from college a year from now and I am still unsure of what I want out of a job. Looking at companies that I want to work for after graduation!
How did you find a job in Silcon Valley that's 8-5??? That is really ideal. The majority of Internet companies in China has a "996" working hour system: 9am-9pm, six days a week
@@Katherout I graduated in 2018 with a Comm major and got a job in sales (still currently looking for other jobs), and learning the ins and outs of the sales industry. It'd be really insightful if you did a video about what your job is, but I understand if you want to keep it more private. Adobe was told to apply but I don't feel qualified enough yet

I also have dealt with acne unfortunately:// Do you ever use protein powder or eat protein bars like Cliff Bars? The whey in them can easily cause major breakouts because it is derived from dairy. After significantly reducing my dairy intake, I immediately saw major changes in my acne specifically around the chin and jaw area.
I would love to learn more about your job specifically, if you can talk about it! And then also, the makeup you use to cover up your acne!!!! it looks so good, Mine is always just a hot mess- without the hot =p
Good grief! How long is your commute?! Driving for a while, hopping on the train for a half hour, and then walking for who knows how long? Wow, you're a trooper Haha. Actually that shouldn't be surprising, because rent in the Bay Area is so out of control, that it is practically a requirement to have a punishingly long commute. I'm so thankful for my remote job :D hehehe
Hi Katherine! I’m graduating next spring and would love to work in Silicon Valley. Do you have any tips on how to get hired at Adobe? I’d love to connect with you
HI welcome to my 9-5 life! Leave me a comment with what your dream job would be :)

UGH yes adult acne SUCKS. I just started going to a derm too and girl I feel youuuuuu
Love this! I was planning on doing my own day in the life but at my own internship 🙌🏼
Very insightful! I love that you take a book on the train, and totally get the acne thing... but you're still glowing!
