Your videos are inspiring for this "newbie." The Allegheny is incredible!
Something as nice as that, makes me fear it falling off the curves! Great video!
Amazing engine. Great layout. I have watched many many of your videos.
Super nice loco!
It sure is!
Another enjoyable video Peter, best I have seen Bram's Allegheny run she seems to be getting better each time.
Thanks
I'm sure this is redundant, but this is a real steam locomotive and not just a model. I've have been just barely aware of this "live steam" train hobby in the UK, and you even run American locos.
Over here the 611 and X 4449 are known by their wheel arrangements 4-8-4 or Northerns. Also the UP 844 is this class. You have some superb models. I am envious. ;-)
so is the great northern S2 (which is my profile picture)
611 and 844 aren't the same class. Sure they're the same wheelbase. But the 844 class is FEF-3, NW 611 is class J, and SP 4449 is class GS-4.
All of the 3 were built by different industries.
That was very pleasing video to watch. Excellent footage especially when the camera follows the loco on the other track. Very nice work. Can't wait to see Bram's interpretation as well.
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
@@peterspoerer1 No problem 😀
Hey the rail cars are called hopper cars in the USA but buttiful Allegany
Hi dear Bram, superb locomotive and great layout! It is a pity that loco is not suitable for my little, industrial and mining layout! Keep safe and cheers Fabrizio
Many thanks!
@@peterspoerer1 Thanks to you for posting! Greetings to you and to Bram too! Cheers Fabrizio
That steam train like big boy
As an American seeing the scale of what we build as a "Large locomotive" compared to British locomotives really puts into perspective the size.
I am a fan of steam engines
so am I!
@@peterspoerer1 yes
I also a steam engine fan
What a great video!!! 🎅
Is this traine in Michigan?
😍😍😍😍😍
I'd love to see how your lift up bridge works. Mine rail does not always line up unless I use rail clamps. thanks
If you think about it it’s so amazing that people have gotten so addicted to the hobby of model railroading that they start buying live steam engines and even more amazing that companies build these and work so well
Is that a real steam engine or electric with effects?
Does the locomotive use the power from the rail to drive its engine or it has its actual engine ?
It's an actual engine
The best
glad you liked it
What a beautiful locomotive!!
Do you have a list of materials you used to construct your railroad? Any blueprints or drawings? I am very interested in your design and how long it’s been holding up? Thank you!
Beautiful footage @2:55 !
What Camera do you have mounted to the camera car / dolly ?
Could friends answer a curiosity, what is the investment in a beautiful locomotive like this? thank you for the return thank you
Good question! New the loco is around £8,000
@@peterspoerer1 thanks!! =D
I own a T-Gauge scale Big Boy with live steam.
