  • Get results with resistance bands by avoiding these 5 things. This applies to loop bands, pull up bands, or tube bands. If you are a beginner and just bought a set of bands, or you have be using them for a while and not seeing results this video will help you understand what you are doing wrong and why you are not getting results. Make sure you watch the video till the end because everything in video is important for you to fully understand how to get results with resistance bands.     Greetings from France, Dave :) I'm 49, very slim and have had a constant struggle to build muscle despite using bands and weights, and eating healthily and enough. All that happens is I get a bigger belly from the eating to bulk up! I wanted to have just one summer where I feel confident before I hit 50! I think I am doing something wrong......

    Oh huh... I think I may have been ego lifting in some exercises... that’s why I’ve been skipping those sets... got it. It’s been an adjustment going from the gym to bands and you have been my band guru... Thanks for getting me through pandemic workouts and great video!

    Hey Dave, good video as usual. I thought you might like to know that there is a typo in ‘mistake #1’. You’ve spelt ‘weights’ as ‘waeights’.

    I just got my Bands today. Is it normal, that are a little 'stretched ' after first use? The ones I jused are now longer than the ones I didnt use. Before they all had the same length

      I was definitely making mistakes 1 and 3 when I first started using resistance bands. I quickly realized I had to fix that after the first week or two of seeing no gains 🤪 Great vid! Thanks for the information!

    wouldn’t more reps work muscle endurance ? i’m trynna build muscle

      No we get some more blood flow to the muscle which leads to good gains. You want to switch it up from doing high repetition to heavy low repetition do not stick with one rep range

      @@DisciplineDave thanks for replying! I am a beginner when it comes to using bqnds. My favorite equipment used to be dumbbells. But injured my shoulder. I have 18 screws and 3 plates in there permanently stuck. So I am looking for something that I could.do without snapping.my shoulder and killing my back. I think it would be interesting to see your wife doing full workouts. Explaining the weights,. posture, and showing a.month of a weekly training routine. I think a lot of women feel intermediated to follow a routine of a shredded male bodybuilder. But they can relate to a woman performing a routine. In my opinion, series for women will help boost a female audience for your channel.
      As for the bands of Bob and Brad, they are always out of stock. I am ordering bodylastics.ones. Even Bob and Brad recommend this brand.

      Wow thank you for the feedback, I think you’re 100% right i’m just need to figure out how I can provide more value with my wife in the female audience is that a rehashing the same workouts. I will contact Bob & Brad about their inventory to see when they’ll be able to restock and keep up with the demand.       I do have leg workouts, I still don’t know what you mean by “push pull,” every exercise is push pull

      I'll try to explain Dave! What I mean is In the “push” workout you train all the upper body pushing muscles, i.e. the chest, shoulders and triceps.
