- Dr. Igor Oblonkov AKA His Grace Patri Prabhu shares his idea of love and peace. A former Russian armed forces commander turned into a sage and spreads the message of love and peace, helps people to understand what happiness means and how to achieve it. Watch the talk to know what made a trained to kill commando turn into a messenger of love and peace. Born in a well to do family in Ukraine, Dr. Oblonkov, now popular as Patri Das is a voluntarily retired Commando Officer of the Russian army. He is an epitome of versatility and dexterity. A journalist, Professor of Psychology, Multi-lingual Mentor, International motivational speaker, Bhakti Yogi, Visionary, Mystic, Spiritual Leader, Social worker... the list just goes on! In the words of the man himself “ My good fortune arose the I first met the Disciple of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder of ISKCON”. From there, the journey of enlightenment began and ever since he has been devoted to help the humankind in whatever ways he can. Member of the ISKCON since 1990. He was actively engaged in preaching and book distribution as a Sankirtan leader in former Soviet Union till 1996. Later from 1996 to 1998 he got education in Mayapur under the guidance of HH Bhaktividya purna Swami. Later he was sent to take preaching responsibilities in Bangladesh, where he was travelling in Sankirtan party. After that he assisted GBC in establishing the temple in Allahabad as a Youth preacher and as the vice president. In 2003 GBC sent him to Nepal to develope Youth preaching and to help in creating the STRONG HOLD of Krishna Consciousness there , as per the instructed of Srila Prabhupada.
At the present moment Patri das is the active member of the
United Nations (URI),author, publicist, poet and musician. He is known worldwide as a motivational trainer and speaker as well as a linguist who is fluent in many languages ...
Mentor to many influencers, corporate and political leaders, pop and film celebrities. He actively teaches philosophical and moral disciplines for youth and students at universities and colleges around the world. In India he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen by the Government of India. His contributions are renowned in the fields of education and social services.
