Squats, bend-over rows, standing shoulder press, lateral raises, pushups using the band for extra resistance. Never thought I‘d ever say this but by now I prefer bands over free weights and machines. Thanks for your informative and helpful videos and best wishes from 🇩🇪😊
Great video and information, A couple of months ago I was feeling very weak on my right side (arm) and decided to look up resistant band exercise for strength and came across your videos, following along your videos help me got stronger. Thank you Discipline Dave so much band exercises are now my favorite.
I just ordered the toro bands, cant wait to get them. Now I've been looking at your vids to find a good workout to schedule in my week. I'm 49 and turning 50 in april, so I have a goal in mind and hope to reach it by then
The bands that you always promote, do they have anti snap technology. Personally I love bodylastics as they have said anti snap technology. But if they do snap, like I had both my 3lb bands snap on me within a month recently, the company replace the band(s) free off charge minus a $4 shipping cost & thats decent as I live in the UK. But thanks dude for another great video. I like seeing a different perspective on band training. You rock!!
They don’t guarantee that they snap but it does come with a warranty and they will replace it for free. I haven’t had any issues snapping. Thanks for watching.
In all honesty Dave, ALL bands whichever make you buy will snap at some point. Mine snapped as I overstretched them as I used them accompanied with another band. But I should have known better by now to not overstretch. Rule #1 & all that. Great stuff that the Torrobands you promote also have a warranty. Not many band companies do.
I saw one of the Bodylastics guys sit on the floor and wrap the band around his foot, as they do when they want to make the band "shorter", and he just pushed his leg out straight. He did one leg at a time. D.D. has a new toy, the Bodylastics curl bar, and perhaps one could sit on the floor with their back to the door and putting your feet in a comfortable spot, push the curl bar out, away, and do both feet at once, but I would consult D.D. on that first, to see if it's proper practice. Good luck!!
👉 So Dave, you got the Ultra Anchor huh!? Guess Bodylastics ain't so bad after all Bro!... grin. 🙂👍🏿 I'm sure they'll eventually come out with heavier bands of course with their anti-snap feature. I'm not worried so much about being hit by the band as I am an eye put out. That's why I like them! The Toro bands don't look bad either. I might pick up a set once they add more. AND a better looking carry bag.
Hey I’m not married to any brand I go after what I feel is the best, even though I don’t think their bands are the best they are best when it comes to accessories so far. I am in a very fortunate position where I can try many brands to have a more objective opinion and I share my thoughts. Bodylastics bands are good also I just don’t think they are the best I’ve tried
@@DisciplineDave Eventually I'm going to purchase Toro bands also. I just wish they would come out with a feature that prevents snapping. Again I'm more worried about my eyes than I am body parts. 🙂👍🏿👍🏿 Hey Dave, when you get a chance consider getting their curl bar also. I have it, it's high quality and great. If you do get it, it breaks in half so you can carry it in the bag that it comes with. Just be sure not to pop the chain that holds the two pieces together. It's not necessary I think they just use it as an additional safety feature. It actually locks in place by twisting. Another fellow on RUclips...(V-FIT)...popped his...and it works just fine. Again is just there for an additional safety feature if you buy it.👍
@@DisciplineDave Thanks buddy. If you could figure out some decent neck exercises, with bands of course, that would be great. Hard to find those kind of workouts these days. THX again. *I thought maybe the straps could be used some kind of way for neck exercises.???🙂👍🏿
Extreme chest Works out Extreme abs work out Biceps & Tricep work out shoulder work out Back work out Back work out help lower back pulled muscles in lower back and Resistance bands with handles help with my lower back
Here he goes again, with the "face pulls"! When he tested the Bodylastics he turned away from the door and had a pillow on his back, but for this, he just pulls and pulls, daring the bands to break his nose. I keep screaming that he should be wearing goggles and a crash helmet. Of course, there is always the chance the goggles will end up coming out the back of his head, but Kids--you can't tell them anything!!
What are your favorite resistance band exercises ?
Cable fly my favourite. Can you do a video on abs workout. Thanks

My favorite for resistance bands is the forward overhead press. It’s so hard but I noticed my triceps and shoulders are growing fast with it
nice 👍🏾 keep it up
Do you still use weights or just straight bands?
80% of my workouts are bands
@@DisciplineDave thanks dave, keep it up!

I can't do deep squats because my right ankle mobility is poor after ankle fractures. How to do as a leg press with resistance bands at home?
