This is what I expect manufacturers do with their second version shoes. Just make the upper better and don't mess with the midsole. The Zante and the Clifton got lost along the way coz they messed everything up. I like that the Epic React and Pegasus Turbo 2nd version evolved into good 2nd versions. I'm excited though with your favorite Skechers gorun ride, but that one is not a second version. It's just that the 7 is so good that it doesn't resemble its other iterations that it's like a new model by itself. Anyway, very good and entertaining videos as always. SO i guess I'm also one of the og's coz I've been watching your channel before you hit 1000 subscribers. Power on!
Sounds like the outsole is identical to the V1 which I'm digging. The only observation I have is that it took me at least 50 miles to break them in and feel the softness. I'm glad I kept them, almost returned them after my first 10-mile run. Great shoe. Will pick up the V2 once I wear out the old ones.

Holy crap!.... didn't think there would be anything better than the Skechers GRR7 in terms of my goto cush and bounce and comfort...... then I just got the Beacon 2 today and took it for a spin. Damn!! Its so good! Has a little more medial support than the GRR7 which suits my foot strike stability a bit more I've now found out.... I love the GRR7's but for some reason lately my knees have been working a bit harder in them... but on first run with these B2's you feel like you are coasting and you even want to push faster. Awesome for my rotation! Now B2's, GRR7's and New Balance 1080 v9's. PS: Love the review Jami!... Meghan "steel abs, rocking body' OG kicks butt! Need MBorNah to balance the scales out mate! ;)
Okay I love my beacon 1s, my only issue with New Balance/freshfoam shoes is that they feel drastically different to me depending on the temperature. I hate freshfoam in cold weather, just stiffens up too much in my opinion, but I love them in warm to hot weather. Just my opinion 🤷♂️
Beacon didn't treat me well. I kept tripping especially this winter where I was forced to run on treadmill. I think it's the lack of great flex and high stack height. I was disappointed. They are soft and comfortable. But these were the only shoes I had where I couldn't max the mileage usage on a shoe.
Came back to watch this old video. Meg is just so insanely beautiful. Perfectly toned and shaped for running at a high level. It's like gravity dosn't affect her. And Meg's smile could melt the Southpole in an instant :-) Hmmm, it's actually been a while since tha last Meg-Vid...
I was sliding left and right in the shoe the heel isn’t to secure laterally . I tried a heel lock and that helped a bit. It wasn’t to much of an issue for me but could be for others. The fresh foam GC make this shoe very firm I found my ON cloud flows more cushioned! The ground feel and turn over is nice I would much rather go for the new balance propel! Definitely over hyped in every way it doesn’t fit very well! The fit could have been better. Compared to an epic react the epic react 2 was light years ahead of the beacon. My foot isn’t narrow I tend to be slightly on the narrower side. I just think theirs better shoes for the price. And for me the beacon doesn’t really have a place in my rotation! It’s not really comfortable for longer runs and the stack hight is to high for any faster running. Sad I had high expectations for this shoe.
The Fresh foam in the beacon is a bit more of the softer side, the fuel cell in the revel has more “bounce” and “responsiveness.” Each has their purpose I suppose
For responsiveness and speed, which one? Beacon 2 vs. Fuelcell Rebel vs. Zante Pursuit? They're all about the same weight. It'd be nice to do a 3-way comparison.

Depends on what you're looking for. I use the triumph as a more cushioned , protective option. I use the beacon as a lighter weight option. It depends on the type of running you're doing that day.

I got 600kms on the beacon 1s and retired them last week and have the v2s in the post. Outsole is fine. Can't wait for freshness

I haven't been in the Beacon 2, but I can't see me pulling my Beacon 1 as long as I have the Rincon sitting right next to it.
