What amuses me the most is that immediately after that, you find Clone Cop's "Home/Base" That means... That he intentionally put a turret as his personal secretary... or that he left it there
I really like how this mod finally makes Half-LIfe 2 characters/factions actually interact with Aperture Science AI despite never actually making contact in the actual stories despite existing in the same universe.
SPOILER ALERT for the rest of the game The first time I played this mod, I took this turret along with Wilson. I have multiple screenshots to prove this. It's actually a really good weapon, infinite ammo (I think) and you can just hide. Sadly I don't think it's possible to carry the turret all the way to the end, as in the Xen mines (forgot what they're called officially), there is only one minecart that follows you, and you place Wilson on there. If you put the turret on the minecarts without any supports, it falls off; if you put it in front of the minecarts it falls to its side. You can't just carry it to the destination because the railroad has electricity. No new dialogue, by the way. The turret didn't say anything outside of what turrets usually say. Wilson doesn't acknowledge it. EDIT: I have made it past the minecarts! One thing to note is that the turret turns off (its eye stops glowing and it doesn't shoot) after you capture Judith for some reason. I have no clue why, but it seems to happen no matter where the turret is and only after Judith gets captured. RIP EDIT 2: At the start of Chapter 6, you can walk through the turret. It's still dead. You can pick it up though EDIT 3: At the AI Upload Station, you can successfully put it into the station along with WIlson (it doesn't treat the turret as a valid AI, I guess). Be careful because the platform can easily get stuck
I was also taking this secretary turret with me and Wilson as well. I've named her Stacie and she kicks ass, killed like 8 rebels and a million zombies on the way to the surface, and she saved my life multiple times during the boss fight. You can also stick Stacie on top of the APC you get, and she fires while on top! Sadly you can only carry either Stacie or Wilson, not both. You'll have to make multiple trips if you want both Stacie and Wilson. Hopefully this is patched and we are able to either upload Stacie into Wilson, or vice versa (🤨que vine boom and The Rock Johnson 🤨) or have provisions to carry them both to the end and upload both. As for now, I'm going to leave Stacie with the Combine at Arbeit, so she can faithfully provide Military Android and Secretary services. I imagine she'll have a pretty big Arbeit/Aperture pension after all this is over. "Say goodbye Stacie" "Goodbye..."
I took that white turrent with me too. Helped me a lot fighting gonome. Can take it with you instead Wilson too, for some firepower because it can be attached on the car too. It would be cool if 2 turrets can talk to eachother if you take both.

i don't think so but its super anoying to try i gived up half-way through and abandonned her because caring wilson AND unnamed white turret was just anoying (even tho white turret helped me a lot through some section)
I did it. And it feels so rewarding. It changes the end of the game (there are 3 endings) Edit: Thought you were talking of Wilson. I tried bringing the white one and wilson but was impossible. In the minecart part I lost the white one, sadly
There are several parts of the game that make it impossible to bring any other turret with you, like the minecart ride that has a headcrab suckling on Wilson's face. Or the scene where you're constantly running away from your copy with Mossman following and Wilson in your hands.

After killing the gonome with it, I ended getting emotionally attached to it and taking it and willson with me. I got it as far as the part where you have to run from your clone with mossman, where I sadly had to leave it behind.
Here’s something neat I found, you can take that turret with you, unfortunately it can’t unlock doors, only Wilson can, but you can mount it on the APC later, and it will attack the rebels, so if you have the carryable Wilson add on, it makes this a viable option
You can skip the first one, it has frustrating gameplay and barely has any plot a which is referenced at the beginning of the sequel. Basically original 3650 was a metrocop and did a great deal for the Combine in City 10 and ended up in some form of stasis, they retrieved him and decided to keep his consciousness stored in Overworld and upload it to multiple clones, one of which is a protagonist of the sequel.
It's pretty good. Without it, there would never be sequel. The first two chapters are very enjoyable. Take note of hints shown in the environment and displayed on your hud. The only frustration inducing level in my opinion is escort mission besides that it's very well made mod.
@@Mintor94 I hate having limited vision and only source of light being npc (flares are unreliable). The final boss fight isn't as difficult as you may think, just save shotgun ammo for final encounter.
@@alvaronavarro4895 not exactly. Play Black Mesa instead of HL1 (better and gives more story). And HL2 has 2 sequels (Half life episode 1 and episode 2). Those 2 sequels are REQUIRED for this mod. So yeah pretty much the whole series without including Alyx
