I came back to this video just to say that I finally got a fitness band. Literally just got it when I got in from work last night. Its not super expensive(the Amazfit band5 dropped to 19bucks). But, it tracks a few catgories like burn, steps, sleep, etc. It also has a stop watch. I had been using a traditional digital watch's stop watch feature to monitor rest time.
Thank you Discipline Dave for your video. I am now 60 years old and I don't want my shoulders to shrink too much. My favorite accessory is my old leather weightlifting belt. My back is not like yours. It seems like doing these exercises standing requires a strong back.
Thank you for watching, well I would recommend that you focus on posture I’m going lighter when you do the exercises to help build your back. Do you want to make sure that you’re extremely stable throughout the exercises and weight is evenly distributed
I have one of those multi point door anchors which makes swapping between exercises much easier. Also agree with you on gloves especially if using loop bands. Also like a bar for things like deadlifts and chest press plus a plate for heavy resistance leg work. Much easier than using your feet.
Thank you for this Dave I did not think about using a bench, until I watched your video. Also the gloves will be essential for me, so I don't get soreness on my hands.
Hello Dave, great video with lots of good idea's. I do have a question for you. Which do you prefer; the loop bands or the tube bands with the handles oh the ends? Thanks for any help. Joel
I use loop styled bands but the prob is that whenever I try leg extension or curls i have to wear socks and full pant or trouser the reason the band which i anchor on ankle slips and slack on skin which not only hurt my skin but also due to it slips and comes above under the knees i can't leg extension properly...i can't use medium and more heavy bands due to too heavy for that exercise...should I buy handles?
I would get good quality ankle straps for "Tube Style bands" I would get this set of bands if you don't own tube style because this brand comes with great ankle straps (Click Link) amzn.to/3Cm9WMC
Dave, I was wondering. I came across BOSSBODY 2.0. Looks like some kind of band home gym system. Have you used this or something similar? Looking at it online, I thought about building my own. I have some bands. I went and got me some attachments and salvaged some handles from a friends set. If you get a chance could you give your thoughts on a system like that?
What are your "Must Haves" when you workout?
Water

Music! Lol
Garage Fit handles for loop bands. Cable Ankle straps with d-rings for carabiners. Pull up bar ( no screw, adjustable height). Foot plate.
Nice!!!
Because of you, I'm going to be ordering my first set of Bob and Brad bands (the loop style).
Thanks for your help.
Nice! you will love em

Nice 👍🏾
I like the idea of the folding bench.

Great video! Thanks! Waiting for a full body 30-40 min "follow me" style workout with tube bands, please. And video abt massager would be also useful.
Thanks, it's coming I just got to do a few things first.

Tube bands with handles on the end. These are my favorite sale.torroband.com/?affId=22E20181
@@DisciplineDave Thanks for answering so quickly. I also find them easier to use, especially on curls.

I've been considering a bench like that. Any chance of doing a video with these type of bench/band exercises or did it I miss it in your library?
I have them randomly in videos
Does miss discipline Dave ❤ the massage gun?
Hi Dave, don’t the resistance bands rub your shoulders and arms when using a sleeveless shirt?
They do, but I found some workarounds. The more you work out with the more you will learn. Also certain materials won’t rub like others
Please review the massage gun
There goes a a vote!, anyone else ?
