I understand that people like Snoop & Dre can't be expected to pay medical bills, funeral expenses, and stuff like that for every person that ever sang on a hook for them (or look out for the ones who didn't continue to make it in the industry by giving them all money). That being said, Jewell and people at Death Row are different, in my opinion. These are people they came up with in the VERY beginning and sang on the hits that helped launch their careers. They were a tight label that was like family and looked out for each other. The fact that Snoop & Dre didn't help her out, knowing she sang on some of their biggest hits that helped launch them to stardom, says everything you need to know about them.

I think that artist Jewell was under payed as a musician, but was very appreciated as a friend. She was singing versus on alot of people's albums, but she couldn't even make money on touring, unless those artists took her with them. They say that nobody owes anyone anything, but. A lot of people owed Jewell money, because she increased the value of their songs by her singing on them. When those people she worked with hit it big, they forgot about her.

The same lady disappeared for years after making a hit record in 1999 called dipping with Dre & Snoop. She popped up in 2011 dissing Dr Dre & Snoop just to sell/promote her book. She falsely accused Dre of being a homosexual without proof & her publishers had to deal with that BS. She did make peace with Snoop recently but you can't blame Dre for not fucking with her anymore. I would do the same.
