- DJI Avata 2 | Rumors & Leaks - Appears we're just a few weeks away from the new DJI Avata 2 release. Check out this video for everything we know to date and my thoughts on what to expect in this new drone from DJI. Two different dates are floating around right now. The Avata 2 is rumored to be announced on April 11th, 2024 and the DJI RS4 Gimbal and DJI 4-Pro Gimbal are to be announced on April 9, 2024. We'll know soon enough!

UPDATE: It’s official! DJI is officially announcing this product on April 11, 2024. DJI just sent out their teaser earlier today! Rumored Specs: 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with a 48 MP native resolution and an f/2.8 aperture. Additionally, the camera is said to have a 155-degree field-of-view plus support for capturing 4K/60 FPS and 2.7K/120 FPS videos.

You and me both....I'm sure we'll keep seeing more leaks and info. before the official launch. I'm not a fan of Remote ID but at least it's one less thing to worry about since it will be built into this quad as well. The quicker I can get into the air without jumping through a bunch of hoops the happier I'll be.

if they bring this product out, will you be able to use your controller and goggles from the previous version? because i dont want to buy a whole other set. great video btw 👍🏼
Based on what I know of DJI to date I would say the previous DJI controllers and DJI goggles will NOT work (at least not initially). My guess would be DJI 'might' push out firmware updates down the line for backward comparability of previous hardware. However, DJI is not known to give their customers full backward compatibility with newer hardware they release. Perhaps a few months down the road but not initially based on past experience with them.

RIght there with you. Hopefully they build in that back-ward compatibility. Yeah, I'm hopeful that DJI ran the new Goggles 3 through some top FPV Pilots to get their input on that as well. Comfort and light leakage....handle both of those and I think most of us will be very happy.
@@RGMGFitness yeah i want just the drone ,and i in the EU the goggles 2 has fcc hack if the new goggles don't have fast the ocu4 is pointless not give plus ,i heard maybe come a remote 3 built in antenna so you cant rotate it less range or need look the drone maybe the goggle 3 camera help to follow the drone for better signal that's nice feature, sometime i lost in my goggle 2 if need to gain signal😄

No prices out yet...but can assume it will be similar to original Avata release prices (we'll, plus another 3% for inflation). 😲😲😲 Of course prices vary depending on your country, what package you get etc. Just the Avata 2, a Combo Package, etc.

I'm hearing April 11th, 2024 as the release date at the moment. But, it could release sooner.....all rumors as this point. DJI usually sends out an email (if your on their distribution list) a few days before the official launch. So, I'm sure we'll know more before the actual release date.
