I am a fan of the Zante’s serie! I have run all my 3 marathons in them! Zante V1, V2 and V4! They perform well in any distance and any kind of training! Absolutely amazing!
Ran 3 marathons in this shoe (V2 though). It works! No bells & whistles with this shoe, it just does what it needs to. And perfectly! 👌🏽 My best 5k, 10km, 21km and 42km in these. Have 4 pairs on rotation. I'm onto the beacon and Feulcell Impulse now. I think the Beacon might just be the new benchmark! 👌🏽 ps- love your reviews.. keep up the good work!👍🏽
I have the V2 zantes and love them but on longer runs I can definitely feel the lack of cushioning in my legs for a couple of days after them for me a half marathon would be the max I'd run in these but still a brilliant shoe
Interesting to hear about the marathons. I have an (older) pair of NB Vazee Pace V2 shoes that I just did a half-marathon in, and they felt great. So, I was wondering if I could use them in a full I'm doing next Februrary. However, they're wearing out and it seems like there's not a newer version of the Vazee Pace V2 (I guess the Zante is kind of the replacement?).
I love lower drop shoes. Feels more natural especially with less cushioning. I got these about a month ago and have ran every run in them so far. I love them. Super light weight and almost pushes me to run in my toes. Super comfy to walk in as well. My new favs for sure. Going to run a marathon in October and the zante pursuits will be my go to for that
Was between this and the Kinvara 10 for a lower drop lightweight trainer, ended up with the Saucony as I enjoyed the slightly softer feel when testing both out. I know you get a ton of shoe requests but think it'd be a great comparison!
First run, took my Zante Pursuit’s on a 7 miler road run. I found that they didn’t have much cushioning in the mid shoe and my feet were sore the next day. They are definitely no NB beacon! I see them more as a speed/shorter tempo shoe, same as my Zante V3’s. Also notice the toe and heal area on both shoes have worn after only 7 miles (I’m not a heal striker).
i kept calling it crystal rubber, but i thought that would be a trade name, like flyknit versus hypoknit vs primeknit. so i tried to avoid using the term crystal rubber
This shoes is comfy as hell, lightweight, good breathability. I have one pair too, now my shoes have some stitches on the outsole because the glue doesn’t hold anymore 😂. And yeah it’s yellowing also… My shoes my war machine 😂

Do you have any more recommendations based on your knowledge for cross-country?
kofuzi , Nice update. Is the Zante Persuit a "true to size" shoe like Kinvara 9? If Kinvara 9 in size 15US is a good fit for me (not snug but also not loose) should i get 15US for Zante Persuit as well? Do both shoes have the same shoe length? Can you measure your K9 and Persuit side by side and tell? Is there a noticeable difference between 4mm drop and 6mm drop? I never tried 6mm drop shoes. Sorry for the bombardment of questions, the thing is, usually running shoes in size 15US are not available in stores in my country so i have to rely on reviews and order shoes from abroad which cost quite a lot because of shipping fees.
