I just bought a mofi4500, I'm returning it and getting this. Thank you so much for sharing this, you saved me $200. I already have the visible partyplan. My IP now provides only 10 mps now, it's awful!!
@@RouterRelated It's an internet service provider hard wired for a rural area and it's not reliable and goes in and out. Right now it's 4.5 mbps and we're paying $79 a month for this crap, plus $5 for the router. There's a tower that's visible from my home. So this should get me better much better speeds. I work from home and use a voip, plus I do coaching calls on skype and it's always losing connection while on my calls.
@@RouterRelated I got my unit today and I'm not getting the speeds you got. Right now it's 4.7 mbps, which is the same as the internet service provider's speed. I had to select all bands to get it to work. I'm going to try moving it around and see if there' s a better spot for it. These antennas don't come off like the Mofi4500. I was going to try an external antenna with it.
I updated the firmware today and the router speed is twice as fast now. Thank God it worked... I hope it stays that way, thanks again for making this video, saved me $250!
Visible is great! I just wish they didn't have to route their traffic to Denver or Jersey. But hey, it sure as hell beats traditional satellite ping and price wise. Great content man! Love the mofi killers.
Ignore my previous response. This destroys a mofi sim7... This has band locking which is why folks are enamored on the mofi... But at the end of the day it's $125.00 which cannot be beat.

Good home solution, as i am away 6 months, and this lets me see my home camera s and change the house cooling and heating numbers.
Great video. Sad what Visible has done now though by limiting speed to 5 Mbs.

Use any phone or jump on live chat and have them activate the sim
There is an easier way you can get 3 months on ebay for under $20
3 months cost $15 if you follow my method
