But Mongolians look like the Khoisan of Africa. Chinese scientist say they descend from Africa. So where do NA really come from then? Famous Native Americans like Mr Pompey Factor who had a Seminole father and a Biloxi NDN mother, look nothing like a Chinese or Khoisan.
I'll put it like this, Northwestern USA and Canadian may look like Chinese from the Khoisan; but, Central America and South American Native Americans are said to look more African. Like 11,700 year old Luzia-woman found in South America.

The same reason some Afro-Americans look Asian? Never heard of the rapper, "Chingy"; or, super-model Tyson Beckford; or, TV commentator: Michael Yo; or, ex-NFL player Michael Strahand?
They all look Asian? Tight-eyes is just not in Mexico. It's throughout the Old-South of the USA! Where they got Soul, like Seoul, Korea! lol
Then again, what is Asian? People in Iran are Asians, they don't look Mongolian. Neither do people in India who don't look Iranian or Chinese. How about those Asian ANDAMANESE ISLANDERS who are considered Founder DNA group of the First Americans of Peopling of the Americas?
Three South American Native American tribes share ancient the same Ancient DNA with them.

Everything east of SHINAR in Mesopotamia is/was considered "Oriental" all the way to the _FAR EAST_
Shinar ( Hebrew שִׁנְעָר Šinʻar, Septuagint Σεννααρ Sennaar) is a biblical geographical locale of uncertain boundaries in Mesopotamia. The name may be a corruption of Hebrew Shene neharot ("two rivers"), Hebrew Shene arim ("two cities"), or Akkadian _Shumeru._
Shumeru = Sumer (/ˈsuːmər/) which was the first ancient urban civilization in the historical region of southern Mesopotamia, modern-day southern Iraq, during the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze ages, and arguably the first civilization in the world.
The Sumerians referred to themselves as
*ùĝ saĝ gíg-ga,* phonetically /uŋ saŋ giga/, literally meaning *"the black-headed people",* and to their land as ki-en-gi(-r) ('place' + 'lords' + 'noble'), meaning "place of the noble lords"
Now, if they started out as, *"the black-headed people",* who were _noble lords_, why would not the _Black-Indians?_

Most Nigerians speak 1 of 4 main languages of the area, not to say this is all of them but these are the main ones: Yoruba is the most spoken by the people of Nigeria with Hausa, Igbo and Fulani, not necessarily in that order but those are the big 4. Yoruba was the main one that was brought to these shores through slavery, tho there were sprinkles of the others as well. If you take a look at the religions that came over with the enslaved Africans and look at the practices today in places like Cuba with the Santeria religion, and Candomble and also in Brazil and throughout the Americas, the similarities are still there, especially in Cuban music.

Only about 2% of the African American population have any Native American DNA. My mother's family thought they were part Native American as well, but after having my DNA tested by two different companies for both my maternal and paternal DNA it showed that my maternal side didn't show any African or Native American DNA at all, but was rather a mixture of Middle Eastern, Great Britain, Irish and Italian. My father's side was from Madagascar, Central African Republic and East India of all places. DNA test results are like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get.

    1. NATIVE AMERICAN.
    2. INDIGENOUS.
    3. METIS.
    4. MESTIZO.
    5. AMERINDIAN.
If you test with DNATribes, you may see multiple terms used to indicate your Native/Indigenous DNA. DNATribes will give you more ethnic information, versus
    percentages of regions/countries.

I always thought Tyrone would have a little Asian ancestry due to his eye shape but a lot of people of African descent have that anyway, I myself mostly come from West Indian heritage with a bit of Irish from my mothers side, there is possible there is some Hispanic heritage due to my last name being Fernandez but I also have Tyrone as my first name. Because I'm light skinned, I do get asked if I'm biracial but of course I will reply I'm not, I do have mixed ancestry but I'm mainly black so I identify as a black person.

***** The late Secretary of War points out some of the most
prominent. There are a great many white men, missionaries, and others
connected with the missions, who have comfortable settlements on the land
occupied by the Cherokees, and a direct interest in preventing any
change in their condition. These persons have been actively engaged
in correspondence with their friends, and the patrons of their missionary
establishment. The Cherokee Government is in the hands of a few
half-breeds and white men, who, through its instrumentality, regulate the affairs
and control all the funds of the tribe. There is a press established,
supported by those funds: a press established in a community of thirteen
thousand souls, not five hundred of whom can read or write?

Here's the thing with Native American DNA. In the USA and Canada, quite a few people have this admixture, but it tends to be only 1 ancestor (unless you're Metis) 5 or more generations back. When it's only through one lineage (one side of the family all the way up the tree) the chances of that particular DNA passing down in a detectable amount by the time it reaches you, is lower with each generation. Unless it's along your direct maternal line (mother's mother's mother... etc), in which case it will definitely show up. Some people get a tiny fragment of it, some get as high as 5% for distant admixture. Depends on the pattern of inheritance, you could have a sibling with 3x as much as you.

I believe some americans have to come out of their bubble, and they should also know the "Mediterranean race" has created some of the most effective inventions for humanity, and their girls love us xd
Spain 1-0 America (just kidding xd)

Tyrone, as a professional genealogist, you might have a native in your family, but from your results, it doesn't look like you inherited their DNA, that doesn't mean that they aren't your ancestor! XD. If you want to find it, I would recommend testing all your family members (specifically the older folks.) I hope you see this!

When I began watching your video, I have to be very honest, please do not be offended, but I thought, "lol, even Nigerians in the states are taking DNA tests?" - sounds ignorant, I know but when I saw your face, I saw a Nigerian immediately without a doubt in my mind. More of an Igbo than any other part. But not that your results made me feel any happy I guessed right, it just made me all the more fascinated with the migration pathway of people.

***** i deff will!!! I will do a video also!!! they just got my sample on the 29th of October and started processing on the 30th. I am doing this test to know my African ancestry more than anything else to be honest, and i would be surprised if i have native Indian ancestry. i rather go in not expecting anything and be surprised. my guess is that i should be 30-40% African, and in the 60-70% European...and that is without taking to consideration any native ancestry

Nigerians mostly speak Hausa and Igbo. Ivory Coast mostly speaks French. I speak Hausa and French mostly because I haven't done my Ancestry test yet and I'm just picking languages here and there. Should you choose to learn them both are easy and I'd recommend an app called Memrise for learning as well as a few books w/CDs since both are auditory languages.

    • @BewitchingSouls
      @BewitchingSouls 9 лет назад +2

Actually, most of the African Americans that I'm sharing with on 23andMe do have Southeast Asian ancestry, including myself and my father and mother. Just a little. The reason for this being, I think- I'm not sure, is because of potential Malagasy ancestry. Malagasy are the native people of Madagascar, off the coast of Southeast Africa. Some of them were taken as slaves to the Americas (mostly to Peru, but many to Virginia in the States). The Malagasy people are of the Austronesian race, so they have a lot in common with Filipinos, Indonesians, and Fijian people; even their language. Bantu-speaking people from Southern and Central Africa, I believe, settled in Madagascar and mixed with the local population. In the 1700s, the people of Madagascar started trading with the Chinese. Some Chinese started settling in Madagascar too in the 1800s. The people of Madagascar today are a mix of Southeast Asian, Sub-Saharan African, and East Asian ancestry. They say many African Americans today might have Malagasy ancestry without even knowing it. It's really interesting.
      rootsrevealed.blogspot.com/2014/06/got-roots-in-madagascar.html
But it doesn't have to be Malagasy ancestry, because back in the 1800s, Chinese immigrants also migrated to the South to places like Louisiana and Mississippi. Many of the men married into the African American communities at the time just like the Chinese settlers that went to Jamaica. It's why so many black Jamaicans have East Asian ancestry. South Asians aren't anything new either, for some African Americans I'm sharing have that and Middle Eastern ancestry as well.

BeWiTcHeD I knew there were a lot of Chines mix with black in Jamaica. I read that a few years back.
