The fact that this is really lost on Joffrey is not surprising. Him not realizing the Tywin will just pull a Walder Frey but on a grander scale. Tywin did not hide in Casterly Rock cause he was a coward but the opposite, you see all the other Kingdoms are fighting each other, there by weakening themselves. Tywin chose wisely to conserve his army and people lives and resources, also the fact that Joffrey not realizing that Jaime is a member of the kingsguards and was in fact a hostage to the Mad King, in all but name would have been executed if Tywin rebelled. If Rhaegar had won he would immediately side with the winning side which is the Targaryan's. But when Robert won Tywin weighted his bets on the Rebellion. An pulled a Trojan horse maneuver on the MadKing, by tricking him to open the gates to the capital. An Tywin in effect ended the war, an in away albeit Jaime saved the capital from the Mad Kings, wild fire plot. Tywin saw the opportunity and he seized it in either side, and he took it the second it presence itself, cause everyone was just a invisible chess pieces for him. Tywin showing his contempt for Joffrey, right in front of his dead body, telling Tonmen that Joffrey was indeed a horrible king, and jumped at the chance to happily council Tonmen moving forward.
The funny thing is I’ve never really hated him that much. I don’t like him for sure but I hated other characters way more like Cersei or Balon or Ramsay. He gets too much hate
@@Boorag the thing is with Cersei, they were moments where you could feel sorry for here like her walk of atonement for example. With Balon, I don’t they he did enough evil actions for us to hate him above Joffrey. And Ramsay, they just basically did what they did with Joffrey but tried to go over the top. It just didn’t hit the same
21:03...........There ain't no halo effect for Criston Cole from HOTD, that's for sure. 😂 Sometimes when I'm watching HOTD and thinking about how much I can't stand him, I remember that physically speaking he is actually a good looking guy, and it blows my mind because in my eyes, and the eyes of most other viewers, he is such an ugly person.

I was just pointing out how sometimes, a good looking character can be so unlikable, that they can lose any possibility of gainng the halo effect and that's exactly what I think happened with Criston Cole.

The thing is he’s the king and holds the most power. So his actions affect many people. By his age, you should already have basic empathy naturally. But Joffrey, ain’t a normal functional human. And we see that from a very young age.
