These two are already Tottenham legends.
Jan is a real leader on the pitch. Dier has had multiple opportunities, and hasn’t impressed yet.
He plays a bad season. But saying he wasn’t good before is bullshit. He had very good seasons
I'm not exaggerating when saying we should've kept Jan all these years instead of Dier. Even without his legs, he craps all over Dier.
Dier is one of the worst Tottenham players ever
Jan is a leader by heart. Gives on everything on and off the pitch. Toby is one of the best DC's, hard working and complying to what ever the Gaffer tells em. Definitely both of them GOAT's of Belgium...
In regards to footballing reasons Jan left because Toby has little more pace than him. I’ve never seen two CB’s at a club that basically offer the exact same qualities in their position🤷♂️
lindelof and maguire both ball playing cbs both right footed both lack pace both lack agility both have aerial presence

He left because he wasnt being given minutes which turns out was because he was recovering from a head injury and couldn't regain fitness. Look at him now hes doing amazing for benfica, occasionally captain. He just needed time to heal properly which he got in lockdown
